Some religions and religious people take it to the extreme and actually turn people away for believing. They can get a bit crazy and scary. You don't have to push it down people's throat. Just stay strong in your faith and try to lead by example. Do what suits you, others will either follow or they won't. There is freewill for a reason.
Amen. If somebody wants to know about God, they'll seek Him out. It's not our place to force it on others.

I lost a friend to religion, it didn’t make me hate religion, but it hurt. They weren’t comfortable with me wanting to become a Buddhist and they wanted me to be a Christian.
I feel like JD talking about his views has helped me realise I’m not alone with the views on religion. I adore this album so much for the many messages and reliability the songs have!

Thank you for sharing this video. I have never been comfortable with religion. There were times I tried to believe it and thought that there was something wrong with for having to force myself to "believe" when it came so easily to other people. It took me time to realize that it was just man made manipulation at its finest. However, I do think it gives some people hope in times that they feel like that's all they got left. Prayer can also be seen meditating or using the law of attraction. It's just too bad that so many terrible things have been done "in the name of God".

Exactly. I'm a Christian, non denominational, I don't follow any specific religion. I have a relationship with Jesus and God. That's difficult for many to wrap their head around, unfortunately.
