Hi, Bob! I'm from Bulgaria. I've been learning English for seven months through UA-cam. At the beginning my knowledge in English was almost zero. Firstly I started watching another channels and a week ago I had a lucky chance to find your channel. The level you teach is pretty high for me, but I like your method so, so much and I will do my best to follow you. I have no one to speak with, so I speak English by myself. Thank you so much again!
Hi Daniela. I'm happy you found my channel and I wish you all the best as you continue learning English. I hope the fact that my videos are a little bit of a high level for you actually helps you a lot! Sometimes a challenge is good!

I just wish I can watch your UA-cam videos 20 years ago. I feel I am making a big progress after watching your videos for six months. Now I force myself to watch the videos every day for an hour or 30 mins. I am a computer programmer and write program in computer language. When it comes to speaking, my conversation was not clear enough for people following me. I felt bad. Now I found people know what I am talking better than before. Thank you Bob!
The last thing that I read was a small book last night. The last thing that I watched was your UA-cam video today. The last thing I listened was music, Girl on Fire. I love English, I speak English with my daughter every day. Thank you very much, Bob.
Hi Bob! I´ve been trying to learn English since when I was 30, today I am 56 , so, it´s a long time. lol... But I will never give up! I consider myself as being "B2 level" and, who knows, I can be fluent one day. Since I got retired, I give myself the opportunity to do things that I never had the chance before, cuz of my job and I had to take a good care of my family. Today my kids are adults, I have money and enough time to do whatever I want since: traveling, reading, painting, hiking, etc... I am also studying language at university, yeah, I got into college and hope I can make it right to pursue my dreams . All the best!

Every single day i learn english, read news on cnn/bbc, sometimes i speak english about everything by myself and make a video talking whatever that in my mind. Hi Bob. I am sorry to hear that you feel bad today. Hope you get better soon. I have been in the US for almost 8 years, and I have started learning English since I came here. I was trying to look for a good English teacher who is very fit to a person who lives in a English speaking country and speaks English as a second language like me. I think you are just the right teacher. I started watching your video just a couple weeks ago. You are teaching very useful English words and phrases, i am lucky and very happy to have a teacher like you, it’s a little bit late to know you, though. I currently work for a company, one of automobile supply company in Ohio. The last time I have read and written English was this morning, I read an email from one of our customers and wrote an email to him. The last time I have listened English was early morning today, I am usually listening English while i am driving. The last time that I speak English was yesterday, I spoke English with our manager while we drive back from our warehouse. Speaking English is the weakest part of the my English learning. I tried my hardest but... take care! Jenny

The Last time that I had spoken e English with is my friend, the latest thing that I had listened to is a song called "You are the reason" From Calum Scott 😊and the latest video that I had watched is yours 😍😊lot of love from Laos🇱🇦 ....
A few weeks ago I followed you, and I've started watching this playlist from last video and going to updated ones, I'm very interested to complete watching whole of your videos. Thanks a bunch🙂🙂
I think that one of good way to learn english is to check words on the english-english doctionary. In this way we can learn new words and if we forgot the word we know how to discribe it in easier way. That helped me😀
I haven't taken any english classes and of course english center too. But i love english i'm learning that at home bt myself. My major at college is english and because of corona epidemic recently the school don't open. I need to learn english at home. Everyday i watch some engish videos on UA-cam i don't have any partucular topic just whatever i like. Keep doing this i think it make sense on me.

