@@shazmosushi I mean, most non internet people should understand what the 1960's spiderman TV show was. In infinity War he's in his teens, then on PS4 he's in his mid twenty's, then in this film he's a middle aged man. Its like I experienced Spider-Man grow throughout this year. Amazing

DrMonkeyBoyJr Nah, Peter is the original and spiderverse (and spiderman ps4) are the only reasons miles is likable. His comics are not very good and everything else is just done wrong. This movie actually made him interesting
That thing you mentioned about Tobey, here's a fun fact. In Brazil, the same voice actor who dubbed Tobey Maguire in the Raimi movies dubs Peter in this movie. So, in a way, Brazilians got the original spiderman actor as Peter Parker here.
"Where is that wind coming from? We're in a basement." "Wherever I go the wind follows.." Nicolas Cage was the perfect choice for Spider-Man Noir. All his lines were gold.
I agree that movie would’ve been better served if Noir, Ham, and Penni had more skin in the game emotionally, but I think thematically the movie would be way less impactful without them. They show how versatile you can be and still be a capable hero. They reinforce the movie’s message that everybody is unique and valuable, and what makes them such good spider-men is that they’ve embraced their quirks and are unafraid to be themselves. They are great role models for Miles. Dramatically, they also ramp up the pressure on Miles to become the spider man they need him to be. The fact that Miles disappoints not two, but five spider-men, five of his peers, is way more emotionally intense than just two.
I see what you mean. Penni doesn't have powers but is a genius and is a master with the power suit. Ham isn't serious or focus, he's cartoony and silly but he still fights. But Noir is tricky to figure out.
I also felt that they had a really interesting tie into Miles's character when *[ S P O I L E R A L E R T ]* Aaron Davis died, and the other Spider-Men found out and explained to Miles that they, too, had failed to save valuable people in their lives as well. For Peni, it was her father. For Gwen, it was her best friend. And for Peter 🅱, of course, it was his uncle. They all could have been left as throwaway expositional lines for when they each had their own little character introductions, but Aaron having died just earlier was what really solidified the theme of "Anyone can be Spider-Man, even you" for me. No matter who or what these people lost in their superhero struggles, they got back up and fought again because they were FRICCIN' SPIDER-MEN.
Penni is just annoying. Her voice is grating, her spider-mech is just, at this point, an over-played character in the movie, and her style is just... too neon. The whole movie color scheme is neon, but done so in a way that it doesn't overload your eyes with bright colors.
@@DarkFalconTBA06 It was different yes, and it wouldn't be as bad if she just made a cameo or something similar, but having her through-out the whole movie, in my opinion, didn't really serve any purpose other than humor. The part where she was making the 'goober' could've been done by one of the Spider-Men, since most Peters have technical prowess, and her voice is just... But I can see the appeal, though.
Peter B. Parker has not forgotten how to be Spiderman... Thats an easy misconception... Watch him closely... He's great at the spidering he's bad at the maning... He thwips with the best of them... He's just disengaged because of the depression you mention... Carry on
Yello Duzzit Not too literally. He just haven’t been spidey for a bit since you know, depressing. However, when he goes back, he knows what he’s doing at least. You know how you forget something but then you see something and you’re like “wait, I remember!”. It’s kind of like that
Yello Duzzit I don’t mean stop as in “I’m quitting. Goodbye”. I mean like “I haven’t done this In a while. Let’s see if I still have the moves with this kid”
Yeah i thought he was meant to be the best/most exp Spiderman. The relationship being the superstar who after his peak+ personal life lost his way and the new rookie to inspire him
Also he's afraid to have kids Morales showed him that there's nothing to be afraid of And Peter B Parker gave Morales the confidence to be himself, to be spiderman
Couldn't agree more regarding the inclusion of the other Spiders- they were fun additions but you could probably cut them from the script entirely for a leaner affair. That being said they brought some of the funniest lines and the movie wouldn't be the same without them. Nice video!
I'd say that there are two main purposes they serve in the film. (aside from comedic relief, as has been mentioned) Firstly, to further drive the point home that ANYONE can be Spider-Man. You can be anyone of any gender of any race from any place and still be a hero. I think their inclusion is worth it to help further send that message, even if it is definitely apparent enough through Miles's journey. Secondly, I believe that they bring a much needed variety to the action scenes. They could've just had Peter, Gwen, and Miles go up against Kingpin's men and it would've been fine, but I do think that the inclusion of these characters who fight in such drastically different ways breaks up what could've been a potentially monotonous final battle. And both of those are very minor reasons. You could easily rectify these with some minor script rewrites, and the film would be left practically unchanged.
