*Hey Guys! I hope you enjoy this UNBOXING & TESTED video. Also in this video, another "Mini-Hack"! If you missed my previous video and "Mini-Hack", check it out here: * **ua-cam.com/video/9OfgM_Z31ps/v-deo.html** *Thanks for watching!* 👍
Holy jeebus it's been awhile since I've watched your videos. I remember that video where you've tinkered with some spongebob toy. Nostalgia
Your garage light mini hack is a very good one.
Noodle Sushi Nostalgia indeed! SpongeBob chatterbox toy he tinkered with.
The humble tennis ball is tops!
I really liked the last one! Maybe I'll see if I can find it!
That minihack reminded me of the amazing videos you use to make. Glad to see them.
Remember Kipkay in 2014?
2006*
That garage door light set up that kip made was actually really neat!
I LOVE that you brought back the hacks and the mini hacks in your new type of videos. It's PERFECT!!! Been a sub from the beginning in 2007! Also, the light idea is great, i'll be doing that for the wife and I.
5-Port Studios Thanks for watching and being a fan!
I think the minihack deserves it's own video.
This guy inspired me to study electronics
Thanks for the heart kipkay :)
Who else remembers when Kipkay made actual good videos?
We all do
Nima Jafari 96% of the viewers of this video think this is “actual” good.
@@kipkay Well it's not a bad video man but I'm just saying. Growing up watching you was different, back when you used to make stuff and have the kits on your website and all that, those were good times.
Glad you're adding hacks back to your videos.
I miss when you made your own gadgets
I can't believe I didn't think of that light trick for my garage. I will definitely try that out.
there are dozens of videos that PROVE that most of these so called "things that make life easier" actually introduce more steps and make things take longer
Totally agree. Such as is the case with Philips Hue, makes turning on the lights once you get to your room a little bit harder than just flipping a switch (provided you dont have the $30 remote). I personally have an echo so I just tell her to turn on the lights, instead of fumbling with my phone. On the other hand, once you really really exploit the features, theyre super nice and do actually make life easier. Something to be mentioned though, is that theyre very expensive, and it would take a million bucks to turn your home all smart lighting. Aaaaand it would be outdated in a couple of years😂
Maybe , but as an engineer, my focus is to avoid just this ! Building an intuitive , unobtrusive and easy to use (like talking to your assistant ) is how I want all things to be built and that's how I'll ever build anything. If I feels it's more of a hassle , immediately scrap it and think of a better way.
Liked the mini hack. more of that, please.
How much i love you as a childhood hero that drawing of you looks like it belongs in a 2005 flash game
tony montana
?
Kipkay an OG so glad this channel stuck
well said
I would have liked to see you drop test that handy light a couple of times. It's portable so dropping is quite likely to happen.
Thanks Kip! Your videos brighten my day!
👍 Enjoyed the mini hack! Great job!
Kip Kay, I remember yesrsss who I use to love your videos now I’m 20 and still love them! Keep up the good work
Same
LOVE the "mini-hack". KEEP IT UP!
I don't even have a garage.
The mini hack was a really cool ideal and I like that ismart devices.
Mini Hack for the win!
6:20 door closes and your lost
I do miss the projects that you used to do. Great fun and really interesting. Good to see you cruising on!
5:08 when I asked kip Kay if he wanted to be the technician in a bank heist
yeah those shadows on the light would get annoying but i'm sure you can take that grill off, it's not needed since there's no bulb to break
I like the I smart gate opener that was super cool.
Love the mini hacks!
27 years later I've learned how to cut through the security plastic the right way. 😅
Kip Kay mini hack series
Do you plan on uploading any diy/builds or life hacks videos anytime soon?
I like the mini-hacks
Garage hacks are the best! The tennis ball is the best. Cars have to play sports too!
Another great video by a great channel!
Thank you for keeping up the work :p great channel
thanks kipkay you gave me cheap powerchair lighting idea
Heeey Kipkay, can you go back building something or upgrading something??
I really love watching those videos of yours. 😋🙏
I loved the mini hack
4:14 shows the xbox 360 dvd/media remote control. Wow, I remember having that!
This is not a complaint against you, just a general observation.
One problem I always have with any reviews of as seen on TV products or anything else really is that you only find out if it does what it's supposed to.
The problem with this is that especially with the tools this really doesn't tell you much.
To some degree most tools do what they're supposed to , what we really need to know is if it will last.
I doubt anyone reviewing a bunch of stuff all the time is going to use it enough to know.
