Yeah it definitely helps that basically every lord nowadays has a personal skill alongside their prf, so the blueprint was already there for them this time (i guess last year lysithea and claude not having personal skills in feh at the time was holding them back lol)

As a true Archanea nut, my free pick is for Marth no questions asked, and maybe I'll spark for Gatekeeper. It's funny to think what CYL would be if only Japanese votes counted, specially concerning Marth and Gatekeeper, as I feel Japanese players would've made Brave Marth a reality way sooner and they probably wouldn't have supported Gatekeeper nearly as much as the west did, rather chosing to stand behind older FE characters. Trust me, one day or another we're getting Brave Arden. And I guess free Pelleas is nice too, just hope he escapes the F2P/Demote Infantry Red Tome curse. Speaking of which, it's about time for an Imhullu refine.
I feel like Marianne is not as good as the other 3. She's quite good, but I don't think her special skill is as good as it should be. It's as you said, maybe don't give the gravity effect or give her another effect beforehand like with L!Sigurd and Brave Marth. Or at least give her weapon the condition of 25%≥ instead of 50%≥. I'm definitely gonna try to get at least one copy of each. They're all so cool and good.
Yea, Requim feels a little over-nerfed. I feel like it would be better if it applied to all adjacent allies at a higher cooldown or something, but giving up your special slot for another unit that can't even push ahead to do anything just feels underwhelming. Maybe I'm wrong, but I don't think its a skill I'd leave on her.

An Argument can be made for Eirika, but A lot of what Marth has is what many of God swords "Mostly" have just condensed into one, and can be fucked over 12 ways til sunday if you don't have Ashera. I got Marth while going for Gatekeeper and currently stress testing him and while he's definitely good, he's not Impressive and won't stand the test of time.
Gatekeeper should be everyone's free choice if you do AR. Then again, great for PVE as well. I plan on teaming him up with F!E and P!Surtr to see if I can create a wall of tough defense, countering with tremendous power(Vegetto passive skill lol) and some self healing
I will spark for B!Eirika and then +10 her in the hero fest of may, I suggest to anyone planing in +10 to do the same it will lower the total cost and a +1 its still very good for any of the units, except Gatekeeper you may want the 2 units for that +10atk/spd in AR-D. But it's a suggestion. Good summoning and remember L!Micaiah this month, maybe.
Marth is Busted up until his allies start falling in battle. The Visible buffs he grants might make him and his allies susceptible to buff reversals such as Binding Necklace & Panic effects. Eirika is well rounded. At best, not as strong as Marth's situational best (Auto-Vantage is broken), but she's gonna be Consistent and convenient. (Anti Guard + Canto) Menace is a great C skill and Surge Sparrow completes her sustainability. However, she is very special based. Might be wise to give her a 2CD special (essentially 1) just to always have her trigger a special every combat. (30% foe Def true damage and some healing is still awesome). Marianne straight up needs something. Ok she can fight and not die, doesn't mean she can KO. Its only on player phase so she leaves herself exposed on Enemy phase so you're gonna want to use that refresh to reposition her or send someone in front of her IF it even triggers. (Requiem Dance CD should have been 2 instead or provide Damage) to make her special more valuable. She's unique, but harmonized heroes already does what she does at the push of a button with no weakness to guard and having to attack to proc. Sure they can only use it once, but one turn is all it takes to decide a battle. Gatekeeper is perfect. A Little weak in Res by himself and will get killed when targeted first, but you can support him with Flayns,Nifls, and other buffers behind him. But provides great support even if hes in the back.
Marth's weapon has some insane effects. The conditions for NFU and healing arent bad but it could be hard to get the vantage effect consistently even with his special. Marianne's special is really, really unique but the conditions are weird and it'll be hard to use effectively. No slaying on her weapon hurts too, if she had slaying + times pulse + QP she could've started with it charged. Gatekeeper's B slot is interesting but there are better weapons out there that do the same thing and more (Brave Hector) . Frankly I think he is overrated. The most unique thing he does is stop warping which will ve useful on the frontline to prevent WoM strats. Overall I think Eirika is the most solid and consistent which is good because her pool is really bloated.

