    The reason I love this video is simple : This video got me my dream bike!
    It was a time when I rode a humble Bajaj Discover 125 (second hand). I needed power. RAW POWER. And on 30th Jan 2012, the Bajaj Pulsar 200NS was unveiled. I remember, i was in college when my friend messaged that the new pulsar looks awesome. I ran home that instant, switched on the PC, and drooled the images of the Yellow Beast. That was when I totally completely truly madly deeply fell in love with the machine. My dad was ready to buy me a Hero Honda Splendour, but I denied the offer because I had only one dream, owning this machine. And then, one fine day, there was an offer on a well maintained R15. Then I started having second thoughts. That was the time when this video was launched. PTR back then. HOLY SMOKES. All those feelings back then started rushing back x10 times more. All those second thoughts vanished in those 12 minutes of the video. I just had one dream bike and the dream of owning one finally came true after 20 months since I first saw this beauty. Now she's a good two year old and still runs like a dream. Thank you #powerdrift for making my dream come true.

    PTR team is putting too much great effort on making reviews. Its like making a great commercial for every bike. Most of the time the reviews are far more cooler than the bike commercial. Great Job team, never seen a review like this, not even from abroad.

    Hey Powerdrift, why isn't the Pulsar sold in the USA? We could use a good, inexpensive trainer over here like the Pulsar.. we got the Chinese selling totally SHIT 250 Singles over here and I think this Pulsar would easily defeat the Chinese... why aren't they here?

    • @TanmayChhatbar
      @TanmayChhatbar 9 років тому

      Gloomshadow100 It's probably because Bajaj has a really 'Sold in India ONLY' kind of thinking. I don't like it either, as they are giving away a lot of the market for learners.

    • @Gloomshadow100
      @Gloomshadow100 9 років тому

      Tanmay Chhatbar there is no reason why the Pulsar could not sell here.. they could even bump it up to 300 or maybe even 350cc.

    • @TanmayChhatbar
      @TanmayChhatbar 9 років тому

      Gloomshadow100 No doubt about it, but I don't really think Bajaj would do that. They seem too 'Indian' to share their bikes with the world. I might be wrong. I hope I am.

    • @bendover-bz4bc
      @bendover-bz4bc 7 років тому

      Tanmay Chhatbar lol bajaj also sells majority of theirs stock in regions like Mexico and Africa, Europe and some of these countries. I have also seen spanish or french advertising of bajaj which is 10 years old. because the import tax in these countriese are less than other world . so bajaj can also earn some bucks. bajaj been selling these bikes to these regions from past decades.

    You guys are brilliant and are easily the best guys to make a video review for bikes in India. The only complaint if I had one was for you to make videos reviewing more bikes and comparisons like you had with the cbr vs ninja. I know it might not be possible with a limited crew but it's just wishful thinking

    Best review I've ever seen of the 200NS!!! You guys are stellar! Would love to work with you if i'm worthy of it. And btw, this one is sealing the deal for me. A staunch Honda follower. But I shall save my best words of critique until my forthcoming NS becomes a few 1000 clicks old. Yes, we will be buying one soon. The vibes are the only issue for us, moving over from a Karizma to the NS.

    रोहन राव, तुमची बाजूला करण्याची style आवडली आपल्याला :-D
    2nd Entry ROHAN “TEN HUT” my all time favorite, love the way u guys captured the sound of car reverse gear, camera angle going along with door lock opening. JUST PERFECT
    3rd Entry ROGER (we missed u a lot R.I.P.) the rider…
    4th Entry MY LOVE PULSAR.. wow wow rain#pulsar#sound#video editing#thnqPTR#
    5th Entry SAGAR the rider, you are phenomenal we all love you.
    This is one of those video in which you guys covered and explaining all the details and video divided in parts like LOOKS AND STYLING-PERFORMANCE AND HANDLING-THE VERDICT.

    Engine vibrations of 200NS are negligible when compared with Pulsar 220. These slight vibrations are because of a high compression ratio of 11:1 & lack of fuel injection. But still I don't think these slight vibrations are hazardous for engine. Many people have clocked more than 1L kilometers without any engine problem

    comments on the muffler underneath the bike problem occurs on weather condition... surely the road contains ponds of water and it might enter the muffler box its a major problem...

    • @Gloomshadow100
      @Gloomshadow100 10 років тому +1

      Buell also runs exhaust underneath, its the best place for it. The weight is down low on the bike and you can cannot crush the exhaust if you low-side the bike in a turn. If any water gets into the exhaust, the expanding exhaust gasses just blow the water back out instantly and any water residue is vaporized by the heat inside the muffler. I have been running both of my Buell XB motorcycles for years, never had any problems. From my 30 years of experience I say UNDER the bike is the best place for it as long as you have the room to put the muffler in there.. most bikes that have the exhaust on the side only have it there because there is not enough room under the bike due the ground clearance issues or very big motors..

    ...(contd).. used to feel like huge time and not to forget, every single second you feel your gonna get thrown out from the road, since it would skid! But with ABS, and a very known fact that in USA, the speed on freeways go beyond 140kmph (Approx 90mph), to brake down to 40mph or 30mph(generally when you take an exit from freeway, you need to slow down too quick) is like a cake walk! I respect brands like TVS even more, for making people safe on the road. And not to forget FI is "Good to have"

    The Apache RTR ABS has (as name suggests) ABS. I ride motorcycle in US and once was a proud owner of Pulsar in India. On my experience i would say, having ABS is like having God like powers on road. When you brake, you know your bike is not going to topple over! That is like difference between jumping from a building without bungee rope attached and with bungee rope attached. Often I remember, when I used to brake harsh (out of no choice) on my Pulsar in India, to come down from 110 km... contd.

    yeah .....there is a little vibration and small amount of engine sound....but i think it will be ok after the first service...my first service is not yet done...so iam waitng for that...then there is a problem in the digital dial...it will always show wrong readings and the fuel guage is totally lost....they said they will correct it during the first service...

    Damn this video is so old, i was worried to force myself to buy the newest model to get the handling they were talking about so much haha, i love the design, and i feel that even with a pulsar 180, i won't be satisfied.

    Overall good video..video quality is getting better. The starting is a bit of a drag thou as it takes almost 02.45 minutes to get to the topic. I could get was better handling, better brakes, better looks, better power. Prob you could have put a P220 near it and conveyed the differences in a lil bit more depth! One thing i couldnt get was how could a tyre hugger splash mud all over the rider? Its been put there to do precisely that!
