I was at Juilliard as a violinist and met some very talented drama students. Years later, after I became a composer for TV, I took some basic acting classes to challenge myself and really grew to appreciate what actors do as storytellers and performers. @@HowToGetIntoDramaSchool, I was there in the 80s, so I’m jealous of all of you who attended after the renovation! Lincoln Center was already cool then but the school looks absolutely gorgeous now! I’ve contributed to dozens of shows over the years but have been working in Daytime since the 90s. If you’ve ever heard of All My Children, As the World Turns, or (currently) The Young and the Restless, you will have heard my stuff. By the way, Daytime is GREAT training for actors. Pages of dialogue to memorize and shoot in a very short amount of time. So impressive!

Huhnahmai hey! Back when we were auditioning you could audition 3 times. Juilliard has since changed their policies and you can only audition up to 2 times now.
@@HowToGetIntoDramaSchool Thank you for sharing these videos. I don’t think we can only audition up to 2times now. My friend will audition for Juilliard next month as his 3rd time and I will do too as my 2nd time for the incoming class 2021 Fall.

Max times you can audition for Juilliard is twice. So how did you get to audition three times?😑😑 That’s not a possibility.