One thing to mention that Eirika's B is anti-guard, except it's not. It very specifically mentions penalties instead of effects (like Byleth and Ayra do), so all this affects is the debuff that is inflicted from the likes of Ruse skills, not actually the guard effect inflicted by skills like Guard, Special Fighter or Tier 4 Stance skills. Otherwise, the gravity inflicted by Marianne's special isn't as much of a big deal as one might think at first, especially because it still allows the danced unit to warp (especially useful in teams that utilize Bride Catria, for example).

In the case of eirika 4th place in votes flat out give her the Best skills, it doesnt matter if gatekeeper has 60 defense or more if she pretty much has black luna and damage reduction
People are underestimating just how dumb the surge line of skills are. Imagine that on a speed stacked L! Sigurd with s/d trace. Or on L! Claude. I’m hoping they give it a melee restriction. On the other hand, as much as people complain about the current meta, I think that is has been pushing for a more player phase meta recently and I’m kinda hoping that melee duelists will be a valuable archetype, because this 5 year old meta of DC tanking is getting a little stale.
Nyx however retaliates the damage she reduces , I teamed her up with my Flayn and Nifl for a total of 70%reduction , She tanked a 100 damage hit from Guinivere and killed her despite her base damage beeing 0 . That was really fun . As a sacred stones collector I'll +1 Eirika and give my Marisa the new speedy DC ( I'm glad my main tanks dont need the new DC because that would be a hassle ) , Oh boy oh boy flower cap increase ..😳 this took me by surprise because i just dropped 800 Flowers on my Bunny Marisa . If i grind out my Heroic ordeals ill have enought to max out Marisa, Olivia,L!Dimitri, Flayn,Brave Hector, Fallen Edelgard ,Black Knight ,Freyja and Hot Summer Sunny Lovely Cocogoat Freyja . Then going forward ill focus on the dragon flower runner up gang : Brave Ike , Performing Arts Olivia , Mila , My Number one fan 🤗 Sharena XD , Idunn ,Winter Sothis , Nifl , Duessel ,L!Leif, Maribelle, Titania , Ashnard,Bunny Marisa ,Flyer Olivia and Leanne . I'm glad marth got an exclusive skill even if he's the 2nd place, sad it's another sword inf but the art Is amazing and he haves very strong mix phase play style as long as he's not panicking lol Eirika Will be my second choice because i love her a Lot, and she looks very fun to play with great skills, (again thanks to marth lol)

Brave Marth and Fae (refined) might make for an interesting combo because she can buff herself and others to enable Marth to tank/go off on player phase. I guess shinning emblem probably makes that unnecessary unless he only buffs allies after his special triggers?
He does the same as Fae but better. The special only grants DMG And buff for all Allies that werent in his range at the start of turn. Is a special that works without being triggered
I don't like Marianne as a character but I will say her art/outfit is appealing. Furthermore IDK why Marianne didn't get a unique skill and her "Dance", to me, is too restrictive. Kinda bad compared to the other three winners and down the line Marianne is going to be power crept by dancers who do get unique skills or better specials. @@lukasbhame9384 I diagree because what is Stopping IS from Giving another dancer a similar special that grants +1 to movement of an ally or Gives said Dancer Bonus damage. It can be argued that there are Dancer in FEH that do a better Job than Her right now but that is debatable. Regardless Her "Niche" is not very firm. Very few heros have a firm Niche in FEH due to the games Powercreep over the years. In my opinion Mariane will get powercrept within a year by a dancer with a better special and/or better skills.. Same thing can be said for the other CYL units especially Marth and Erika due to their classes being overpopulated. Gatekeeper I think will have better longevity due to his skills/Niche but again that is up for debate and FEH could introduce counters to his playstyle. This is just my opinion We can agree to disagree if you want too

