In case this is confusing:
The visuals are from doc's s9 (credit at top left of video). The german audio, however, was from doc's s6 (credit at top left of video).
The accurate german translation to English is written as smaller subtitles (coincidentally looked like YT's subtitles). The bigger subtitles in CAPS are MY subtitles, usually containing easter eggs, parodies, jokes, commentaries etc :D

Ich als Schweizer kann ihn ziemlich gut verstehen, da Bayrisch ein süddeutscher Dialekt- und somit dem Schweizerdeutsch recht ähnlich ist. Ausserdem ist mein Opa aus Bayern.

edit: just checked the video, he was speaking in a southern bavarian dialect
@@Ketch0up_ southern Bavaria is correct. Mittelfranken, to be exact (middle franconia). The second I watched this video, I was like damn… how did I never notice it sooner lol (fellow Franke here) 😅
@@nadinevazquez8355 Because according to the internet, he's not really from Franken but from Baden-Württemberg, so he's actually usually speaking Schwäbisch, but he was imitating the dialect :D

He did say he was explicitely using a heavy southern Bavarian dialect (In that original video).
as a german even I needed to read the subtitles for some phrases.
many south/west dialects are basically a different language to a baltic fischkopp like me. more like saxon nowadays
I am really wondering where doc is from, because I speak the dialect, but it sounded sometimes a bit off (like fake)

@@mor7223Ja. Kaum verständlich wenn man nur Hochdeutsch kann. Die Sprachbariere in den Niederlanden oder der Schweiz ist kaum größer.
Als Sachsen-Anhaltiner war das sehr hart für mich gerade 😂 Andererseits, sächsisch ist deutlich schlimmer. Und es ist Docm, ihm sei also verziehen...
It took me quite a while to realize that the voiceover was from the Season 6 episode (Which I just watched today by the way), because I haven't seen Doc's _actual_ Empires crossover video, so I was completely cleueless. Funny how well that clip and voice go together... Or probably that's just because I don't know the slightest bit of German.
I also haven’t watched Doc’s Season Nine or Season Six for that matter so I thought this was totally real.
Been learning german (down in saxony) and weirdly i got quite a bit more of what he was saying that i expected. I must admit it took a few seconds for me to be convinced it was still doc as the voice changes a fair bit between the languages/years

As a dane who speaks german. The Bayerische-tourist-thing was so amazing. Even with a few Bayerische Motoren Werke references thrown in - like a true cliché of an Old less bavarian tourist in a Strange land.
Because I speak some Dutch, I love when I pick up on the odd word from Doc's sentences.
Just a thought, figured it might lead to content... Has anyone ever tried cross sectioning a displaced nether portal inside of an end portal frame? I wonder if it would break the game or allow direct nether to end transport...

As someone who does not speak nor understand German, I can not confirm that he is speaking a Bavian dialect or not.
As a Bavarian I can confirm it is a Bavarian dialect
The dialect itself is middle franconian, I had a blast watching this lol
