  • Here's a BTS video from a recent shoot with the gorgeous Jemma. We were going for a Daisy Duke inspired, country vibe to this shoot and instead of using just natural light, I wanted to use location flash with High Speed Sync. I chose the Godox AD1200 due to it having more power than I knew I would need and a huge battery capacity so it wouldn't run out of juice.
All shots were captured on my Fujifilm X-H2 with the Fujifilm XF50-140mm f2.8 lens. Only minor edits were done in Lightroom Classic to the images shown in the video.
Big thanks to Craig for the drone footage and for helping carry the gear on location.

Chewing on a bit of that dead grass would have made a great prop/shot in the second location.

This shoot has inspired me. I’ve been eyeballing the ad1200 and the XF 50-140 for my X-H2. The model and location were perfect in showcasing your setup 🔥🔥🔥. Now I just have to figure out how I can get any of this without the wife questioning the cost 😅

Ha ha! Good luck with that mate! I can highly recommend all of that kit though. I absolutely love my X-H2 and the AD1200 Pro.