Those characters are like the toppings on a pizza. They're not really there for much except for a little flavoring. They're still pretty good god damn characters. They work well in this film.
Jino Lim To that I say, you’re missing the point of who they are, they’re not just the toppings, they’re the sauce under the cheese. They work BEST with the others, because without them, it doesn’t feel as good. They represent a theme of togetherness, as Peni states “it’s good to know we’re not alone” sure Gwen and Peter B would be enough, but Peni, Ham and Noir emphasize that idea even further. The other spider characters being taken out isn’t helping the film, it takes away what the movie is trying to emphasize, that ANYONE can be Spider-man, and that tragedy, like **Spoilers** What happened to Miles’s uncle when he gets shot and the other spider characters confess what happened to their loved ones show that they’re more then comedy, they’re more than showing off animation styles. These are characters who have had things happen to them, they admit how hard it is to be spider-man, and show, that sometimes, it is better to be with those who know what it’s like to have this burden.
Even if Noir, Peni and Porker aren't really NEEDED I would NOT, EVER, dare take them out. They help emphasize the message (You could wear the mask). It shows how different you can be from Peter, you could be an anime futuristic girl, a noir, dark hero or even a fucking pig. YOU CAN BE A HERO because what makes you different, it's what makes you Spider-man.
@DrMonkeyBoyJr Like the og comment said, they pushes the massage of the film even further: ANYONE CAN WEAR THE MASK. And the film is called "Into the spider-verse"
I agree They use those 3 as a example of the peter b parker's message (i exclude spider-gwen but im not saying she's not one) Big credit to peter b parker (and chris pine's)
Because he's passionate as people should be when they give a shit. Just like Netflix Daredevil Season 1-3. Near - perfection. With the exception of season 2 being subpar. But still better than most garbage tv today. That speaks volumes.
I'm basically as critical as HiTop FIlms because I give a shit too. It's a good asset even if you look like an asshole. I accept nothing less than quality. Life is too short for any garbage and shit that makes your IQ drop.
One of my favorite things that ITSV flipped the script on was the whole "Young kid needs a father figure despite having a good father figure already" thing: Miles didn't need a father figure in the form of Peter B. Parker, Peter B. Parker needed a son figure.
@@pradipsinhrana7319 While it pales in comparison to the other 3 it was still a pretty enjoyable movie, I mean any scene with Venom and Eddie talking to each other was gold.
I was never a big fan Morales, but this film sold me on him. They make him a unique character (not Peter Parker 2.0) and give him his own motivations. He's just a young teen who wants to be a normal kid but is constantly being forced to live up to his parents expectations even before he gets his powers. And then once he gets his powers he has a whole new set of expectations dumped on him as he promises the dying Peter Parker that he'll save the city even though he has no clue how to use his powers. This film is all about Myles learning how to meet expectations but more importantly how to be himself while meeting those expectations. I'm so glad they were able to make Myles a compelling character in this movie. It's just one of the many things it gets so right.
@Jordan Richardson it's the spider suit tbh. His comics spider suit was literally black spider man. In the movie he was his own spider man that graffiti symbol was without a doubt the best choice for him its unique and particular to miles. Hell even his style of web swinging was different. Say what you want but the way he was introduced in this movie from his hairstyle to presentation of his family was dramatically improved compared to the comics. This Miles is my canon miles
@Jordan Richardson which one Peter B parker or Ultimate Parker? And fair point with the difference in color and scheme but after seeing the design from this movie I cant help but compare the two. If I'm being honest it's the Hoodie shorts and Jordan's combo that worked for me it's so Brooklyn I cannot fathom how comic artists never opened with that.
BattleUp Saber I am a huge Spidey fan, but I didn’t get the feels once during these three. It’s like it’s almost there... but falls flat for some reason. It’s weird man.
XOVO I get that. But I think it’s the thing that I should cry when he dies - I just get pissed off since I know they want to replace Peter with Miles. Felt the same way when I read the ultimate comics and they killed Parker. Never got the whole ”we have to kill the hero to care”-thing. I feel way more emotional when he tries to refuse Aunt May giving him money och telling her he is responsible about Ben getting killed in Spider-Man 2 for example.
