I have a 22’ ultimate and the bottom corners of windshield are a poor seal. I bought some 1/4” thick rubber foam and stuck to the bottom seal on cab and that helped. Driving in the winter before I did that I passed a truck on the road and snow blew up into my face.

    • @americandream_89

The 22 ultimate we got didn’t leak at all. Our 19 ultimate you couldn’t drive in the rain without being soaked inside. You might check your seal or window adjustment. Maybe it needs adjusted. I’m not sure 🤔 it seems like luck.

Can am just looks more roomy on the inside and windshield not right up in your face. Both look like great machines but your reviews def help in the decision making. The only thing I wish can am had led headlights and synthetic rope like the ranger with remote for winch but being comfortable outweighs all of that

Thinking of buying a side-by-side with full cabin, and I’m leaning toward the Can Am Defender. The only thing is that I wish Can Am would have an option for bigger tires (the standard 27-inch ones are too small).

    • @americandream_89

You can install 30” tires no problem. The defender will take up to 30” without rub. If you look at my other videos I have one with 30” on it. Then resale factory tires for 450-500 makes for a cheap upgrade.

If money isn’t a option rockzillas are the best for woods and Rocky trails. Not the best road tires. Make sure if you get rockzillas you do not get the super soft compound or the road will eat them up in a minute.

You should do a comparison video on changing the oil and transmission fluid on the two vehicles. I have owned both Rangers and Defenders, and I prefer the Can-Ams, but changing the oil on the Limited is not easy. I don't know what the engineers at BRP were thinking.

    • @americandream_89

I think they run out of room in that space on defender. The rangers motor comes in under the back seat and has a access hole which makes it easy. But louder in the cab. I’m with you on the oil change for the defender it’s such a pain.
