The low scoring bout came down to who could go on a run and hold down the lead. Rancho Verde led by Trestyne Nguru with 16 points ( 7 in the 4th quarter) opened up a bit of a cushion late in the game and held on. Asher Schroeder was a force for Jesuit scoring 24 points also claiming All Tournament honors. Nguru made the All Tournament team for Rancho Verde while teammate Semaj Carter took home the Diamond Tournament MVP award.
