Man thank you! The update was insane and the internet was dry for tutorials lol. Need that sample tutorial ASAP! Thanks for what you do 👊🏽
So far, this is the _ONLY_ competent, intensive instructional support-video for those absolutely new to Akai, and this unit’s workflow... literally the only decent video on the entire internet about starting from scratch. Even Akai has less than 20 videos for the Force, and they are all poorly realized, missing something major, anti-linear, etc. Thanks for a great job OP.
You make probably the best video training out there; your style is so laid back and your tone is great. Thanks for making those videos.
Dead ass the most concise tutorial for new owners that I’ve seen and I’ve seen them all. Thank you for this.
Thank you for this. I've been owning a Force for a while but not long after I initially got it I put it away to come back to it another time because I couldn't fix my brain to figuring out the Force at the time. I recently did some reorganizing, cleared a spot for my Force, hooked it up, found this video, and now I'm finally beginning to understand the Force. This is the Akai Force for Dummies Like Me tutorial that I needed. Salute to you Ave! ✌🏽
Your Right, You can't Rush into some things. Reorganise!
Just got my force today and this was a heaven sent. Super digestible
how many time did you watch this? three here. So far, my brain cells are lagging badly this year!
this is the best tutorial i have seen yet ,even though its a different genre than i'm used to, there is a lot to learn here
You can do all sorts of genres with this even rock music
Add me on ur channel I’ll like to see u do more music videos
Really great tutorial. Moved over from an MPC Live 2 so already knew a few things but I like you just went through a simple workflow and didn't get side tracked. Really helped me to get to grips with the Force really quickly. You earned yourself another subscriber!
Thank you so much I need an " AKAI Force for Dummys " book. Thank you for doing this and more in the future. Wish I could see the screens a little closer or clearer.
I just got my Akai Force - I know you did this a few years ago but I had to shout you out for covering a TON of features to get people started in an informative and efficient way! ✨👌🏾
i rarely comment on videos, but seriously, thank you for making this man! you're a really good teacher, this was so easy and fun to follow along with
Very good step by step instructions for beginner like me. I have watched others' tutorial but just like demonstrations and assumed the watchers knew everything of Force already.
we watch almost all here and average then compute for clarity and application....hehehe
Thanks so much for this great introductory tutorial to the force. Your work is greatly appreciated, and I hope you continue to produce more instructions for the force, or of the MCP if you use those.
Bro! Thanks soo much for this. Please keep making awesome tutorial vids. You're the bomb 💣
First things first the beat is 🔥🔥🔥. I enjoyed this video and how you explained everything, The Force is dope, I haven’t been off of mine yet since receiving it almost two weeks ago. Looking forward to your future Force videos!
Best video yet , I’ve been surfing all day trying to figure this thing out...
Just waiting for my new Force to arrive. This tutorial is exactly what I needed to get up and running. Very clear, excellent work.
I imagine we will be happy with this, even when a newer model comes out. I am getting a little bored upgrading the treadmill of synthesis and audio, maybe I am hitting 'even keel'.
I haven't had the chance to do your tutorial yet but I will be next week when I start my holidays, I've noticed with the akia force that theirs 5 main areas that the Force has, 1. The Sampler 2. The Sequencer 3. The Synthesisers 4. Control Face 5.The Arranger or DAW
Learning each one till you know really well is what I think will help everyone.
Great tutorial to start with, to get those music juices running, keep up the great work
Bro, 2 days looking at stuff online. This 1 vid helped a lot
We are way up north on an Indian Res and I rely on these demos more than many can imagine! Walmart was a 650 mile round trip and a decent music store 2 states away. I ordered this because I was pretty certain a decent music video would come to my attention, like this one. I am looking forward to a sampling video and maybe an external MIDI example. I need to hook a lot of gear intp this and see how that goes! Thanks, excellent stuff here. Stay safe!
Yeah you got the best machines in the industry
love your excitement and detailed info
Best ever lesson for beginners i saw, thank you maestro!
