I truly believe that it took them longer to cover it than it took him to initially blast it.
That is really insane now that I think about it. When I watched it originally I was like “yeah they covered the perimeter”. Now I’m like “they COVERED the PERIMETER”
they didn't just cover the perimeter, they terraformed, planted trees, and bonemealed the ground.

You know what could have been worse? If instead of growing the trees, they hand placed the leaves, while still making the them look like normal minecraft trees

Probably Lava casting the inside of the perimeter like @Paulthored mentioned.
I didn't have the heart to point this out before the season was scheduled to end... but!
It would've been rather simple to at least partially fill in the Perimeter.
Lava & Water buckets produce Cobblestone, after all.

@@Paulthored I like all the parties involved, and IIRC, Grian said the terraforming was it. He wasn't going to carry it on any farther, no matter what Docm came up with.

Back during the Chicken Flood Occupation of the Perimeter...
I was wondering about Armor Stand's.
Specifically if two things were true.
One: Frost Walker Boots trigger whilst on a Armor Stand.
Two: Do Chickens in Minecraft, treat Seeds/Wheat held by Armor Stands the same way that they treat Player held items?
The idea was that given how many chickens were there, they would've constantly triggered the Frost Walker Boots...
Leading to their spread and multiplication, out on the Water covered parts of the Perimeter.
If it worked, it would additionally be somewhat awkward to deal with... due to the Armor Stand providing the solid blocks, and if there's insufficient Chickens crowding the Stand, it then stops moving.
Of course... that's assuming it all works.
Even just unloading the chunk, might've nixed it in its entirety.
That said... if it worked... Snow Golem's would be able to cover the ice...

its a youtube series made for the entertainment of the viewers at the end of the day, im sure hermits are open to the possibility of these kinds of things when they sign up. and im also sure doc was asked beforehand.
Doc sent flying machines loaded with TNT at their bases, they actively partake in prank wars that can include just about anything. Theyve said it many times- if its in a video, everyone involved was fine with it. Get over yourself.
