Correction on M203 sights. The sight on top is called a leaf sight and the sight that mounts on the side of the M16/M4 portion is the quadrant sight. The leaf sight was okay for close range, direct fire. The quadrant sight is needed for indirect fire and longer range use, it's also more accurate in my experience. Some of your viewers took exception when I said that I was impressed by the 203/quadrant sight combo, many videos ago, but I stand by my impressions from using it.

It doesn't surprise me that the only time the show Sons of Guns is brought up in 2020 is in reference to them breaking a historically important grenade launcher lmao
@@MandolinMagi ya know i tried looking it up and I couldn't find any info on the gun itself, however the show had a really dark ending. It was a goofy show about making weird gun ideas (like quad mounted ARs on a truck for no reason, that type of thing). But the lead host of the show was arrested back in 2017. He had been found guilty of raping two little girls aged 11 to 13 and was convicted to 40 years on top of a double life sentence. It was really surprising when it happened obviously, but it was very upsetting because he hosted the show with his adult daughter, who came forward and divulged terrible details about the man her father was. Overall a very wildly dramatic ending to a generally boring show.
It was a bad show for gun owners but it got a few guys I know into guns so I guess it was as much a curse as a blessing. I get that, though. You accidentally slam-fire a shotgun, you have a ray of destruction from the point of the barrel. You accidentally slam-fire a grenade and you have a ball of explosive destruction that's going to bounce around _somewhere_ before it releases its ire, very possibly near you and yours

french here, i started watching your videos recently and being from a country where guns are basically seen as evil things, i didn't knew a thing about them and i'm honestly impressed at all the history and background each firearm have (especially the ones made during wartime, it's amazing to see how they created guns that were at the same time cheap, easy and quick to produce while being reliable enough that you can still shoot them to this day), and it's a pleasure to learn all of that from someone that seems really passionate about this subject

Having never watched the show, what happened with them and the China Lake

Loved these ever since I first heard of them. Designing a grenade launcher like a shotgun is such an amazing and innovative idea. These things are even cooler using the mp-apres 40mm rounds. Then they basically are just a big shotgun. H3VR lets you experience just how cool using one is, especially with the apres shells.
You mentioned that gunner could get third round fired before first one hit target.Believe it or not we were once able to do that with the M79.Took some work with someone else handing gunner the loads, plus firing at max range on a safe firing range, but we did it.First round hit just as third round was fried

If you’re referring to the TF2 grenade launcher, I believe that it originally did have 6 grenades with 36 in reserve.
Then promptly discovered how overpowered and broken that was, so cut down the capacity to 4 and the reloads to 16.
