I truly admire how you and our husband still have your original consoles and games from childhood. It shows just how much you cherished them. I wish I could go back in time and tell my younger self to do the same :(
I worked at a Video Ezy store for over 6 years, and I definitely remember those shelves. The best way to display and store vhs and later DVD. Awesome setup.
Wow. A fantastic collection and one that is definitely worth displaying. You’ve done a fantastic job with your game room; it looks amazing. It must bring you such joy spending your time in there. Thanks for sharing it with us.
Thanks mate. It does bring a lot of joy - bot just for us but our family & friends. It's become our hub for family gatherings. Thank you for watching and commenting
Haven’t finished the vid yet but I just had to take a moment to acknowledge Pepsiman! I had no idea that was even a thing, it’s so ridiculous and I’m obsessed. Learn something new everyday I guess. Also your room is so cool it’s clear you and your husband have a true love for games and preserving the history while also using them for their intended purpose and allowing them to bring you joy. So many collectors are all about the preservation and getting things just to have them and not so much about actually using them for fun which is the whole reason the games exist in the first place. Thanks for sharing!
Thank you so much for your lovely comment. I know RIGHT Pepsi Man is by far the coolest game I've learnt about in the past 5 or so years. Bloody love the game. We definitely love games and wish to preserve but we understand the importance of enjoying what you own. It's great to come in here and chill out - just enjoying every piece! Have a wonderful day
This is Way Better then Disney World and Game stop. I am Really loving your Game Room 💯 I Wish I Can Come over and Shop. I am Big Fan of Tomb Raider games Even the classic Ones. and Yes I have PS2 Slim it silver.
Hi I loved every minute of your gaming room tour. You have a very impressive collection and I really enjoy you explaining all the hard work that you do to make your collection so cool!! Greetings from Puerto Rico.
As a gamer and a retro collector myself, this is by far the best collection I've seen. And they say girls can't play video games... You are the living proof that *_girls CAN play video games,_* and can beat the competition. I would love to come over to your place sometime.
13:30 my model of the sega was very different, it was like a square size with 2 red buttons on front there was not switch clip on the left side and the controler ports were very much in the middle of the system. It may have been a second model of the system. I even had the master system converter which goes on top of the system.
Thanks for the tour, room looks really great, laid out/organised really well. You both obviously love your games and associated gaming material. So love the pinball machines, can't quite afford to get one of those yet, but I have been more blessed with Arcade cabinets and boards, so not complaining. Love the PVM, would love to get one of those at stage (hard to get due to freight costs down here in Tassie). I switched to purely collecting Japanese based titles a few years ago and haven't regretted it, worth it for the cover art and packaging alone. Using Cassette covers with printed inlays for the Gameboy games is a brilliant idea - they look really cool. I have my Gameboy games in a folder with trading card sleeves at the moment. Cheers from a fellow Aussie collector (well South Island :)). Yes and I am slack, both behind on videos and I haven't done a room tour for two years now.
Hey mate! Thanks for watching my video and taking the time to comment. We really do love our games and i'm glad it does come across. We enjoy film and music too so it's a nice space to watch an old movie or listen to some 90's music while gaming. The PVM was def a holy grail item for both of us. It was a dream to always find one and we got lucky with two. Up here in QLD they are hard to come by and freight is expensive. I can't imagine though Tassie that would be a pain. Yeah the cassette covers come out really good! Check out the channel NES Complex. Great stuff and he inspired me to do it! Thanks again for tuning in and hello from Queensland :)
Oh yeah they are such pains to fix too. We are limited to who can fix them now in Australia. Both good to different places across the country 😕 Oh yeah the PVM for the win! Finally added two
Retro Gamer Girl it was PS1 games, most aren't too expensive, so it could have been worse. Saw Dune and Theme Hospital on the shelves, you didn't even mention them, but I nabbed them. Loaded is another. I love some of those console variants you have, but I would quickly run out of space, so I have to resist that temptation.
@@JustinCardiff Loaded is a classic! That one is probably one of the newest in the collection for us and I think underrated game. I should stream that soon :-)
Awesome collection! Thanks for the tour. I can relate to throwing out some game boxes back in the day. I regret throwing out my N64 boxes and my Colecovision game cartridge boxes out as a kid.
Yeah its a tragedy isn't it! I actually have a video coming in March to cover this topic and ways to collect / get around it that I hope helps :-) Thank you for watching!!!!
One of the things I like best about it is the multiple tvs. I might just have to head out to good will myself to see if i can find some cheap tvs and games after watching this!

His game room is better IMO, these people have just poured a bunch of cash into their room, SeeJayAres is great because he's filmed himself gaining his collection. And the fact they have "retro" in their UA-cam name is cringe hahaha

Thanks for watching brother. Yeah, this cab holds the weight and cheap. Look at Fantastic Furniture it's the commo range (I believe that's how it's spelt) and $99 got each of those white ones with the two draws. Trust me they are cheap but so damn good for space!
