Available and up for your consideration at JLD Auto Group is this 2016 Chevrolet Corvette Z06 C7.R Edition! As one of only 500 examples built, this one is finished in 'Corvette Racing Yellow Tintcoat' exterior paint over a 'Jet Black' suede and leather interior, and shows an incredibly low 85 miles...and also boasts the 7-speed Manual Transmission! Although additional options are not numerous for this car (due to many instances of equipment being included automatically within the C7.R edition), this example's window sticker does indicate several add-ons, starting with the Carbon Fiber Dual Roof Package. This package provides the car with a removable Carbon Fiber roof that can be replaced with a transparent glass roof, and in this example's case, both roofs are present and included with the car. A Cargo Mat and its corresponding Corvette-logo-shielded Cargo Shade are also optioned and included, as are Premium Front Floor Mats, the Battery Protection Package, a Carbon Flash Rear License Plate Holder, and a Rear Fascia Protector.
From the factory, the C7.R Edition of the C7 Z06 is loaded with equipment, notably beginning with the Z07 Performance Package. On the Z06, the Z07 Performance Package provides Carbon Ceramic Brake Calipers, GM's Level 3 Aero Kit, and Michelin Sport Cup 2 tires, which together create a tempting proposition to visit your local racetrack. In addition, the C7.R is characterized by several cosmetic features as well, starting on the exterior with Yellow-pinstriped wheels, Corvette Racing Wheel Center Caps, Yellow Brake Calipers, Special Corvette Racing graphics on the Trunklid, a Carbon Fiber Roof, and a Carbon Fiber Hood Insert. Furthermore, exposed carbon fiber finishes are carried through to the front splitter, as well as the side ground effects.
Moving into the interior, the C7.R provides more details exclusive to this specific special edition, such as C7.R-crested Competition Seats, a Suede Steering Wheel, Yellow Contrast Stitching, and Special C7.R badging upon the center controls stack and door sills. Suede Alcantara® finishes continue from the steering wheel onto the door armrests, center console, shift boot, and even onto the seat inserts. Finally, the C7.R Edition was only available on 3LZ-trim Z06s, thus meaning that all C7.Rs include creature comforts such as Memory Seating, Heated/Ventilated seats, a Premium Audio System, and GM's Performance Data and Video Recorder.
Like all C7 Z06s, the C7.R Edition is fitted with the LT4 6.2L Supercharged V8, pushing out 650hp and 650 lb-ft of torque. With this example optioned with the 7-speed manual, gear shifts are entirely tailored by the driver! A rowdy quad-tip exhaust system emits a uniquely-Corvette soundtrack, and Corvette's famous Head-up Display is also present.
Presented in excellent condition with only 85 miles, this Z06 C7.R Edition makes for a fabulously rare American sports car, and includes its original Books, Cargo Nets, Documents, C7.R Car Cover, and Key. A great addition to any Corvette or Chevrolet collector's garage!
