In this winter season of December 2019- January 2020. we have no snow in the North-west of Russia (Saint-Petersburg). The snow has appeared only recently, in February 2020, but over several days the snow has melted and the temperature is about 5 degrees of Celcius above zero. It is not usual for our region but many of us are glad when it is warm.