Hi Bob, Your teaching is great and really really helpful. I have been immigrant to Canada almost 15 years but still struggling with my English, with your teaching, I m able to know Canadians daily life ,cultures, and correct pronunciations of words and how to use these words . Thank you so much for your time and effort for teaching us here.
I am sorry to hear you are not feeling good. You are such a caring and great teacher. You keep teaching us even thought you are not feeling very well. Please get better.
Hi,bob!! I learned English since I was a young girl alone. My father was an officer of merchant Navy...he travelled a Lot around the world and spoke 4 languages...among them English. After his death ,I decided also learn English... I' ve tried to improve my English with different ways...with a variety of videos!! Good channels as your...that help us to learn a good English!! Well done, Bob!!If anyone deserves Thanks,it's you!! Warm kiss from Brazil 🤗🚵
Hi Bob! I always get motivated exactly after watching your videos, sometimes I feel like it's so hard to change my level from intermediate to advanced even though I read different novels, watch TV series and repeat every single words you say exactly with the speed you talk as I have no one to practice with except myself😁thanks for your encouragement 💐🌸
It can be hard Elham to jump up a level (to go from intermediate to advanced) and it sounds like you are a good student and forcing yourself to do that. Great work. Reading a novel is a great way to learn new words because you can see them in their sentences, but I hear you, it can be a real challenge to get through an entire book. I think you are on the right track though to learn English very well! Good work!
Hello , my name is Ahmed I'm froom morroco i've been learning english for 3 months .I feel better myself I take adavantage of your vidéos thanks I hope you get good Luck
I feel progress since I began watch your lessons and I read solid book right now too . thanks a lot Bob, I love your videos because you make video of all important topics in life and show all alive. good luck our best teacher. I know I write my comment much time later than your video upload but hope you be on good health all time.
During the pandemic, all I have to do is learning English. Your heartful teaching helps me a lot. What I recently have read is 'Typhus'(1887), an English version of the short story written by Anton Chekhov. It has a great description of how the patient feels his symptom and how he reacts with people and circumstances. Furthermore, I translated it into my language to share in my community. (My friend gave me proofreading.) I love Anton Chekhov because he has keen eyes to see through human minds. I'm going to keep on reading his various great works. Thank you BoB the Canadian!!
Hi! Learning English is a long and hard path for me! I started about 12 years ago with easy and short lessons for retired people, housewives ecc...but step fu step I never give up to read books or to watch interesting videos on UA-cam. Thank you so much for your help!
Books are one of the best ways to learn a language and I'm glad to hear you are also watching videos. Next step is to find someone who you can speak English with! Good luck! By the way excellent job spending 12 years pursuing this! You are an dedicated person!
Hello Bob.... I'm from Guatemala 🇬🇹 I love all your videos hopefully some day I can meet you, and my favorite video is when you are at the farmer and suddenly start raining and you begun running😁 God bless you Bob you are a great teacher
When I discovered your Channel I really started to get better, because I always see one of the videos several times and that way I can learn a lot. I really appreciate your time, your videos are not boring at all and you always speak very natural. The last thing that I've seen in English is this video. 👍👍👍
Last time I watched your English lessons. You very kind and pleasant teacher. I haven’t some one who I can speak in English with me. I watch you lessons and study English.😊
That is great Firuza. I'm glad you are watching my videos. It would be awesome for you if you could find someone to speak English with when you are ready. Are there any language learning clubs in your city? This is a place where you can go and meet someone who speaks English.
The last thing I watched was your UA-cam video. :) The last thing I read was the history of Palestine occupied territories. The last time I spoke English was yesterday. The last English course was GlobalEnglish The most frustrating thing of learning English is that I forget lot of words. When speaking is really painful. I watch UA-cam in English an average of ten hours per week sometimes 15 hours. The most difficult to learn are phrasal verbs, slang and Idioms. Spanish speakers have difficulties differentiating the sounds of some words such as cut, cat, heat, hit, sheep, cheap, sheet, etc. Pronunciation is really difficult for Spanish speakers. Our tongue is no trained to produce those sounds, it takes lot of time to differentiate those sounds and even more to produce. My motivation to learn English is to get a job in an English speaking country. I have noticed that the older you are the harder to learn. Listening and watching is the best way to me to learn. because it does not require so much effort. I am software engineer and love technology. I watch lot of videos related to that. I find really difficult not to translate in mi head from my mother language to English. Sometimes i have to do it. I think everyone does it. I found that google translate shows phrases with the words that your looking up. It helps a lot because you can find the context where they are used.
The last thing I read is a chapter of English book😁. It has a great content, so I can read whole chapter. Futher more, I watch Ellen's show each day due to the fact that the shows is really funny, it helps me not only learn new phrases, but also entertain me. Recently, I often listen to BBC news regarding corona virus pandamic. I take notes English every day. I joined the online class "Speak English Every Day" last month. I can practice English with other classmates at least 1 hour per day. However I feel it was not enough for me, so I decided I will join the class at least 2 hours per day to speak more. From time to time I feel more confident when speaking English, I think speaking English out loud is really a good point to keep working on it. I watch your video every single day, I learn more new vocabularies, the sound of words that you pronounce and the way you use it in your daily life. In addition, I use an app to correct my pronunciation, mimic, record and practice the words again and again untill I can pronounce it better. Thanks a lot!😄. Have a great day Bob.
The last video I have seen is yours about "how to tell a story in English ". Thank you Bob! Thank you for teaching especially when you are a little sick!take care! Take a good rest also!
Awesome! It is neat that you had the time to watch my last video. I hope that you can tell a little story about yourself in English now with ease. Thanks for watching!
Hey, Bob! I recently found your channel and I was so exiting, because you exposed many wonderful video. Thanks a lot. I lived in USA 3 years and my English is not perfect, therefore your lessons helps my to improve it. You are awesome!
This was when I was 13 years old. Now I am 64. I learn English myself. I read books and translate. I like your lessons very much thank you my dear teacher.
Last night I listened my favourite English radio page Spotlight in English. Thats my daily page to practice English everyday. It was about Falling In Love.
The last thing i read...was foundational gramer....last thingi wrote was an essay...i love you...and make me more brave to practice English...but as most of us...i understand more than i speak
I'm a Brasiliana and, when i watched your videos for the first time, i said: Awesome, how great!!! You teach with context and, when i repeat your vídeos for three or four times, i do not forget the new learned vocabulary. I'm concluding my graduation on University, and the last book i read is A streetcar named desire( Tennessee Williams). The last vídeo that i watched was onde of yours. I' m also a musician, and i m aways listenins and singing musics in english.