Ok Marianne's special is just bad and it is probably better to change it for something else. Its too restricting and provides no bonus damage for her. Like Sigurd has a 1 cooldown special basically due to his slaying weapon and he gives +6 atk, +1 move to every ally on the field and his damage is boosted by his atk. Marianne has none of that all she has is a very restricting dance. Marianne has to be the biggest disappointment for the entire banner.
I'd disagree. 70% dmg reduction on initiation is what makes L!Claude a threat and she's effectively a dancer who can also be danced. Just because something isn't as blatantly OP as sigurd doesn't mean it's bad lmao.
I think they kinda had to restrict her special since Legendary Sigurd turned out to be too good. They kinda want to reduce easy gale force/horseback abuse that Sigurd was allowing. Sure it sucks Marianne’s unique special is limited to close range fights, but at least it does allow Marianne to be more of an offense unit and it also cannot be affected by isolation.
I’m so looking forward to pairing her with Harmonized Catria and LByleth on ARD. Quad to ensure special trigger, Omni Orders to negate the 1 movement restriction and LByleth to let her use another B skill.
The 70% damage reduction is good, the only problem I see is that, you can do galeforce better. She would prefer a galeforce type of thing into dance a lot more. But since she can't it is a huge blow to her viability. A special that doesn't do anything besides refresh an opponent and restricts them to gravity movement isn't that good when you have dances that can debuff, add movement, buff. It seems like the dance only goes off after combat, like galeforce. If she dies, it doesn't activate. So adding 0 damage or go through damage reduction really sucks.
If Gatekeeper has a superboon, neither he nor Eirika would need a duel skill to score in the 180 bst bin. Or you could give em the duel skill to score in the 185 bst bin.
Im anticipating for the cyl 3 refines. I'm SO happy with Brave Eirika and Brave Gatekeeper! Sacred Stones is in my top three favorite FE games (it's a close competition between it, Awakening, and Three Houses and the order of those them in my top three is constantly changing lol) so how Eirika turned out has me so happy and OMG GATEKEEPER. I was expecting him to be a pretty generic melee armored wall but he's so much more interesting than I ever expected? He's definitely my second pick. Marianne is also really cool, I just feel kinda bad that Marianne probably got nerfed big time thanks to L!Sigurd, and Marth sure is Marth, but just with MORE of everything, and tbh that's a little disappointing. Maybe my opinion will change once I get my hands on him, but it's hard to be excited about a sword infantry unit in feh LMAO.

I feel like gatekeeper and Erika are the best here, Marianne seems way to awkward to use, should of just gave her a special dance skill and marth might just go the way of every other red brave
They cheated Marianne so hard. The special is such a gimmick. Yeah, she can dance another dancer but she has to initiate combat first. If there's no enemy around she can't 'dance' and even then, the unit she danced has a gravity effect applied to them, which limits their options even further. Any Enemy unit running Pulse Smoke, Guard, or a Tier 4 stance skill is basically going to shut down her entire game plan and make it very hard for her to activate her special. She desperately needs Flashing Blade or Special Spiral just to do something that Peony could do for you. I've seen some people say that she's broken, some people say she's terrible...I guess we'll have to see but I'm not convinced AT ALL that she'll be as meta-defining as some people think. The special is too restrictive and her skills aren't really all that special. Like, compare how many effects Eirika has in her kit (Guard negation, defense negation for all special, Canto, armor and cav effectiveness, damage mitigation, etc.) and compare it to Marianne and Marianne start to look like the banner's demote. And she was the *first place winner.*
Her best use is probably in catria ball since everyone has orders so you can bypass her restriction she could be used in galeforce but then she can't run nfu since she will need won so she might just get screwed and not trigger her dance and probably won't kill
Just me saying out loud, if they are giving 2nd place unique skills as well, 1st place should get 2 unique skills in that case, they are 1st place after all

For what it's worth, Jorge got a prf last year, and If *he* can get a prf for the Brave ghb, I am pretty sure Pelleas can can too.

