Fun fact: The woman that Brian got a lift from was supposed to be in 2fast2furious playing Brians’ new love interest Monica Fuentes, but was recasted to Eva Mendez due to her getting pregnant between the shooting of this prelude.
I love the idea of Brian driving all over the country, stopping only to race and make money, then leaving to continue his travels while the law tries and fails to get him and his reputation as a formidable street racer grows. He's like an outlaw from an old western movie. A modern-day Man With No Name.
