got denied for my business card. dangit! and we are @85K for december. Thinking of trying to get extra points staying at different hotels. But concerned because our card posts in January. I'm hoping all point will count as long as they post prior to december 31st. do you know if that is the case or not? Seems no way to get January (2year now). Try to shoot for that again next year.
I met my 85K in January on the personal card. Should I have already signed up for the business card? Or, is it ok to sign up for a business card after January 2025?
If you finished your spend on your personal card in January 2025 (this month) and you received the 85k miles this month - then you can definitely sign up for a business card now. As soon as you hit the 135k miles IN 2025 (any points awarded last year in 2024 don't count!) then you will get the companion pass for the remainder of this year 2025 AND next year 2026.
I met the spend for the personal credit card last week. I was looking at applying for the business card to meet the requirements for the companion pass, but it looks like I may have messed up the timing. Is it correct to assume that the points I earned this month will not count towards the earning requirements for the companion pass for 2025? So confusing!

I believe all points between the personal and business cards must be earned in the same calendar year.
