Look at Richards face when Jeremy says that's a rental car..!! Absolutely funny!!!
+Anna Kalotidou Setup but yes.
James' face when they destroy his artwork is also excellent
at least not scripted, script would be obvious
It actually is scripted funny enough, the car doesn't even exist on the MOT database.
Right
Never noticed that
Should've been made into a bit
James' one was actually pretty good.
Dyskit until jezza and hammond ruined it
So was Richard's.....until it fell in a lake
Jeremy’s one was nice ..
Dont worry Jezza is on job
pinky and perky was really a jerk there lol

“I value your opinion immensely...
...I won’t necessarily pay any attention to it.”
“Good.”
Love how Rupert just took it in stride.
of course he would, i bet thousands of people have disagreed with his opinions and were verbal about it, probably worse than how jeremy reacted
he didn't say immensely. But I have to say this is my favorite Jeremy Clarkson quote...
Hammond's Bob Ross impression: Nailed it. And priceless.
Oof
6:10 James was almost crying 😢
"More compost than art", 6 years later, a literal banana gaffa taped on wall sold for $120000.
@@user-ru1eq7tw4y bruh its kinda genius I mean its obviously ploy for money laundering
Or that the art world is used for money laundering.
van Gogh only sold 1 painting. All of the great artists are ridiculed before their time comes.
@ZoeQuinnIsAMurderer That's not what money laundering is.
And some guy literally ate it.
The horse painting on the car trunk was actually pretty good
Jack Woltz: aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa
"Some say he has a MASSIVE chin and he does, because he's David Coulthard" :P
Some say he has a different type of blue balls & that DC won't give him mouth to mouth. All we know is that he's called Jeremy Clarkson
some say he once hit clarkson's plum
All we know is that it's not the Stig, it's the Stig's Scottish cousin
@@saberracer026 Coulthard is now a commentator in F1
Not at the jay Leno level tho XD
When the face fell down jame genuinely looked like he was going to cry
You know its an act. Its scripted
@@Didier-Drogba1337 yes yes mr know it all we all know there are scripted elements to the show but you are no more informed than us on this particular piece. james has never been a great actor and pulling of thinly veiled expressions of genuine upset or embarrassment are things not even professional actors can achieve convincingly. the sensible approach to this bit would be he probably did build the piece, was proud of it and was upset it was broken
@@03056932 thank you I hate when people say they scripted stuff like this. You really can't srcipt something like this. You make a plan and work off of that which is tl what top gear is really.
Silas Mayes Thats not what he said, the show is scripted but james emotions maybe wasnt is basically what he said.
@@Didier-Drogba1337 bet your fun to hang out with
How many people can say they've been hit in the nuts by paintballs shot from an F1 car?
+ridcom Shot from an F1 car by David Coulthard.
Not I. But I would volunteer for it just to be near an F1 car.
ridcom i
Yeah unfortunately, unless I have something fundamentally wrong, shooting paintballs through an air intake and out of the exhaust would mean it would've gone through the engine. Not possible. Plus the paintballs came out of the side of the car, not the left and right where the exhaust tips are.
1, Jeremy Clarkson.
@6:38 I like how the art guy says “good” when Jeremy says he won’t pay any attention to his opinion. Spoken like a true artist 😂
This clip has give me some ideas in what to do for my project at university.
I might do a stylised painting of a Tesla Model 3 or Porsche Taycan.
2:12 I thought he was going to make his art by drifting while leaving those black lines
Money Account and making an asian 11
Wow. Hammond is great at drawing.
Kev he was painting
was an art student
Was at art college before he started radio
Yeah it was actually quite sad when it fell in cos his was the only one other than a little bit of mays that was actually really good and skillful and required talent
@@TheShadowFellan well that's the point of top gear. All three of them are pretty damn competent, but for the sake of comedy they decide to muck it all up in the end. Ambitious, but rubbish. I will say that shtick got a little old in the Grand Tour but it's still damn entertaining.
"You sprayed my helmet!"
"You shot one of my testic-- OH that helmet?"
Clarkson taped to a chair: "This is like a scene in Reservoir Dogs." Hammond holding a plasma cutter: "Don't give us any ideas." ;-p
May’s sculpture was rather good, quite a nice piece of vernacular art.