It's going absolutely wonderfully. I'm making tremendous progress every day. The last thing that I read in English was a description to one of Kevin and Liza's videos. The last thing that I watched was Rebeca's video about how to talk about one's professional life in English. The last thing that I listened to was Writing with Jenna Moreci's video regarding how to begin the first chapter. The ultimate thing that I wrote in English was a comment to this video. The ultimate time when I spoke English was a few minutes ago to myself, as I don't have anyone to speak to. I did not find an English course, since I am a fan of learning on my own. Sometimes I feel really discouraged; I am not, however, about to give up. Each and every person felt something like this, and to my way of thinking this is absolutely fine. In life, we can feel plenty of things including discouragement, frustration hateness etc; this is not a sign of giving up nonetheless. The best way to learn any language is learning on a regular vases. It does not really matter how long it takes; the main thing is just spending minutes, hours, days, weeks etc. Stuff that has helped me along my way is definitely; Learn English with Kevin and Liza, learn English with Thiago, Learn English with Bob the Canadian, POC English, learn English with Adam, everyday English with John, learn English with Hadar, interactive English, JForest English, and many other UA-cam channels. These are actually resourses that you can use as well as I do. Thank you very much, Bob! Best regards to you and your countries, really, from Ukraine
My goal to learn English is to reading and watch movie without subtitles. And learning process is really on and off. From all the vocabulary memorizing. And listening skills. It's all hard to persist to keep learning when don't really see the results. I found your channel is really helpful 🌱
I've been watching your videos for over a year and they 've been really helpful And by the way I do talk to my self everyday😂 I read books watch moves, youtubers. Fun stuff.....
Hi Bob! For sure your videos are beneficial for me because first of all, I am in a prosses of immigration to Canada and I need to get used to Canadian pronunciation, culture, new words that expend my vocabulary. All this I can find and learn from your video lessons. So thank you so much. I am really happy to see you again day by day Bob. I speak with myself, with my wife and a few students native English speakers. Most of the English staff I read on the internet, youtube channels, reading subtitles sometimes. I feel okay cause I know that study of language might take a quite long time. It's a natural prosses and no need to push yourself too much being in a pressure. This way I can really enjoy my study.
Hi Bob, I am from Turkey. I really find your videos exciting and informative. When it comes to your questions. The last thing I have read is a novel, one thousand splendid suns. The last movie I have seen is beawolf. The person whom I spoke to is on a platform called English ninjas. I subscribed to this page two years ago and still practice. I progressed well and even if making mistakes, I am speaking better than before. Your videos are great help to me in order to learn new vocabulary. The last thing I wrote in English is this comment.🤗I have listened to TRT world news.
Hi, Mr Bob I glad because I m becoming a good in english. I m from Nepal. Your videos got before I was poor in english but When I began to watching your videos I easily understood.
Every word that you've said is knowledge for me. I read the subtitles and hear how to pronounce these phrases. Thank you, my teacher, Bob. Sorry for the bad grammar ☺️😅🙏
Thank you always for your wonderful videos! I am a bus driver, so I often speak in English by myself while I am driving. But sometimes I make mistake and go wrong way. Recently I enjoy watching English educational videos on UA-cam. We can easily find the video which is suitable for individual level and favor. I couldn't imagine that learning English would take so much time before. So I always feel both fun and discourage while learning English. Thank you very much again, always take care!
Yes, UA-cam is awesome. I used it a lot, and still do, to practice my French. It is cool that you are talking to yourself, but I hope you don't go the wrong way too often! Great work!
Hi Bob, I'm doing pretty well with my English. For the first time, I fell really motivated! The last thing I read was last night, it was about a snowboarder who got lost in the backcountry. Every morning when I drink my coffee, I like to watch English video lessons on UA-cam and guess what? You're my favorite teacher! During the evening I like listening to some English podcasts as well. This afternoon I was practicing my speaking with a group of people in my English class and we had a lot of fun though! Every day I try to start my day in English and also just before I fall asleep. I really want to thank you for the great work you're doing on UA-cam, you're helping a lot of people like me!
Bonjour Julien! I assume you speak French? Your name looks really French to me. I'm glad to hear you are also listening to English podcasts. The more you can submerge (go under) yourself in English the better it will be. Thanks for watching and for leaving a comment. By the way I also have another channel right here if you are interested in really short lesson each day: ua-cam.com/channels/mW5tmKIBrryNf5n-_A6Fmw.html One minute English video lessons every week day.
Hi Bob! Yes you're right French is my first language but I'm working really hard to speak more fluently in English. Thanks for the info about your other UA-cam channel, I'm already a new subscriber ;)
Hello Bob! I have learnt my oral English by speaking with foreigners intermittently for a whole year. It helps me to form a more natural accent except for 'th' sound and keep the habit of learning English. But when I talk in English. I still can't stop translating English in my brain especially for unfamiliar words . I find that the most difficult thing in learning English is to expand your vocabulary persistently.
The "th" sound is very hard to say for some people. You can however get better at it with practice. As for the translating in your brain, that can get better by forcing yourself to memorize some key phrases and being ready.
The last thing I read English is a website article, the last thing I watch English video is youtube English video, the last conversation I speak English is with my sister and she just learn English with me. So after so many video watch from yours, I feel more comfortable about my English. So what's ever, at first , listen as mush as I can. Then make it useful in life and job.
You have a great plan! I think that using what you learn in videos as soon as possible with your sister, or in real life really helps you learn it well. Good job!
Hello, Bob, thank you for everything you do for us. Actually it really deserves the respect cuz you're making pretty good videos for everybody who stays with your channel. In general, watching your video is a great way to practice and improve English skills. I sincerely appreciate everything you do and as I said before you're a really good person who helps me out making progress. Thank you again! 🥰😍😇
"Thank you for helping me stay informed and educated."
Thank you sir for your important videos which helps to increase confidence to learn English.
Hai Daniala so do I .I am a housewife only me and husband my son already married and I like learn english too and nobody Around i can talk use english so sometime i only talk to myself it sound like i am insane
The last English I read was the subtitles of Bob the Canadian, the best English learning channel in the world.
I spoke English yesterday at a ZOOM meeting. That was awesome.
I studied just 4 months, afterward I continue to self-taught in my dorm. Every single day i learn english, read news on cnn/bbc, sometimes i speak english about everything by myself and make a video talking whatever that in my mind. Also every day i crying sometimes i’d like to give up. But again, my secret dream is bigger than anything. So that even these tears is so sad i will never stop to study. Thanks for this video makes me motivated. 👍🏼