Hey Brother! I have ordered one, and maybe they'll deliver it today instead of Monday! I can't wait!!!!! Woehaaaaaa I cranked up my USB port, with a too tight cable....but I managed to send it back and get my money back, so I have ordered another one in another store hehehehehehe!
@Ave Mcree; Great job on the tutorial. I am an MPC user and MV-8800 user and just got the Force recently. The Force is another animal all together. This video was helpful. Keep up the good work.

Nice.You explained very well.Start to finish.Perfect.

Yes, I have this now and also a SQUID sequencer I am quite puzzled about sometimes. Not very flexible yet....
Great video! Thank you, definitely going to work towards picking one up, and watching more of your videos, informative, fun, funny, and slapping

You explained it very well... I was making beats and arranging them in minutes...Thank you Thank You Thank You!!!...LOL!
I had to revisit this video because after not using my Akai force for about 6 months I had to learn it again. Thank you for providing a tutorial that allowed me to gain common sense of this machine

my pleasure
@@AveMcree You are a pretty good teacher and you connect really well with us. Amazing you took the time to assist the EDM and Urban community
I'm scared of the Force , lol ! but thanks to your tutorials I'm a little less gun shy about owning one , you are one unique individual. Thank you for making this an enjoyable watch , I would like to see a beginners series on Force that takes one through all the simple things , you know ? .....like" What to try and accomplish first " . your so good at what you do I would purchase a set of video tutorials from you . You ought to consider writing the Bible on this .I picked up a lot of info. from this one, I even laughed (and Im not sure I fully understood why ), please keep making more Force video's and thank you !
Great instruction video!
Great video! Deciding between this and the 61.
Awesome video fam. I got mines last week because of watching your video review after the update. The pads remind of push 1 just upside down. Mighty coincidental that it’s called the Force. They laid the foundation if there ever is a Push3 stand alone. As for now this is my baby.
Outstanding video!
Great descriptive video bro
AYYYY! Thank a million Ave!
cool tutorial. thinking about buying one of these. long time mpc user, but this looks pretty sick
Excelente explicación y con alegría !
Thanks mate severely appreciated
My pleasure
Thank you for this ✊🏿👑
my pleasure
We need more akai force videos 🙏🏾
Appreciate this Video Ave..1love
Thank you so much!
ur the man!
Thanks man!!! I got a force before I knew about mpc and I was about to trade it in for mpc live 2. I may give it a shot now. Thanks
Great Video
Thank you 🙏
Great video, thanks. Just wish there was a way you could fix your lighting so we could see the screen better. But other then that, love how you explain everything. You are a real pro. Keep the videos coming about this great instrument.👍
Perfect.
Good vid. A sampling tutorial would be dope
This is the best tutorial I've watched thus far' well done.
I'm looking to to find a tutorial that illustrates creating clips of odd mis-matched lengths then performing with them live, letting the clips loop and evolve over time. I'm also wondering if one can relaunch a clip before it reaches it's end.
good vid, subscribed. cheers!
Mine hasn't arrived yet, but you taught me already how to make my first song.
Dope!
This thing is perfect
Perfection is in the eye of the beholder they say. I like what I am seeing in this Akai Force. Bet the next version is called "FORGE" or some close derivative. Personally, I like the authoritative word FORCE but then again, I am military connected.
😁 lerning with You! Thx
Thank you! I really like how you broke everything down.
I'm looking forward to your sampling video! I'm hoping to also see one on midi multi and the ways to take advantage of that for recording and performing. Please and thanks!
thanks for watching those videos will be done soon
@@AveMcree Maybe chop Kraftwork up and make us a free stem or three? =) let the begging begin!
@@AveMcree can I use the force as a abelton live controller too? I had bought a mpc one a week to buying the force . I didnt even know it existed 😔 I was looking at the live 2 for more mobility. Saw the force on Sweetwater and was like what the hell? Had to have it.
Thanks !
I appreciate this so much
No problem
I just bought it 9 days ago and I'd be lost without your videos man
didnt know this thing was that good, time to buy one!
