- Renovation progress has been slower than we hoped with dad in the hospital but we are making the best of it! Good thing mom stayed calm during my biggest makeover mistake ever!

Nova Scotia girl here. My father made a ramp for his boat at our cottage. We clear out the rocks and built them up on each side then Dad put down Spruce logs about 6-8 inches apart down the cleared area and than put larger logs on the sides and put large screws or bolts through to the bottom rails. It was easy to bring the boat up and it was easyy for us to get in. A dock in salt water can be very expensive.
Wonderful the boys have grandparents near and will go fishing with them. Lynn

With all of those apple trees you all could make crock pot apple butter. It’s so easy and delicious and possibly a craft fair item this winter, if local laws allow for homemade treats at fairs.
I have done a similar project. The trick I found to keep the tiles finish from damage during the grout process was that I put 2 clear coats on top of the finished art piece on each tile. I know it's a little late to help you on this project. Perhaps next time? Blessings abundant to you and yours always. Still praying for your Dad. ❤

Next time you want to grout non-ceramic tiles I'd recommend trying silicone grout. It's not messy at all and you can fill the lines very precisely requiring almost no cleaning

Maybe what would work for the international buyers is an information package only with all the crafts included for the month with a list of products needed to do each craft. This could be emailed and they could print it out and still follow the videos for the craft boxes.

Are you going to caulk in between the beadboard pieces? I'm a sock folder (OCD lol), so that would drive me nuts.. plus, you need to scrape the white off mom's red light in the livingroom, before it's so stuck on there, it won't come off. It's coming along great and I'm so glad your FIL is home! Now to get him feeling much better!! I am a basketweaver, too (among other art things), but I've never woven willow. I'd love to grow my own. What do I need to look for to buy it? TIA Apples?? Nom nom nom!!!

Have you considered filling in the dents and such on the ceiling... or would that be too tedious to do? Or are you caulking the gaps between the ceiling panels?
For people overseas you could have a paid online subscription of craft project tutorials using items easily found in stores or in nature. Of course that would mean coming up with more ideas. Just a thought. ❤

Elysia, my thinking that if you would have put a top coat on before you added the grout maybe you wouldn’t have had to repaint .. just a thought. So glad all is well now Dad is home. I been waiting for you to do your boys room . I’m sure it’s on the list . Stay safe

I believe you should have clear-coated the triangle tiles before you installed them. Two ot three coats, probably. Then the grouting process wouldn’t have wiped the paint off.

Glad Dad is doing better & projects looking nice. But summer is getting nearer & nearer to a end. When is the barn getting done for those animals? I bet the horses are out growing that shed by now. Has Philip possibly been working on it & the fences. They need to be able to roam freely. Nothing better for animals but to have a free space to roam.

Does this bay freeze in the winter? Keep that in mind when making the dock. If it does freeze, you'll need to move it so not to crush it during break up. I love the triangle tiles!

Re Grout: You should have bought grout in a tube - it would have given you the ability to just aim/put it in the seams - squirt it in - use your finger to tamp it in - and you wouldn't have had that huge clean up.
I am worried about you. You are over extending yourself and from reading your messages people are getting upset. We miss you but you can’t do it all. To much pressure for anyone. Maybe you could get some help with your kits. High school girls would love to make a little money on mailing days. Please don’t make yourself sick. We love you and worry when we don’t see you for so long. Take care of you.❤❤❤

I have a suggestion. Why don't you take pre subscriptions for you monthly boxes and give them a month to prepay/order for it. That way you know exactly how many you would need and maybe do an extra ten or twenty that people can buy that are new to your channel. Something to consider.

@@gwengarbini5934 Philips dad had surgery, that's a huge stress and strain on everyone. Their boys are out of school for summer break. That's a lot! Summer is also just a very busy time when you have property, and animals. While making videos is their job. Everyone needs, deserves, and gets a break from their job when needed. Life happens! I miss their videos too, but I'm glad that they are supporting their family.