A problem with that is that unless you're Consumer Reports or a big network TV station, you don't have the time or the budget to simulate hundreds of hours of wear and tear. The best you can do is give an update on the product every 6-12 months. And with ASOTV stuff, by the time you get to a one or two year review, the product probably isn't being manufactured anymore. A lot of this stuff is just junk that is priced to sell quick and isn't made for durability, and once the company starts racking up liabilities for bad products or sees declining sales, they cut their losses and move on to something else.
Cool love the handy bright very nice
The only thing about that garage light hack is that garage doors to the interior are supposed to be self-closing
I just installed the tennis ball in my garage for my truck. Needed it to be able to fit in and just be able to close the garage but also have enough space to slide between the bumper and my workbench.
👍(2-1)💩 [Kipkay's minihack gets a point]

Jar Jar Binks: *"Well that's just stinkawit!"*
Thanks Kip
I really like your life hacks since high school.
awesome video as always.greetings from Philippines
We have that flashlight it’s amazing
Hi
Does the narration sound artificially "softened"? It sounds a bit like there was a blanket between Kip and the microphone. This is especially apparent at 2:18.
I liked your hack with the truck lights why don't you do electronic videos anymore?👍
Indeed, these were always my favorite videos!
Loving the mini hacks man
great video Kipkay.
I LOVE U KIPKAY MY WHOLE LIFE IVE LOVED U
The last gadget was awesome. if only I have auto garage xD
Hmm so the truck light hack can be used as an alarm system on the windows too, instead of lights, use sirens :-)
...why would you use 9v instead of a more common 12v transformer? Those LEDs are probably designed for up to 14v input and 12v would've been much brighter and safer
jojuae 9v transformer that I had put out a little over 10v. Amperage on that adapter was perfect. I couldn’t find a low enough amp 12v in my box. LED’s are very efficient.
I got the notification and got excited, it's time for the stinkers
Been a fan since 2009 grate channa 👍👍👍👍👍👍
You could also use a concrete brick instead of the Parkez as well
Awesome😍
is the reed switch in the magnetic contact good enough for the current of those led's? I would place a small relay in between it.
I hate the lights that have a bulb. Burned my hand too many times on that metal housing
I love this video very nice kipkay i love it
Great video !!
You're awesome man
I don't know about anyone else, but dont most houses now have a light sensor built into the garage opener?
@@jasenrock yeah that's kinda what i assumed.
i love you kipkay.
You an easily create the garage door opener using a Raspberry Pi, a magnetic reed switch and a relay board. I have it setup so I can pull up a website and see if my garage door is open or closed and I can open or close it with a simple tap on a icon. I also have it setup so I can toggle the power to the motion sensor light on the outside of my garage. I only have about $60 in that project and it could be cut by $25 by using a Pi Zero W.
This video got a big 👍🏻
Keep it up love ur videos
When will this be a stand-alone show on cable/satellite?!?!
Awesome video
I just bought exact same LED trouble light @ 5 and below ....
Love your videos.
That cadi lookn fyeurrr
r/ihadastroke
Manga Kipkay has more hair than Anime Kipkay
netflix adaptation makes him look like repunzel with long hair xD
I love your hacks more
N I C E
The hack is good idea
Light at beginning should’ve gotten 👎
5:14 you can just buy a motion detector switch to replace the current switch.
I would say the incandescent was best in the under the hood test
Sometimes i like to lick the tv and pretend im spongebob except spongebob doesn't have a drivers licence
So glad this channel is putting out good content again!
Maser209 he probably behind bills and remember he had a UA-cam
I like the incandescent better
I just bought an led light bulb for my incandescent shop light.
👍👍👍
I bought the handy bright and the shadow has a annoyingly bright yellow in the shadow it hurt your eyes and a couple times I used it that little metal hook broke off...I give it a 👎
I don't think the incandescent stop light was a fair comparison considering you can change it to any type of bulb with the same socket.
so.. if a breeez closes the door after you are in the middle of the garage,,,, you will be in the dark ? ;0 ILL STICK WITH MOTION SENSORS
That garage light hack uses an always plugged in AC adapter; one that wastes electricity even when not supplying power. I know I'm being nitpicky. Literally everyone leaves their phone bricks plugged in. Even I do on occasion. But just think about it. How much electricity would the world save if it didn't have all those AC adapters plugged in 24/7?
The Brown RAT That wouldn’t help if you were just going out to the garage for something and NOT opening the door.
The solution for that one would have to be wiring the switch through the input into the AC adapter, which would be a bit more of a process. I'm not sure if the magnet switch he used would work for AC.
Wow
Where have you been
You used to only make videos every month
👍👍👍👍
Duuuuude you just showed the internet where you live
So did Chris Chan, and well.
Should change the name to 2min reviews
Just go buy a good GE led bulb for the plug in light ...
Stinkkkkkkerssssss baby woohoo
