@@ayrshiretrainvideos8703 these are the sounds of a wild ringneck dove, who are in the free nature, didn't know you could keep those as a pet. they have a different coo and when they are flying they also a different call sound.
They are really fun. In my opinion, doves / pigeons are the best pet birds to have as pets. 1. because they are friendly. 2. because they can't hurt you badly. 3. they cute XD.
@@MeWhenTheFrogsAreFaethey have also been domesticated by humans, which is why they are easier for us to keep as pets. Parrots haven't been living in captivity long enough, I don't think.
I will have some for sale soon if your interested . They are very hard to find and I found only 2 people who did have Eurasian’s but neither were willing to sell . I caught all mine by trapping them around my neighborhood and that’s how my flock started they are pure Eurasian collared dove’s.
(I may be wrong but) I think it's a mating call and the dove wants you as her mate. The dove didn't attack but rather trying to "mate" the owner in the video......
I know that. I knew that since I first adopted this dove. Also, girl doves do not act that way. My dove is a boy. I called it an 'attack' for comedic affect.
@Donnie Ray Its a meme lol... Taxonomically there are little to no differences between "dove" and "pigeon" other than scientific nomenclature. City pigeons that are the most commonly seen are officially known as rock doves but are called pigeons. There are species and localities that are differnet in size and features to each other which can indicate whos who but for the most part, the only way to tell an animal apart is by its scientific name. You are correct that doves are smaller than pigeons.
I'm trying to find this specific coo and the meaning of it. Where I live doves always make this coo and not the others that can be seen on the internet, I can't find it.
This is an Eurasian Collared dove. They originally came from the Middle East, and they slowly populated other continents, such as Europe and North America. They’re basically all over the place!
So sorry that he passed away! And that is obviously anything but an 'angry attack'. Quite the opposite actually. Birds and bees stuff, just minus the bees! ;-)
That is a cock Eurasian collared dove, he thinks you are his mate. That is typical courtship display for a cock collared dove, they call it 'bow cooing'. He is one beautiful bird.
@@MeWhenTheFrogsAreFae that dove was so cute. I miss it a lot 😭. It was just innocently making those "warning of wrath" noises... Hopefully you post more videos of doves like that pls
Guys… I’m sorry to say that two days ago he passed away. 💔

My condolences bud...He was an amazing companion and I'm sure he appreciated having a great owner like yourself.