Hammond: were going to paint the inside of the car on the outside
Jeremy: red for the blood
2:20 ‘My plums!’ XD
6:12 I'm sorry but James actually produced something that worked artistically. Then is got destroyed by Hammond and Clarkson...
You know its scripted. Its all an act
My brother would seriously hurt them after this
A child could have made this using bits and pieces of something he tore apart. It's not inspired, it was a heap of junk with elements mimicking a face.
@@Didier-Drogba1337 it isn't completely scripted and anyone who can make a script this random is a God. They make a plan and then when something (not if) they adapt. You can plan a car ploblem.
No.
I love how the art dealer, at the start, is very dismissive and more just humouring James UNTIL he starts talking about his influences and what sort of angle he was going in, at which point the dealer actually comes around and truly considers this sculpture for a moment. A little tragic it got pushed over.
I find it rather annoying that you "need to be influenced" by something to be even given time to consideration.. just shows that everything is irrelevant till it goes mainstream.. and this guy gets paid just for reading books about who created what famous art to compare it to whatever new comes out.. instead it just speaks for itself that judge has no creativity or relevance in opinion in itself.
“Is there anything here that catches your eye”
“No”
“Does that one work”
“No”
“Is this no good”
“No”
“Does it work on any level for you”
“No”
“Does it have artistic merit”
“No”
“So all of this is terrible”
“Well frankly yes”
if clarkson had commentated over himself he would've said
*IN THE PLUMS*
I can hear it lol
I would have loved to see the F1 car under black light. Has it been shown later on that show?
Stryke no cos it caught on fire while Jeremy tried to drive it there lol
Alex Qerreti He's talking about the F1 car not the art car with the horse's head on it, Yes it was shown in on the show.
my mistake qq
yes
yah
Top Gear: A show about 3 middle age men failing and bullying each other
you will always be childish, no matter how old you are
ARB6769 when has James May ever successfully bullied anyone?
I mean not anymore.
It's a beautiful thing. LoL
So true
3:28 i quiet like Jeremy's , its simple but still colorful i feel like the concept itself has potential
Who else thinks the purple audi R8 painting at 6:29 is dope AF?
I can help!
You can't do this with a hammer! lol
James is a comedic genius
David "Will you edit that spin out?"
Jeremy "Yes yes i will edit it out"
David " You promise?"
Jeremy "....:" TROLL LOL
6:14 that shot killed me xD
The music that plays when Richard's painting really sells it
In the plums !
6:09 James Sad :(
I would straight away punch Richard and Jeremy
ACCELERATION face number 1.
Evodocturine29 B-)
Hamster's face at the end hahahaha
Hamster?
-.-
"OH I SEE THAT HELMET" hahahaa . oh clarkson
It's performance art. It has streaks in a living way.
Season 14, episode 5.
Vladpryde thx a lot
Vladpryde Thanks!
You good person
Cheers
Hero
That silk cut Jag looks awesome! How can he say that’s not art!
7:22 - How do you know that isn't a horse's head in the car? made my day.
"AHHHH, my plumps!!!". Gotta love that statemate allong with "How hard can it be?"
5:57 - 6:08 This is why these 3 are national treasures!
James at 7:12 always gets me LMAO
The paintballs on aluminum looked dope in the studio!
0:30 Jezza describes modern art too a tee
I can literally see the gears turning in Richards head 🤣
I give James May’s statue a 10/10 for his unique inspiration.
3:26
R.I.P
Richard Hammond’s Painting
2013-2013
thats not his painting though...
Really, it should say 2009-2009 as this episode aired in 2009.
@@joshbacon8241 And therefore it was filmed in 2008, so it should be 2008-2008. What's really scary is that this was, as of August 2020, 12 years ago.
“Plane of light just bouncing off here, and then work it in, work it in”
‘Sploosh’
"Oh I see, that helmet" - Jeremy Clarkson 😂 (4:28)
Whoever went to see the art exhibition, were soooo lucky 🎨🍀🎉👌
7:58 that face is art
6:05 Richards "WOOW!" Gets me everytime.
07:22 How come he said that he can't paint before!?
The bit about the horses head was the funniest XD!