Christian Björck thats weird i have never felt so many different emotions during a video game as with ending 10 minutes of spiderman ps4 and same thing with the whole 3rd act of into the spiderverse. That final battle of into the spiderverse i was tearin up but still smiled through it
MrZampo The end there was a bit rubbish I think. No way he would give up on May to save others, she is like his mom - don’t even think Superman who is much more the type to put others first would do that. And again, it’s the ”a character has to die”-thing. And then he’s back at it again as if nothing happend.
Spider-Man Noir doesn't add anything to the movie: "Sometimes when I light a match I let the fire burn to my fingertips just so I can feel something, anyting." Oh yeah and it's Nicolas Cage America's sweetheart you bastard!
Seeing that moment where Peter (in Miles universe) realizes he is no longer alone, that their's someone else with spider powers, that he can teach and possibly let him take over the mantle, which meant he can have a normal life with MJ without worrying the next person he has to save, and then just dies with all that hope gone was actually really heart breaking. Like shit think I actually had a tear drop and it even surpassed Peter (not so) death in the ultimate universe. But I still loved how he kept getting up till the very end.
Idk if it was just me, but despite only seeing a few minutes of Peter Parker (from Miles' universe), I really did wish that his inevitable death wouldn't come. I especially felt this way after his small conversation with Miles. Furthermore, seeing how well his life as Spider-Man was going, it really makes you wish it could just stay that way because you never see a Spider-Man have it this good. There's always a catch to a happy Spider-Man, for this one, it was freaking *dying.*
@@thatemeraldguy4585 technically his death there is even worse as he was a teen and his life was starting to turn around (in a good way) and this peter still had a Gwen Stacy
Miles: You don't understand it's my fault Gwen: Trust me, we're the only ones who do understand. That line clinched it for me. This is my favorite spider-man movie.
My dad totally dislikes superhero films. He always has. But when I asked him what his favorite film was, Into The Spiderverse was his answer. That’s how good of a film this is.
It’s so amazing. I never thought a animated movie would be so mature and rich especially a spider man story that gets pretty comic-booky, it had me intrigued since there start and is one of my favorite animated super hero movies.
You doing homecoming dirty, ain't nothing gonna be able to compete with spider verse. I think homecoming did a fine job doing what it intended to do, no more no less
It's sad really it feels like everyone forgets about Logan and that movie is probably the closest a movie has come to being my favorite, not favorite comic book movie, favorite movie period
I was surprised they killed Mile’s universe’s Spider-Man but I also liked that they did. A lot of people glossed over Spidey’s death when talking about the movie, but it was kinda a big deal to me. Also I really liked Spider Gwen and Peter B. Parker.
Cap'n Kush the reason why miles becomes spiderman is because of peters death. He felt responsible for peters death because he didn’t do anything to stop it both in the comics and in this movie. He felt he could’ve intervened and helped prevent the death of spiderman but he didn’t which gives him the guilt peter had when uncle Ben died. The ps4 universe however is taking a different turn on this, I’m not too sure if peter will die in that universe. Miles had a different adaption in the game and movie but still shares similar elements to the comics. Which is why people love that, not alot of people adore comic miles. People like movie miles better.
This is probably my favorite Spider-Man movie ever. I love everything about it. The animation, the story, the characters, the consequences etc. works together beautifully. It's my favorite Spider-Man movie and my favorite animated movie because everything about it works.
Great soundtrack, great plot, great consequences. Miles puts 5 Spidermen in danger of dying due to the fact that he broke a USB drive by mistake. Even that small accident had consequences unlike Homecoming where they couldn't put any real consequences at all
Into the Spider-Verse is 10x’s better than Homecoming. Best Spideys of the 21st century: Spider-Man 2, Spectacular Spider-Man, PS4’s Spider-Man, and Into the Spider-Verse.
