This is the guitar we all want to buy if you're a Hetfield fan, Scorpions, Accept and more. Way too expensive though! would kill for an Epiphone version though.
@@FortessofShred Hey, you only get to choose one: cheap products and shitty wages, or expensive products and good wages. You can't have it both ways. That was absolutely perfect. The best 10 minutes I’ve spent in a long time. 😂 The guitar was epic and so was Dagan’s playing. I can personally tell if Dagan is really interested in the guitar he is playing. He just plays for the fun of it. 😊
Dagan, this hands down the best review you've ever made. I don't even understand how you can still do a proper explanation of something when you're that excited lol
I have a 1976 Cherry Red Gibson Flying V! It sounds amazing!!!!! Also, you are an amazing guitar player! I hope you will get the V. Fly higher brother!
recently got the Ebony 70's explorer and just looking at it gives me chills. playing it is another animal. it's my grail guitar. always wanted one, and will never let it go.
and it makes me want to buy one again. I had a different model years ago with the horrid robo tuners and sold it. Fretboard was more cramped than 70 V that I played recently. Now I know it is the 70 V guitar for me.
I had a silver burst V new back in 1979. Sold it after about 2 years (for a Marshall I do believe) always regretted it. Those silver burst go for a pretty dime now. Anyway I bought the very guitar your playing back in 2020. So after 40 years I got a V back in my life, and yes they are great players. Your playing is fantastic too.
I love this guy's playing and I judt wanna say that the white ones actually sound like this. I don't know why but they are wired or something to sound like that.
nice riffing man! Played one the other day and really enjoyed it a lot. So glad that Gibson ditched the horrible robo tuners. Had a different V years ago with crappy robo tuners and fretboard was giving me hand cramps so sold it. But the 1970s neck feels way better on this V than the vintage V guitar.
@@cowboybill.2433 There are metal albums recorded with the Gibson PAFs, so yeah these should sound great with tons of midrange thru a high gain tube amp
always love your reviews Dagan but I have to say Gibson has gotten so way over priced and there still lacking in the QC department and I used to own a few gibsons back in the day. WIth so many other great guitar companies out there that in my opinion make better guitars for lower prices out there Gibson is not even a thought in my mind anymore give me a Schecter, ESP, or PRS over a GIbson any day!! But a still great review as always!
And only $2500! Such a deal! Hell, for that price just go ahead and get yourself one for each day of the week! Not very Seventies, is it? *_Real_* Flying Vs from the Seventies had the rounded-off, phallic headstocks. (Maybe they should've been called "Flying D's.") And I don't recall having ever seen one with a bound fretboard, either. So, no thanks, Gibson. I love Flying Vs, but not nearly enough to make an ass of myself overpaying this much for one.
At that price you can buy yourself a 90s jap econobox. So really the question is... do I need an economy gas saving car? Or a gaudy piece of sonic wood?

Paint it a yellowy off-white, add binding to the fretboard only--we don't want to add a whole lot of labor to this thing--call it a 'Seventies' Flying V and add $1,000 to $1,400 to the price. Short sad story: I remember 10 years ago or so, the faded one in white was 1000€ and the Explorer 84 with EMG 81-60 was 1100€.
But I'm left handed. 😢
Gibson are out of their damned minds! Pricing like that is why nobody buys American anymore.

I REALLY love the sound of those pickups! What a guitar! NO mistaking Dagan's joy here eh? Thank you Dagan!
Dagan's playing was on fire. It was fun watching him have fun playing that V 🤘
This is exactly how I felt when I got my 70s Flying V. All smiles man and absolutely wonderful to play.
Rock it like a hurricane, I have this exact guitar and it sounds like God has plugged in . Keep rocking Dagan !
Lmao awesome
it does and plays like butter oh such a fantastic guitar!
Here to watch Dagan just enjoy himself haha!

this and Les Paul custom would be fantastic match. Then just need a Strat and Tele to complete.

Amazing tone and feel of these guitars.
It make me happy to saw you so happy playin this! Enjoy! The Classical Gibson White Flying V are legendary and my fave guitar model ever !

You just can't beat a Gibson Flying V. My 2018 Heavy Metal Gibson Flying V is utterly astounding through my Blackstar HT Stage 100.

Late comment but great playing and guitar. Love the enthusiasm. It is contagious.
I bought one! Fantastic! Wish I could play it as good as you!
Yeah, you have to buy the special one that comes preloaded with Dagan-level chops, but it’s from the Custom Shop and costs as much as a new car…
Dagan is in he's happyplace 👍🤟
Paul Stanley used to use a flying V back in the 70s also did Graham Oliver of saxon did to as well as the greatest German rocker Rudolph Schenker
Rudolph still has all of his Vs and he still uses them.
Hardcore Superstar!!😍

The best Gibson guitar !
Damn I’ve been wanting to buy it! :D sick!
Gibson Fv always my fav for metal
I sold my 1998 67 reissue Flying V to fund my Strat back in 2002. Now, I love my Strat, but I wish I had never sold that V!!!

You have check reverb constantly....sometimes you'll see a good deal.
It's a lot of work, punching those numbers into that CMC machine 😂
Jam as always❤ Dagan… do you like this tone over the Gibson DM Flying V?
Yeah, this is more my tone 👌
I think he likes it.
The white finish Gibson 70s Flying V reminds me of James Hetfield’s early days Flying V in the 80s
Like slash, everyone thinks it was a Gibson he was playing
PERFECT sound and playing! What pedals amps used here please?
What amp are you playing the V guitar from? I love the tone!
Dagan is a national treasure. Put that man on the British flag!
what was the first riff he played?
Did you use any pedals for this video?
Nitro without plasticizers would be great
Airborne...ish.👌🏼
why its a strat?
These have nothing in common with actual 1970s Gibson Flying Vs. Not sure why they called it the 70s V, it's another 67 reissue
I appreciate Gibson for creating the Flying V and Explorer shapes, but other brands have made both look so much better.
