Im having the exact same issue. Excellent job. So all you did was heat up the ram chip to reflow the solder ? Did you apply any pressure to reseat it? Thank you again for your work. Subscribed.
make sure you have tried swapping the WI Fi board first, it will cause the same fault. If the WI Fi board doesn't fix it then try reflowing the ram, make sure you have flux. Don't apply any pressure that could squish the solder balls underneath and make them touch each other which will kill it.
from what I have seen RAM usually causes green light but no lights on screen at all. Did the console work properly before the battery connector replacement?
@@chickenmaster121 I understood what the problem was: I put a 330ohm resistor to make a gameboy macro and also soldered an additional LED. Maybe I have an LED that absorbs too much current and after some time it no longer shows the images. I removed the LED, replaced it with a new 330 Ohm resistor and the image returned. I don't understand why they cause problems together...
You know it’s gunna be a good day when I’m this early to your uploads. Can’t wait to see what you grabbed from eBay 😎
I can say absolutely none of the items I got were DS lites 😂
Wow that WiFi connector lined up perfectly. Good job!
Thankyou sir
Great Video again !!!
Thanks again!

Thanks for not having loud multimeter in this...drives me nuts when that is loud and I mute videos that are like that. I much prefer your beeps.
haha yeah forgot to record the meter so I had to improvise
How much temperature did you use for reballing?
usually around 400c for reflow
I reflowed the chips but nothing. Was only able to reflow the ram chip. Could it be the apu?
Have you replaced the wi fi board first with a known working one?
@@chickenmaster121 the current wifi board and doner wifi board work on the doner console. But not on the main one.
Ok, when you did the reflow on the RAM did you push the chip to see it move at all?
@@chickenmaster121 it moved and I was able to reflow
@@chickenmaster121 However the DS still didn't work. I pressed in the leftmost corner of the DS on top of the SD card and it does boot.
Hi, I have a DS Lite and after I changed the battery connector I see the screen all white. Could it be a RAM problem?