Before the economy tanks and they cost 3k again. like they tried to a t first. Today, I would pay 3k.
thank youuuuuuuuuuuu!!!!!
Great video again thanks. Can you tell me how to set ‘overdub’ in arranger mode? Thanks.
I've always had Akai and Alesis drum machines, but no MPC's, and it def feels familiar that way, but I feel like the Novation Circuit Tracks I started again in last year really got me ready for this too
brilliant! huge help, you make it look so easy 😜 how do i get midi clips into the force when it doesn't come with mpc software? is there an easy way? cheers
Hey Ave, nice tutorials .. could you by chance make a video about Sends and Returns with the effects and assigning them to the Macros , also explaing the difference between the Submixes etc !
Awesome video! Grading the video color for more saturation would be incredible.
Thanks man sometimes you play toooo much but you was on point this tutorial/lesson can you display some editing techniques copy pasting audio moving them in different places using the editing tools I’d like to see that in your style of teaching thanks fam Love the Content!!!!
In the 70s we called this righteous , man.
Also would love to see how aditional added audio tracks in arrangement view works. For example if I wanted to add a riser or a reverse sample to my arrangement without using sampler, is that possible? Thanks!
GREAT TUTORIAL!!
COUPLE OF QUESTIONS :
HOW CAN I SEE THE TITLE OF THE PROJECT WHILE HAVE IT OPEN?
HOW CAN IMPORT CORRECTLY MY ABLETON LIVE PROJECT ON MY MACBOOK into Akai force
HOW CAN I RECORD THE LIVE SESSION LIKE LIVE SHOWS
THX!!!
Yo thank you for this video and all your videos awesome tips and content. I love my force at least it doesn’t have as many glitches as the maschine plus does. 🧱 great paperweight though. But good looking on the videos. Stay safe Godspeed
Haha my pleasure
The workflow of the Akai force was intimidating at first but once you learn the basis. It’s a lot easier to explore on your own
Thank you for this bro !! I’m brand new to force and this helped a tonne , I was just wondering , as my force came with the old firmware , I obviously updated it to 3.0.5. Do I have to also do all of the previous updates or are they all included into 3.0.5 - I’m sorry if that seems like a stupid question
Just one 3.0.5 firmware update is ok.
It's good, your good, just subbed and thunbs up... My suggestive criticism is you should play a good length sample of your finished product at around the very start of the video, and then at the end play the whole track, or prety much the whole track. I considered clicking away from your vid many time bacause I didn't know what the final composition was, and just got bogged with tech. details. In summation: Tech details good, songs good too. 😋
Bien verg good animo con alegrías..
You the shit Bro👊🏽👊🏽👊🏽🧨🔥🔥I’m definitely getting the Force this weekend. Aye next time you do a video on the Force, do a Boom Bap style beat. I’m little tired of that trap shit😌🤣. Question......the cross fader, Do you think you could hook that to your turn table? Last thing.....how do change the colors of the pads.... I might figure that out by the time I get the Force. Them colors are throwing me off on everyone youtube channel. You broke the video tutorial down better than everyone.
the crossfader is a cool thing that needs work. If you plug up a turntable to "scratch". The fader curve is too soft for that type of style. However it does work for mixing other hardware gear.
@@AveMcree thanks 🙏🏽. Also I was wondering if I import wave files inside the clips, Does that count as a audio file, Because I know they said it’s limited to 8 audio tracks.
Great job, your a good teacher. Can you please do a video making a deep house track. Thank you.
Detroit techno for the win
Can you make one on looping and if you can use a external pedal to switch the scenes? For example if you are live playing with a guitar and you can’t use your hands? Thanks!!!
Curious if you have a preference on Force vs Live 2 for the Akai drum kit + hardware synths to sequence/record. Do you find either one easier workflow wise?
How do you change tempo say first 4 bars at 80bpm then say my bridge needs to drop to 75for 4 bars then bring back rest of song at 80bpm again??? Thank you for your time knowledge & help!.
