For some reason, he never received that message and I severely doubt that he would deny the severity of the situation. He wanted to gather the souls to give his people hope, but how can you give hope to them if they are dead? There's definitely some - unfortunately - unexplained reason behind his behaviour.

@@theelectricdiamondkid2921 It's very subjective who is really the hardest since you could say it's actually Undying seeing how her moves are WAY less easy to master and predict. I know this from experience, I couldn't beat Undying but I beat Sans in my FIRST ATTEMPT with barely any training.
I like how Asgore has a similar trick that Sans has, where you don't get Invincibility frames and he attacks you while you're in the menu. It's like right before you came in to battle him, Sans quickly gave Asgore the basics on how to do it to at least give him a chance.

I love how Frisk's attack makes the screen light up white. Because the implication is that yeah, this IS that slash that Chara uses to *literally destroy the universe* at the end of regular genocide. It's just that Asgore + 6 human souls is so powerful that Frisk can literally split spacetime and he's barely scratched. He is holding reality itself together by his mere presence.

Honestly this wouldve been a kickin ass secret boss fight. Where you had to do a certain number of things to trigger Asgore actually absorbing the 6 souls and causing flowey to side with him.
What this should be, is the HARD MODE thats fully completed, and you do a Hard Mode of Genocide Run, which would allow you for more options, like Fight Grillby, Temmie from the shop and Gerson, that turtle shop keeper, while also looking for Alphys and even facing off against Amalgamates and when you kill legit EVERYBODY that is remotely possible, would make surpassing level 20 possible to Level 25. This will trigger this special battle after beating Sans, where he himself is actually determined to stop you, persisting little bit after death still fighting you. When he is taken care off, you have THIS battle. And after it, against Gaster. A penultimate battle against time and space itself pretty much.

The reason the actual hard boss fights were so hard in genocide run is because in the neutral and pacifist runs, the bosses wanted to FIGHT, meaning they were willing to be fair, in the genocide run they’re trying to kill you, so they’re gonna make it as hard as possible for you to survive
If I fight like this were to happen, I'd like to imagine that Asgore calls out for help to each of the 6 human souls whenever you land a hit, altering his bullet patterns or launching a special attack based on the soul he calls. Then for the final turn, they'd all attack together in a combo string, before an ultimate attack where the souls spin around you like in the Omega Flowey fight.
I think it’s becuase normally between every turn there is dialogue but whoever made this didn’t code in any, so the game expects to load text, and when the text is done it goes away, so the text bubble goes away near instantly because there is no text.
Tactic for Genocide Asgore: - Collect Item pieces first UNLESS You know You can pull of a no hit and get the fight button instead, - If you have done item, do fight next. - You should probably focus on fighting as genociders don’t show mercy,

In certain versions and original they talk about the strength and power of Asgore but in the original he seems a little less like that maybe because he truly doesn’t want to fight but this one seems like his true strength
This is what would've happened if Alphys' message to Asgore to absorb the human souls during the Undyne fight was actually delivered. A reddit post theorised that Sans had intercepted the message because the timelines would've reset to that point where almost everyone was dead and no other timeline where, as an example, Papyrus is alive would exist. Search it up, it makes a huge amount of sense with the evidence given (that I can't remember.)
Asgore actually doesn't recognize the fallen child as human. It's like Sans said: "it would be nice if you kept pretending to be one." The monsters don't believe a human, especially a child, could ever be a genocidal maniac. Asgore knows that the fallen child killed everyone in the Underground, because Flowey told him. That means that Asgore knows some monster, a REAL monster, is killing everyone. Asgore didn't need a monster SOUL, despite how powerful it is. He needed a human one, and we can tell from Undertale he doesn't like killing.

The reason the actual hard boss fights were so hard in genocide run is because in the neutral and pacifist runs, the bosses wanted to FIGHT, meaning they were willing to be fair, in the genocide run they’re trying to kill you, so they’re gonna make it as hard as possible for you to survive

If I fight like this were to happen, I'd like to imagine that Asgore calls out for help to each of the 6 human souls whenever you land a hit, altering his bullet patterns or launching a special attack based on the soul he calls.
Then for the final turn, they'd all attack together in a combo string, before an ultimate attack where the souls spin around you like in the Omega Flowey fight.
This is just DDD Asgore but in beta build
Somehow, you survive. Then you directly attack the souls, weaken Asgore and kill him.

I think it’s becuase normally between every turn there is dialogue but whoever made this didn’t code in any, so the game expects to load text, and when the text is done it goes away, so the text bubble goes away near instantly because there is no text.
Tactic for Genocide Asgore:
- Collect Item pieces first UNLESS You know You can pull of a no hit and get the fight button instead,
- If you have done item, do fight next.
- You should probably focus on fighting as genociders don’t show mercy,

I feel like this fight makes more sense than the "muh cup of tea" shtick that was pulled off in Undertale.
This is what would've happened if Alphys' message to Asgore to absorb the human souls during the Undyne fight was actually delivered. A reddit post theorised that Sans had intercepted the message because the timelines would've reset to that point where almost everyone was dead and no other timeline where, as an example, Papyrus is alive would exist. Search it up, it makes a huge amount of sense with the evidence given (that I can't remember.)
I think Toby just didn’t want to do it because after the sans fight it would have just caused everyone to rage

Asgore actually doesn't recognize the fallen child as human. It's like Sans said:
"it would be nice if you kept pretending to be one." The monsters don't believe a human, especially a child, could ever be a genocidal maniac. Asgore knows that the fallen child killed everyone in the Underground, because Flowey told him. That means that Asgore knows some monster, a REAL monster, is killing everyone. Asgore didn't need a monster SOUL, despite how powerful it is. He needed a human one, and we can tell from Undertale he doesn't like killing.
