I wonder how many people have watch this and decided to go into the field of science as a career anime has truly changed my life it is the best form of entertainment
In my case it actually made me huge science fan and i found meaning of life in science. Because i have aspergers syndrome i tend to remember lots of information when something interests me so after the show i learned things like: periodic table, human anatomy,lots of diffrent plants and their medical benefits,every known planet’s and stars name, distance, diameter etc. I also learned every invention in the show and my grades went up because i read the textbooks the day i get them. Before this anime came i was bad at school and i only learned useless stuff (like some random mythologhy gods and stuff) this anime truly inspired unmotivated kid like me and thats what good show does. (Also my english may not be best kind because im from finland)
@@Chirkrasia that’s awesome, i think with enough motivation nearly anyone can be what ever they want and your (assumed) interst in geology can be very useful to humanity or whoever you work for. World needs more people interested in science so we can evolve but in unharmful way. I have (illogical) feeling you will be great help to achieve that and your personal dreams.

Thats a lie. Sure, this anime taught you alot of things in the brief moment. But it was only for a brief moment I doubt you remember exactly how to make dynamite or gunpowder. Meanwhile, school in a whole year teaches you many things and helps you remember it forever. Even just 1 year can teach you alot

I don't know what impressed me more about the Stone Wars, the fact they managed to make a "Cell Phone" (two way radio) with such limited industry or the fact they managed to make a tank. Okay so the tank was not terribly effective but it did it's job and for being so simple a machine it was very neat. The cell phones were pretty cool too but lacked the pure "wow" factor. The problem is that now they have such unique tech the creation of a ship, while awesome, is going to seem like a step down...
That's the point though, they're bouncing around the tech tree. Ships, guns, etc. All came before the medicine they made. This show isn't about showing humanity progressing forward its to show how far we've come.
The ship isn't the main goal. The true nature of the petrification is really what you should be hyped for. They create science things as they need them, not just because.
I love this series and Suika is so precious she is definitely one of my favorite characters especially later on in the story she does some really amazing things (not quite on par with senku but close enough) I can't wait to see that stuff animated but will be quite awhile lol
I wonder why did they choose to make a sailing ship instead of a steamer ore a sailsteamer whitch was the way the steamers introduced to the world. After al they have the power of steam now. And the steam engine could be used sparengly like when there is no wind ore a big storm.