I have seen this video once before and I guess I didn't realize how amazing your setup is hahaha. This is really cool and I love how many unique items like the ps tv y'all have. I laughed how it took 33 minutes for you to say "okay so now this is the games collection" 🤣 super cool though!
Everyone's collection in a room is a games room :) Mine used to be in a small room with the entertainment unit the same :) If you follow me on IG tag me in a photo of your room i'd love to see it :-)
Ok so....... the TalkBoy in the thumbnail is major click bait lol! Jk. Ahhh I miss my Talk Boy :(. Fantastic tour and epic game room! Some how we just now found your channel. Looking forward to watching your vids. Keep up the great work!
Thank you so much for watching! Hahaha yes the Talkboy is the hubbies life and joy. We finally tracked one down that was working since he misplaced his childhood one over the years
That's awesome! We have been on the prowl for one because we want to use it for the audio on our second camera lol. Yes it will sound like dog shit.......but the good kind :).
What are the miniature jars of like Nutella/Milo and where did you get them? Where did you get that Playstation button light on top of your small Sony TV? Can you explain a bit about the Raspberry Pi running ad's? I've heard of people using it for MAME machines but never to run old commercials...that sounds awesome! Where did you get the life size hoverboard?! What are you using to prop your games up like that for display (like on your PS2/PS3 games you have four of them taking up a fair amount of room on your shelf...I know there's a stand behind them propping them up)?
The miniatures had been given away when you spend over $30 at Coles here in Australia. They are blind bag items with these little collectables inside. The PS light is available from EB Games and worldwide link here: ebgames.com.au/loot-237726-Sony---PlayStation-Icons-Decorative-Light-Loot OK so the Pi is running a program which allows us to add videos to the SD card and then run the commercials on a loop www.timschwartz.org/raspberry-pi-video-looper/. I went to an online converter site and added the YT URL for a video that I wanted to download / convert and saved the old commercials. These are mostly Australian adverts or movie trailers. Hover board is a replica that is readily available online just have a search :-) There is a black shelf behind the games that was from the video store (that we purchased the shelves from) they are plastic moulded and allow for the games / DVD cases as they had been designed for to sit like that.
@@TeamRetro Thank you! Most people answer one or two of my questions but never all of them lol. I'm still a bit lost on the Pi but the Pi in general confuses me...I need to sit down and actually figure out how to use one sometime.
@@TeamRetro Me too! I have 10 kits as of right now and counting. I've limited myself to playstation exclusives only. Just because they cost so much. There are a few GOW kits on ebay right now actually. Unfortunately they go for alot around 300-400$ USD. That last of us kit you have is by far the most expensive kit though. They go for around 1,200-1,300$. You're very lucky to have had that sent to you by a friend. Whoever that was is a really good person! :)
@@Aus10McNeal They don't come up often for sale here in Australia much but I do hope to add it at some point. I finally added the console and LE statue set but the press kit would be my final piece :) Oh I know so grateful that our friend wanted to share that with us. It's a piece that is so important to us and feel so lucky every time we look at it that he offered to gift it to us. That video is on the channel under Mystery Box from the UK if you want to check it out :)
@@TeamRetro Oh nice I definitely will check it out then! That's the one kit I'll probably never get my hands on. I just bought the last of us clicker statue off ebay. Super excited to get in. Will be the first and probably only last of us collectible in my collection. Anything the last of us is just always so expensive. I'm pretty sure ebay is worldwide as well. If I'm not mistaken one of the sellers for the GOW kit is in Australia. I buy my kits from countries all over the world. The UK, Russia, Australia, Germany, France, Brazil. Never once found one for sale here in the states interestingly enough. I guess the press here like to keep and collect their kits I'm not sure lol.
@@TeamRetro Don't worry about it... If I'm short on time I speed up videos, but I'm happy when someone takes the time to explain things. People have gotten used to 10 minute videos but a fabulous room like yours needs a thorough and loving explanation to really see everything. Thanks for a great video and congrats on an amazing collection!
Wow, what a breathtaking setup, so amazing. Wow. I would love to know more about that VideoCD model PlayStation, as well as the PlayStation TV set? Is that a TV with a built in PlayStation console:? I actually remember playing the demo version of Loaded back in the late 90s.
Hey mate thanks for watching and I promise to cover the PS1 consoles (all colours) in March. The TV will be a feature with the crt, pvm and lcd video but to let you know the PS1 is a Japanese TV only with no built in system 😊
@@TeamRetro From the way you spoke it sounded like that's what it was. i believe there was an LCD TV with a built in PS2 released in the UK in 2010 believe it or not.
I know I am a bit late and here in 2022 but I am so jealous! Best game room tour on youtube! Hopefully one day I might be able to get a game room a bit like that! Love from QLD
as a collector myself ( yet i look like nothing compared) i would love to know if you know of any where i could find steals for consoles or games . 15 consoles and 300 games im always looking for expanding my collection.
Hi Jonathan! Thanks for asking a question. I def have been searching on Facebook marketplace at the moment. I have found a lot of games of late at great prices. If you're looking at bulking your collection the PS3 is prime at the moment to buy cheap deals.