Marcel X10 Oh “cause of nostalgia” you say? That’s a blanket statement for all fans of Raimi’s Spidey. Never considered fans ACTUALLY LIKING his Spidey films for how he brought Spidey to the big screen? “Cringy as hell” you say? Well, thank you for understanding without realizing it. Peter’s jokes aren’t always killers. He’s also an awkward and innocent kid which Stan Lee wanted and Tobey captured. Holland didn’t capture the awkwardness as much as the innocence. And by the way, Tobey was funny as Spidey too. It just wasn’t written into the films enough. To name a few...E.g., in the first Spidey film: Bone-Saw: What’re ya doin’ up there?! Peter: Staying away from you. That’s a cute outfit. Did your husband give it to you? With Jameson: J. Jonah: Spider-Man! I knew you two were in this together! I- *Spidey webs up his mouth* Pete: Hey, kiddo! Let mom & dad talk for a minute, will ya?” In Spider-Man 2, Doc Ock throws a coin bag at Spidey, he webs it up and throws it back at Doc Ock and yells: “Here’s your change!”
Here are some things 1. This is one of the greatest animations ever 2. This is one of the greatest movies ever 3. This movie inspired me to do more 4. This movie, Lord of the Rings Avengers: Endgame Are the greatest movies ever made IMO
Honestly, I love the whole throwaway line in the movie where, after Peter B. Parker gives a ton of advice to Miles that he doesn't understand, Peter says "Then stop listening to me" Way to sum up the whole film in a throwaway joke line, movie. I actually like that
Into the spider-verse was honestly fucking amazing, legit am considering going back and seeing it a second time Also can we talk about that post-credit scene
One of the best scenes was he was taking “the leap of faith” because the reason the glass broke was i think he was still nervous, scared to take that leap but still he did it which connected to me😂
Dude, perfect analysis. THIS IS THE DIRECTION SONY NEEDS TO GO. Wanna make a sinister 6 movie, copy this model. Wanna make a Symbiote universe, copy this model. This should be the Sony Spider-Man universe direction going forward. Stop doing live action, you haven’t done it well in over 10 years...
Fun fact: In the brazillian portuguese dub of Spider-Man: Into the Spiderverse, Peter B. Parker is actually dubbed by the same person who dubbed Tobey Maguire's Spider-Man.
"And Spider-Man is a person who always overcomes those fears and gets. Back. Up." This sentence with the Score of Marvel's Spider-Man, especially that bit, in the background...perfectly timed Another awesome video Alex, you really have made one perfect essay after another in the last few months
@@themadtitan7603 The Spider-Man PS4 theme makes everything better and more impactful. Haven't seen the film yet (comes out December 20th here) but I'm sure that is what I'll be thinking of during more than half of the shots this movie has from the looks of it
Love your vids. Just a comment on your one nitpick of the film, that Noir, Peni, and Ham didn't have to be there. I agree that for the most part, they didn't have to be there. But it didn't feel like they were shoehorned in, because it fit one of the movie's themes; That anyone can wear the mask. The number and variety of Spiders helped drive home the diversity of characters that could take the mantle. It was trying to drive home that Spider-Man, while a hero, is not above us; he could be any of us. Just my way of explaining their inclusion, and you're right; they were all enjoyable and funny in their small parts
Douglas Chuong well said . I posted a comment similar to this . I thought they were a welcome addition and necessary to the plot since you know the whole collider opening up the multiverse. How would the movie have been with just Peter B and Gwen ?
Thanks Alex like actually ,life never goes my way but this video made me remember of my favorite super hero and why he’s my favorite super and now I’m filled with joy
I saw ITSV with my best friend in theaters, and I haven’t had that much fun in a theater since the both of us saw Iron Man 2 and flipped out when the Iron Bros took on all of Whiplash’s Iron Knockoffs. ITSV though? *Nah.* We didn’t just flip out. We screamed, we laughed, we cheered, we fist bumped, and we walked out of the theater regretful that the experience was over. ITSV is the best thing to happen to Spider-Man, since Marvel’s Spider-Man. Both of which have breathed new life into a franchise that was simply going through the motions for the longest time. 💯
I am so happy. Sony finally risked a movie since Spider-Man (2002). It was super fun. I personally think that it is my favourite animated movie since...like ever! It is my New favouite Spider-Man no Hero Movie! Easily a 10/10 movie. Mils is such a dick in the Comics but I love him here. Peter is also relatable what we didn't have since Spider-Man 2
I loved this film so much. The visuals, the music (OMFG THE MUSIC!), the heart and the fact that it gets the point of spider-man. ANYONE CAN BE SPIDER-MAN! Not just Peter Mc- I am the only spiderman, i'm gonna take my mask off at the end of every film to show only I am spiderman- Parker!
