    So did the first four factions get immensely power crept or do they also have unique abilities?

      The 4 original ones each have their own unique game mechanic/specialty. They most likely worked on the expansion at the same time as the base game and tested it all together to make sure nothing was to over powered

    Erosion rule is wrong…At the end of the turn, you take 1 token off and do 1 damage per turn. You don’t take ALL erosion damage
