  • This is a full independent review of the Di Lusso R5 range, we test the stoves real world performance in:
    Clean glass
    Fuel economy
    Ease of lighting
    And controlling
I also give my views and a bit of background information. The videos are designed to be quick with only the key information, but you are welcome to ask questions in the comments.
We are a little independent channel that started doing this purely for a love of the industry. Over time it has become "what we do", and we have been fortunate enough to cover our costs and make living. This is achieved through:
Manufacturers sending us stoves, that they allow us to keep.
Some paid work, making videos for UA-cam or a manufacturers own website.
Your views and the ad revenue generated.
and our little shop here on UA-cam.
Thank you so much to all of you for your support!!!
If you would like any further information about the stove or us please feel free to drop me a comment or you check can out the manufacturers page here:

Great review guys, the viewing screen size is awesome, just sent this review over to my brother to look at, seems a great option for his room size 👍🏻

Lovely stove and a great temperature range it seems to cover. Great review as usual. Though would probably overcook me 😂 🔥

If you’re after more than 5KW, then its a great option. If you need 5, then yes definitely a bit too far.

@TheTortoise would you recommend this burner to heat up a big surface area? Wondering how do I calculate what kW log burner I would need for my open floor plan space? (Open plan space is "L" shaped and is roughly 8m x 6m). Please could you provide me some guidance, thank you I love the videos, keep them coming!

Hi Gabriel. Any chance of testing a Dunsley stove at some point? Cheers

Yea I’d be keen to try one. I have spoken to them once, but I have to admit I’ve never followed it through as projects have kept on coming through. I’ll definitely get to one though!

What size room is the R5 in?
    Thank you.

My place is far from modern and efficient, but it’s a 9x3.5m room, with stone floors, several doors off it, and French doors too. Definitely a gave us plenty of power, but it was nice and easy to control too, so it wasn’t a problem.

      @@TheTortoise Thank you for answer.
Have a smallish room with an inset R4.
Was wondering to change to the R5 as it would negate having to feed it with logs every 1/2 hr.
      Your thoughts....?
I do not have an o/s air flow.
      Thank you.

You should be able to get a longer burn, out of the R4 with the right technique. If however it’s burning fast because you need the power, then yes the R5 will easily solve that 👍