Yesterday I discovered you and watched 5-6 of your vids (over 1 hour), I was like meeting a friend who's likes are like mine. Keep doing what you do bro, good job
What makes you DIFFERENT is what makes you Spider-Man is a line which hits hard the idea that life is going to hit us hard in DIFFERENT ways but the drive to keep pushing forward no matter what and making the right and sometimes the bad ones along the way is what makes Spider-Man special and so relatable
You do realize that Holland is gonna have a 3rd solo movie, and then most likely at least 2 more after that? Plus all the team up movies he will be in? The MCU has already perfectly made a young Spider-Man, and now they are gonna build him up over the next 7+ years and we are gonna get to see him grow. He is going to be the absolute best Spider-Man within a few years, if he isnt already
Rainmaker23 I agree with everything you said, Tom is my favourite it’s just by “real Spider-Man” I mean more like a solo character who is more mature, I also use the 7 plus years things a lot in defending Tom cause people don’t view homecoming as part of the Mcu
Zaq Kickasola i misspoke (mistyped?) I meant people don’t view homecoming as apart of a cinematic universe in its concept, like look at the development from Iron Man to IW for Stark, marvel wanna do that for Spider-Man but everyone wants 8 years into career Spider-Man instantly
@I’m gonna put some dirt in your eye I hear you, I really so. However, I disagree that they dont understand the character. When they acquired Spidey to use in their movies, they made it very clear that they were making their movie different from the others because they didn't want the audience to become fatigued from getting the same movies year after year. Homecoming is my favorite MCU movie and I love how they turned it into a teen comedy, but I do understand your complaints about Uncle Ben not being mentioned. I think they will do it in the future, they really emphasized that they were skipping the traditional origin story in Homecoming
Awesome review! This film gave me so much nostalgia for Sam Raimi's Spiderman films and I was literally close to tears at the beginning and when visiting Aunt May's house. This is honestly the first spiderman film I have loved since the Raimi franchise and felt so invested in every character! Especially Gwen because I didn't care for her at all in the amazing spiderman franchise.
Only just watched it. This movie is a fucking fantastic movie. Literally has 5 characters arcs for 5 distinctive characters. Miles is the best spider we have had on screen since spiderman 2. Also one of the most visually stunning movies I’ve ever seen. It’s perfectly structured into 3 acts and emotional.
I absolutely loved Spiderverse. Best Spider-Man film imo, because of its heart, stylistic choices, writing and acting. Also the "camera" work and the way it is directed is so freaking good. I never make review videos (working on science videos and short films both on my channel and elsewhere [Youreverydayentertainment]), but I may just have to make a video discussing this film as almost a reply to this. Great job HiTop
Not to mention, we just need more great animations like this! Animation hasn’t been getting the respect it deserves here in America for a while. This style was new, experimental, took a lot of passion and effort to pull of, and it worked. It worked REALLY WELL! Other studios need to take notes.
When you said you liked or even loved Venom (even admitting it was bad) and didn’t feel Homecoming was a good Spider-Man movie I was skeptical of your reviews but we agree so strongly on Daredevil I’m gonna give you the benefit of the doubt.
@@goodgamesir1750 no its not I agree but it's not as bad as this guy makes it out to be. but to be fair he's more of a spider man 1 and 2 fanboy then anything and thinks marvel movies are lame. so its hard to take this guy seriously half the time lol
@@CynthiaTestarossa Yet he praised tons of MCU films. Did you watch his past videos? Also, he didn't say Homecoming was a bad film, it was a bad Spiderman film. And I agree. It doesn't make it bad, just doesn't feel like what Spiderman would be.
This movie is a great example of what I like to call the "Therapy Rule," which is that so many of the movie's problems could have been avoided if the characters (i.e. Kingpin or Middle-Aged Spidey) had gotten psychological help prior to the movie's events. That being said, I absolutely adore this movie. Good black superheroes, like good Spiderman movie's, are few and far between. It was also nice to see a character that grew up in my dad's hometown! The movie portrays it so, so accurately.