I wanted to see the aerodynamic lines in the UV
Yeah what the fukk
Clearly it didn't work and they didn't want to show it
@@6sicSIX 1 year late but why didn’t you just, I don’t know, watch the episode?
@@ajcF1 I did lol, not sure what your point is.
@@6sicSIX I think he meant the whole episode. Not the "best moment" on YT
@@ffwrudeAh right, assumed they didn't include it in the clips after talking about it because it didn't work. Looks nice 👍
Rupert did an awesome job playing along
It's so sad james if you look carefully at him you can see tears as they break his art
The look on James face 😂he was genuinely sad and disappointed after they push down his sculpture😂
7:58 You can see the horror in Richard's face.
You know its scripted?
@@Didier-Drogba1337 oh crikey, it's the fun rozzers!
That was a genius plan getting Plato in to judge the art.
Amazing footage. Thank you for sharing. Top quality
Richard’s “wow” when he lifted it back 😂😂😂
Art snobs always reject cars....the rest of the world recognizes that they can in fact be art.
Alfa Romeo's are art. Theyre designed to be beautiful and have no function.
except they look like a dyslexic man´s face
@@mateussantos152 lmaooo 🤣🤣🤣 I read that in Clarkson's voice.
@HelpMe not to mention it an endless money pit waiting to happen
HelpMe I respect your right to an opinion but Alfas are as pretty as the sun rising over Charlize Theron. End of story.
All cars are art. Because an artist had to draw it and then build a sculpture of it
I died at the end
would've been alot easier if they bought a *Citroen SM*. But yeah, this show was suppose to be ridiculous, so they're not going for it.
'Clearly this isn't human' :D fantastic part of this episode with the worst paiting ever, laughed so hard about that bit :D
I recognized the art critic at an exhibition at Saatchi and asked him whether he actually liked James May’s sculpture and he said no and that it was all rubbish.
"I'm not giving him mouth-to-mouth, that's for sure." Man I'm dead.
am I the only one who feels bad for Hammond when the painting fell in the water?
If you look closely, the painting that fell is different from what he painted moments before.
@@sailor7537 chances are it was staged so the good painting would have been displayed somewhere else I wonder if the Astra was a indeed a hire car as it would have been 5 years old at the time of filming so would have been a bit old for a hire car
When he says that’s a rental car 😂😂😂
"Work it in , work it in"
*board just falls
Had to google it but yeah, seems so. Perfect for the summer!
theres something so nostalgic about the sounds of the old v10 f1’s. old school nothing like todays
Watching TG is like watching an action film. You have to disconnect yourself from reality (just a little bit) otherwise it's no fun.
4:46 that Jaguar Painting is in my house!
Poor James, he looked like he was going to cry when they broke his sculpture.
and it was good wasnt it. So you know you went ahead and gave it a thumbs up:) Uk just does it right!
"it is triggered to fire at 5,000 rmp" *proceeds to rev it to 15k rpm
6:02 His reaction tho 😂😂😂🔰
5:56 ahhh
I unironically love james May's sculpture. Like a big smiling old geiser with glasses and a big nose
When i grow older, i wanna be like these 3.
Hammonds face at the end is just priceless ;D
7:28 I was wondering if they will repair the car with Flex Tape
Nah, Fiber Fix should do the trick.
*T H A T'S A L O T O F D A M A G E*
I love these blokes
3:20 That looks like he just bought that for the joke, but if he didn't I feel so bad for him. D:
UK Version, thank you TopGear channel
5:10 Some say that guys look bit like Alan Pardew
RealAshtonArmy exactly like him
This is why Top Gear UK is the best Top Gear.
Pretty cool of the Red Bull team to let the Top Gear team use their car
"Can you edit the spin?"
"YES"
😂😂😂
Pretty perfect piece :)) I love these men because they are really fun .
James may in an Australian accent "can you tell what it is yet" 👀😂😂😂
Priceless moment when Jeremy gets hits in the gentlemen area.
Song playing when Hamster is painting is 2 Atoms in a Molecule by Noah and the Whale
"You can't do this with a hammer." LMAO!
“Can we edit the spin out” yes! “You promise” 🤣
I wanted to see the f1ultra violet photo
All that car art is pretty good.
I love how they always keep a straight face when telling jokes