Hey, matty from south coast nsw. A truly amazing collection, especially an Australian collection. I think it's a lot harder in oz because of the smaller population and we simply didn't get the variety or number of products like the Us. Well unless we jump on ebay and buy everything, but that's not collecting. That is buying, yes it is nice to buy those few things you lost or use too own and want again. But there's nothing like finding those gems in the wild. Tips,op shops, garage sales, roadside trash and best of all those that survived the roller coaster of your life. well done guys, never forget your youth and what makes you happy. And how simple life was.
Love the room and collection. Specially like the Sega collection and have one myself where i'm happy to have my original Master system II in perfect working condition, most memories on that system and also my Game gear working even with it's original caps. Only thing missing in my Sega console collection is a Sega CD, 32x and Nomad and those are more rare or expensive to come across here in my country. Besides that also my original Gameboy and my C64 I hold dearly.
Hey john it was available at EB Games Australia BUT I do think it's a worldwide item ebgames.com.au/loot-237726-Sony---PlayStation-Icons-Decorative-Light-Loot
I truly admire how you and our husband still have your original consoles and games from childhood. It shows just how much you cherished them. I wish I could go back in time and tell my younger self to do the same :(

I went to an online converter site and added the YT URL for a video that I wanted to download / convert and saved the old commercials. These are mostly Australian adverts or movie trailers.
Hover board is a replica that is readily available online just have a search :-)
There is a black shelf behind the games that was from the video store (that we purchased the shelves from) they are plastic moulded and allow for the games / DVD cases as they had been designed for to sit like that.
@@TeamRetro Thank you! Most people answer one or two of my questions but never all of them lol. I'm still a bit lost on the Pi but the Pi in general confuses me...I need to sit down and actually figure out how to use one sometime.
dream room 😁
Such a great collection you have. I am a sega fan and I am pleased to see so many sega games in your video.
Keep the work on !
This room is 200 square feet away from the size of my house haha.
I love the tour thank you for sharing your experiences with us can’t help but notice you don’t have star wing for snes it’s a pal version of star fox
Thank you very much. I think we do have it now :)
Retro Gamer Girl you guys stay safe looking forward to seeing more content from you
I love you this Is the room of my dreams!
Nice to see a collection that includes press kits! I'm actively collecting ps4 kits right now.
Thanks for watching!
Yeah we have only a few at the moment and had been gifted some from a friend in the UK last year. I'd love God of War next :)
I finally added the console and LE statue set but the press kit would be my final piece :)
Oh I know so grateful that our friend wanted to share that with us.
Good but... too long
I’ll have to show my room off now
Well I tried to make it properly to cover all the questions and areas I was asked about.
Nokia 8110...🤘🤘🤘
Haha that's a cool piece actually
Thanks for the tour! Love this video. I appreciate the effort it must have taken to make this video.
Thank you for watching
@@TeamRetro Your welcome.

I know I am a bit late and here in 2022 but I am so jealous! Best game room tour on youtube! Hopefully one day I might be able to get a game room a bit like that! Love from QLD
Never too late! Thanks for watching.
Change the name to "Playstation Game Room Tour"
Heaps of Sega and Nintendo in the space 😄
@@TeamRetro no xbox?.... O.o
as a collector myself ( yet i look like nothing compared) i would love to know if you know of any where i could find steals for consoles or games .
Oh my God! Will you marry me?!
haha thank you for the offer but i'm already taken :-)
@@TeamRetro:-(
Great video. What an amazing game room!!!
Thank you for watching
1:34:37 I sold my copy of The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask in 2013 and I'm still kicking myself for doing that to this day.
Oh my god you have such an awesome room! So want that hello kitty dreamcast in blue.
Thank you :) The blue is awesome I use it a fair bit too. I just need more Dreamcast games :)
So lovely. I feel like i just walked into an EB Games store in 1997.
Thank you for your kind words 👍
Well said Matthew and thanks for tuning in to the channel. It's truly appreciated.
I'm so glad to see Champions of Norrath in your amazing collection
Oh my the game room tour of the famous Retro gaming Girl wow I’m to excited for this lol
Oh not famous 😘 I hope you enjoyed it ✋🙏
Love the room and collection.
Nice! I would love to track down a Nomad one day 👌
Wow that’s amazing, absolutely love the toon in your thumbnail she’s so adorable💯❤️
Oh thank you! It's really cool. The artist is on Instagram if you would like to know more details :-)
I was in frisco texas and visited gaming museum. You have great display. Downey California
Thank you very much!
What type of organizer that ur ps1 is in.....tv playing Doom is stacked ontop of it.....nice
Oh my god !! I love you and your room!!!
Thank you for watching and your kind words
Also, where did you get the PS button light shown at around 14:12 mark (on top the TV)?
Hey john it was available at EB Games Australia BUT I do think it's a worldwide item ebgames.com.au/loot-237726-Sony---PlayStation-Icons-Decorative-Light-Loot