I love tom holland but incredibly hate mcu's take on his spiderman. He always feels like a second rate hero next to bigger heroes like ironman and captain america. While in this movie, there are better spidermans than miles but once he got his groove going he's a hero who can stand with the best of them. But of course his buildup was harsh and believable too. Tom holland's spiderman can't compare yet to top heroes and the buildup and developement from 3 movies still makes him feel underprepared and yet to be "amazing".
in the comics, peter is ridiculously OP. he has to hold back to prevent from killing anybody because of his sheer strength. he could easily take on captain america, and iron man, maybe even hulk, especially if he is allowed to use gadgets since stark himself is a gadget.
psychedelicgoofball he's already like 3 years into spiderman at least by the time far from home starts, so hopefully they don't use that "but he's young and new" excuse
You're complaining about Holland's Spider-Man being 2nd rate to Iron Man and Cap when Spidey has been in 3 movies and Iron Man and Cap have been in at least 6 each? Unlike every other Spider-Man film (other than Spiderverse), the MCU is actually developing him over time. You seem to forget that in some of Spidey's first comic issues, he lost to a good amount of his villains. He almost quit after losing to Doc Ock
This film is original, funny, well written and full of heart. Firstly the animation is mind blowing. There were several moments in this film when the choices in animation made me gasp out loud. The style resembles a comic book, with "pop-art printing" effects, thought bubbles, appearing onomatopoeias and gorgeous colours. The colour design in this film is phenomenal. Believe me when I say that my words can not express how visually stunning this animation is. The film is really well written: there is great use of intelligent, self aware and side-spitting humour- I must have looked crazy because I was laughing so hard. The film has a really nice story, that builds up its stakes and characters as the story develops; the film doesn't worry about being too dark, as it deals with death and brief elements of grief. All the characters are funny and understandable with (mostly) realistic motivations. The film deals with themes like expectations and what it really means to be a hero; the themes are made all the more significant when placed in comparison to the late, great, Stan Lee. However the film has a few very minor flaws: one flaw I noticed was the main Villian, King Pin; he was threatening, but I would have preferred him, and his motives, to be just slightly more developed. Another flaw was a moment just at the start of the final act, I felt it should have taken slightly longer as the character achieved something way too easily. But apart from that- This is the best Spiderman film. Seriously go check it out! It's really special and not to be missed; also it has one of the greatest after-credits scenes ever! 94/100
no mention for the soundtrack? like, whats up danger?! *punintended for real this movie have it all.. from the animation to voice actor to story to soundtrack.. everything is memorable
The “What’s Up Danger” scene is currently my favorite scene in any movie ever. Never have I felt so much emotion while watching a film, let alone an animated one. I really hope that they don’t fuck up the sequel and that’s it’s at least comparable to this film. I don’t thing this needs a sequel but I’ll accept it if it’s good.

I also felt that they had a really interesting tie into Miles's character when
*[ S P O I L E R A L E R T ]*
Aaron Davis died, and the other Spider-Men found out and explained to Miles that they, too, had failed to save valuable people in their lives as well.
@@the_katzy It's a very anime-ish style. Definitely not for everyone, but I thought it was really cool and different
It’s kind of like that
@@itsmario2024 i dont think he ever stopped being spiderman, tho... He just didnt love it as much
Yello Duzzit I don’t mean stop as in “I’m quitting. Goodbye”. I mean like “I haven’t done this In a while. Let’s see if I still have the moves with this kid”
Yeah i thought he was meant to be the best/most exp Spiderman. The relationship being the superstar who after his peak+ personal life lost his way and the new rookie to inspire him
Also he's afraid to have kids
Morales showed him that there's nothing to be afraid of
And Peter B Parker gave Morales the confidence to be himself, to be spiderman

Couldn't agree more regarding the inclusion of the other Spiders- they were fun additions but you could probably cut them from the script entirely for a leaner affair. That being said they brought some of the funniest lines and the movie wouldn't be the same without them. Nice video!
I also agree. The main 3 Spideys were Miles, Peter, and Gwen anyway.
I'd say that there are two main purposes they serve in the film. (aside from comedic relief, as has been mentioned)
Firstly, to further drive the point home that ANYONE can be Spider-Man.
The other spider characters being taken out isn’t helping the film, it takes away what the movie is trying to emphasize, that ANYONE can be Spider-man, and that tragedy, like
**Spoilers**
What happened to Miles’s uncle when he gets shot and the other spider characters confess what happened to their loved ones show that they’re more then comedy, they’re more than showing off animation styles. These are characters who have had things happen to them, they admit how hard it is to be spider-man, and show, that sometimes, it is better to be with those who know what it’s like to have this burden.
