Our tanks were really good in category of light tanks, because germany builded their light tank as machinegun carriage(Pz. 1) and then just changed tower(Pz.2), while our tanks have been build for the sole purpose of engagement with enemy armor. What we have been missing is proper equipment in them. Germans had radios in theri tanks for better field communication. While our tanks had colored flags to signalize between each other. Also our tactics were outdated. While germans used their tanks as independent, concentrated force to crush enemy resistance, our tanks would have been used as infantry support.
I honestly think if Czechoslovakia decided to fight, they would have actually humiliated the Nazis. Germany took a really big risk trying to demand the Sudetenland while like half of its around 45 (about 27-28) divisions weren't even fully equipped vs the fully supplied 38 Czechoslovak divisions. Quick addition to what he says in the begining. Bohemia was the Heartland of Austro-Hungarian Industry and Agriculture. Like as soon as ww1 ended and austria and lost its territory Anschluss was already considered, by the liberals and socialdemocrats btw, because it was thought that it would have no survivability. They even had a little famine, because they were used to having bohemias overflow of agrar products and also got their ressources most important of them coal from them. But it was kinda exaggerated since Austria had everything they needed to overcome the struggles that came with the loss of Bohemia, they just never cared to produce the stuff they collect from their subjects themselves. They had the space to feed a population as big as switzerlands but no agriculture for examle.

I was trying to get the Munich Disagreement achievement, but with Romanian help I managed to pull so many Germans off the border with France that the Allies just marched straight into Munich after Germany declared war on Poland, and since I wasn't in the Allies I couldn't just ask for control of the state 😞. WW2 was over in 1941 (could have even been late 1940), and Italy didn't even join the Axis. I annexed most of east Germany and puppeted Austria. Anyway then things got a bit crazy; Italy and Yugoslavia tried to take on the Allies by themselves... Soviets started WW3 over Poland...

I actually won the game as Czechoslovakia in Allies twice, both tries with simillar strategy; For a focuses, just get Beacon of liberty tree, balanced czecho-slovak industry and sudetenland final fortifications. Build 5 lvl forts in Zaolzie, get strategic decisions, but not trust in the west until munich agreement! This is super important, if you don't take this focus, Romania will still guarantee you by the time of Munich Agreement and after your refusal, they will fight with you and join Allies instead of Axis later = less enemies for you! If you have lvl 7 fortifications in Sudetenland, Germans almost never attack you here. Just focus on building lvl 2-3 forts on borders with Poland and Hungary. than take the focuses, which adds 2-3 lvls of forts there. Build an army, 48 divisions on the beginning should be fine, I was able to make it with 3 infantry armies (72 divions in total, 9 infantry + 1 artillery, support artillery, support anti-air and engineers, mot. recon is optional) with Grand battle plan doctrine in total. Get ready to get attacked mostly from hungarian territory after they join Axis, it needs some micro but it's not that hard to defend all your starting regions. After Germans declare on USSR, just wait until they bleed out and have small number of divisions on your front, upgrade one, maybe two of your armies to classic 14/4s, then start grinding slowly towards Berlin, Munich, Koln... I got 10 % participation, annexed Silesia, made a lot of democratic puppets and made Czechoslovakia big and stronk in late 1942. Zdravim všechny!
