Every story has a beginning…. "Bloodlines" is a prequel to "The 13th Hour," taking listeners further into the haunted estate of the mysterious Haverghast family.
If you’ve been trick-or-treating or visited a haunted attraction, costume shop, or amusement park during the Halloween season chances are you’ve heard the music of Midnight Syndicate. Since 1996, dark music pioneers Edward Douglas and Gavin Goszka have been delighting fans of All Hallow’s Eve, gothic music, horror cinema, and roleplaying games like Dungeons & Dragons with their soundtracks to imaginary films that blend orchestration and sound effects. Some day I will find that one track from my childhood over ten years ago that goes "Dun dun dun DUN DUN dun dun dun DUN DUN" a few times and then has some eerie noise after. Its from at least maybe 2008-2012 since I was a young kid going to a haunted attraction Fright Haven

Very heavy 'dance of death' vibes. Reminiscent of the final dance in Masque of the Red Death (Vincent Price, 1963).

Good Set, makeup, costume and chosen steps (the music being the best of all)
Funnily enough I imagined all the dancers being co-conspirators in the dark revelry and them all swirling around in a circle around a large dark Columned with moonlight coming down from the centre or at the least centre windows (sort of similar to roundhouse cathedral /church structures) but that's the beauty of soundscapes.
The chosen location is very atmospheric and does fit the theme

I spent most of the video thinking the other couples were vampires or some kind of monsters and the main couple were ordinary humans oblivious to everyone else’s monstrous natures. And that the couples’ transformations were them shedding their human disguises in preparation for preying on the main couple. Nice twist

I think otherwise, I believe that the middle aged couple still standing at the end of the waltz are immortal beings of some sort and that they lured their guests into a cursed dance or something that gradually killed them all. Which would explain their oblivious smiles/lack of surprise and them clapping at the end like nothing happened
This reminded me of that Mexican legend I heard in the city of Guanajuato were a group of musicians were hired to play at a ball, and they noticed that the dancers were turning into demons. They found out that they were playing in hell.

LOL OK, The Rage is a nice film but I just prefer this one for some reason. I like how Mr Zombie started speaking in German while he was still alive, but right before he is turned, he has a regular English accent LOL no big deal it just means that this gentleman is a talented voice actor! And the shots of the wilderness look great! I had so much fun watching it again and with my adult perspective Ed, TY for making all of this wonderful content available!