@@onefairyfan87 mmm cheese, sauce, toppings PIZZA MANIFEST IN ME NOW
Even if Noir, Peni and Porker aren't really NEEDED I would NOT, EVER, dare take them out. They help emphasize the message (You could wear the mask). It shows how different you can be from Peter, you could be an anime futuristic girl, a noir, dark hero or even a fucking pig. YOU CAN BE A HERO because what makes you different, it's what makes you Spider-man.
This comment made me chuckle.
I agree, but the way you wrote it was humorous.
@DrMonkeyBoyJr Yeah, they didn't need to be there, they were pretty much only comic relief. But they were enjoyable editions
@DrMonkeyBoyJr Like the og comment said, they pushes the massage of the film even further: ANYONE CAN WEAR THE MASK.
And the film is called "Into the spider-verse"

@Jordan Richardson
He was just black Peter Parker in the comics. He's much better in this movie.
@Jordan Richardson but in the comics his traits and persona is very similar to peters lmao
@@drpingpongs2593 But he's not though. Like not even a little bit

Christian Björck seeing Peter dead on the news hit me (verse). Then right after that we see stan talking about him
XOVO I get that.
Spider-Man Noir doesn't add anything to the movie:
"Sometimes when I light a match I let the fire burn to my fingertips just so I can feel something, anyting."

Well being Spider-Man you have to understand that you can never have it too good something bad always happens and to blondie it was death 😢
I think if he survived he would've became Peter B Parker eventually

I was surprised they killed Mile’s universe’s Spider-Man but I also liked that they did. A lot of people glossed over Spidey’s death when talking about the movie, but it was kinda a big deal to me. Also I really liked Spider Gwen and Peter B. Parker.
Because miles spiderman died in comics
Cap'n Kush but peter from Miles universe dies like almost always because that is the reason Miles becomes spidey, because he wants to avenge Peter

@Shahed Miah I know, and James Jonah Jameson is on the end credits scene on Into the Spiderverse
Have you seen that scene?
I guess part of being a “perfect” Spider-Man, like the blonde peter, is having no JJJ calling him out for everything he does
I cried when Miles’ Peter died cuz I can’t stand to watch my hero die
As a black mexican spidey fan, I had never cried so hard in a Spider-Man movie.
Watched the beginning, skipped ahead, and I'm back.
Hoping to take my 4 1/2 year old to it this weekend.
You need a big break dude your great at what you do, sorry AMAZING
Not to mention, we just need more great animations like this! Animation hasn’t been getting the respect it deserves here in America for a while. This style was new, experimental, took a lot of passion and effort to pull of, and it worked. It worked REALLY WELL! Other studios need to take notes.
I legitimately smiled watching this idk it was just a really good video
When you said you liked or even loved Venom (even admitting it was bad) and didn’t feel Homecoming was a good Spider-Man movie I was skeptical of your reviews but we agree so strongly on Daredevil I’m gonna give you the benefit of the doubt.
It's his opinion tho. Homecoming isn't everything dude.
@@CynthiaTestarossa Not taking him seriously because your a diehard MCU fan is your problem.
It’s cool bc he said Daredevil is the best. Ever. And it is. So we good. All love here
Hope he can do more with spider Man. He boosted my fandom of Spider-Man
I also loved the movie
Honestly I think spider-ham, noir, and penni are outcasts just because not many people have ever heard of their characters before the movie.
Penni Parker was stupid. She's not even a real Spider-person. They should have gotten Manga Spider-man if they wanted to do the anime style.
The first movie with a meme that was relevant at the time and was actually funny and not cringy.
You are right, but remember, Spiderman is a 16 year old in Homecoming. We won't probably see him at peak strength and ability until his 3rd mcu movie.

*punintended
for real this movie have it all.. from the animation to voice actor to story to soundtrack.. everything is memorable
Hell yea! I trust your Spider-Man love, ima see that movie tonight!
The “What’s Up Danger” scene is currently my favorite scene in any movie ever. Never have I felt so much emotion while watching a film, let alone an animated one. I really hope that they don’t fuck up the sequel and that’s it’s at least comparable to this film. I don’t thing this needs a sequel but I’ll accept it if it’s good.
can we talk about how they finally got a nicolas cage role right. like you always hear about Nicolas’s roles either being over the top or too little, but this one feels right
