Riff Raff is super cool. I made a design for him and he ended up wearing it on Vice and on the front of a magazine. It really boosted my art and confidence in doing art! I met him in person before that and he is just like you would think.

Bruh i dont even listen to hip hop/rap much(although i do have a sincere appreciation for it) but i consider Riff a national treasure, like Johnny Cash, Tom Waits, MF Doom, Quincy Jones, etc. He is sincere, intelligent, humble, and always 100% himself, no matter the circumstances. As an alcoholic with 4 years sober who is STILL trying to get back in touch with my authentic creative voice in sobriety, I feel for Theo here. Not only is it uncomfortable hearing someone talk about your drug of choice as a recovering addict, but it’s more bothersome when they’re glorifying it and claiming how effective it is for people’s creative process. I know Diplo’s just storytelling for entertainment, but it was insensitive and out of place.