THANK YOU BOB THE CANADIAN FOR TEACHING ME ENGLISH I AM WATCHING YOUR VIDEOS THREE TIMES A WEEK.
I tried my hardest but... take care! Jenny

Hi Bob,
Your teaching is great and really really helpful.
Good work!
@@LearnEnglishwithBobtheCanadian Thanks again, I'll do my best to improve my English through excellent ways you mentioned 💐🌸🌹
I'm just the same!
Hello , my name is Ahmed I'm froom morroco i've been learning english for 3 months .I feel better myself I take adavantage of your vidéos thanks I hope you get good Luck

Hello,Bob. I'm watching and learning Enlish your video. You are the greatest teacher.
Thanks for watching and welcome to the channel! 🙂
The last thing I read was the history of Palestine occupied territories.
The last time I spoke English was yesterday.
The last English course was GlobalEnglish
The most frustrating thing of learning English is that I forget lot of words.
Hello bob Kent the 🇯🇵Osakanese here! Ive been learning eng from ur videos. I like ur “the great White North”English!

You are very welcome Firuza. I admire you! The fact that you are learning English at age 64 is amazing! Nice work!
Hi Bob. I was excited about your video. Always supporting you make more new video for everyone. Thank u so much.
Wow! Hard book to read! Nice work!
@@LearnEnglishwithBobtheCanadian I dont believe you answered my coment! I m feeling honored and glad. I Thank you for note my coment and answer it.
You are so good person and teacher. Thank you a lot.
I'm glad I can help! 😎
I've been watching your videos for over a year and they 've been really helpful
And by the way I do talk to my self everyday😂
I read books watch moves, youtubers.
Hi Bob,
I am from Turkey.
Hi teacher Bob I'm from Laos I always watching your videos you teach very well, thanks for your teaching 😊😊
Every word that you've said is knowledge for me. I read the subtitles and hear how to pronounce these phrases. Thank you, my teacher, Bob. Sorry for the bad grammar ☺️😅🙏
I have lernt a Lot whit your videos and suggestions. Thanks so much Bob!
Good job!
Thank you Bob.