On paper, I think the vantage effect can be pretty consistent considering Shining Emblem gives a total of 72 bonus to all 3 allies

It very specifically mentions penalties instead of effects (like Byleth and Ayra do), so all this affects is the debuff that is inflicted from the likes of Ruse skills, not actually the guard effect inflicted by skills like Guard, Special Fighter or Tier 4 Stance skills.
Otherwise, the gravity inflicted by Marianne's special isn't as much of a big deal as one might think at first, especially because it still allows the danced unit to warp (especially useful in teams that utilize Bride Catria, for example).

In the case of eirika 4th place in votes flat out give her the Best skills, it doesnt matter if gatekeeper has 60 defense or more if she pretty much has black luna and damage reduction

On the other hand, as much as people complain about the current meta, I think that is has been pushing for a more player phase meta recently and I’m kinda hoping that melee duelists will be a valuable archetype, because this 5 year old meta of DC tanking is getting a little stale.

The unusual vote of this year maybe has make them reconsider giving pref skill to all 4 winner, which is a total win for the next year.
Nyx however retaliates the damage she reduces , I teamed her up with my Flayn and Nifl for a total of 70%reduction , She tanked a 100 damage hit from Guinivere and killed her despite her base damage beeing 0 . That was really fun .
As a sacred stones collector I'll +1 Eirika and give my Marisa the new speedy DC ( I'm glad my main tanks dont need the new DC because that would be a hassle ) ,

I'm glad marth got an exclusive skill even if he's the 2nd place, sad it's another sword inf but the art Is amazing and he haves very strong mix phase play style as long as he's not panicking lol

Brave Marth and Fae (refined) might make for an interesting combo because she can buff herself and others to enable Marth to tank/go off on player phase.
I guess shinning emblem probably makes that unnecessary unless he only buffs allies after his special triggers?
He does the same as Fae but better. The special only grants DMG And buff for all Allies that werent in his range at the start of turn.

I don't like Marianne as a character but I will say her art/outfit is appealing. Furthermore IDK why Marianne didn't get a unique skill and her "Dance", to me, is too restrictive. Kinda bad compared to the other three winners and down the line Marianne is going to be power crept by dancers who do get unique skills or better specials. Idk She's could have been better..Probably going to make gatekeeper my free pics. his kit looks like fun Any way that's my 2 cents
She has a really firm niche, which makes me believe that she will have more longevity than the others
@@lukasbhame9384 I diagree because what is Stopping IS from Giving another dancer a similar special that grants +1 to movement of an ally or Gives said Dancer Bonus damage. It can be argued that there are Dancer in FEH that do a better Job than Her right now but that is debatable. Regardless Her "Niche" is not very firm. Very few heros have a firm Niche in FEH due to the games Powercreep over the years. In my opinion Mariane will get powercrept within a year by a dancer with a better special and/or better skills.. Same thing can be said for the other CYL units especially Marth and Erika due to their classes being overpopulated. Gatekeeper I think will have better longevity due to his skills/Niche but again that is up for debate and FEH could introduce counters to his playstyle. This is just my opinion We can agree to disagree if you want too

Ok Marianne's special is just bad and it is probably better to change it for something else. Its too restricting and provides no bonus damage for her. Like Sigurd has a 1 cooldown special basically due to his slaying weapon and he gives +6 atk, +1 move to every ally on the field and his damage is boosted by his atk. Marianne has none of that all she has is a very restricting dance. Marianne has to be the biggest disappointment for the entire banner.
I'd disagree. 70% dmg reduction on initiation is what makes L!Claude a threat and she's effectively a dancer who can also be danced. Just because something isn't as blatantly OP as sigurd doesn't mean it's bad lmao.
I think they kinda had to restrict her special since Legendary Sigurd turned out to be too good. They kinda want to reduce easy gale force/horseback abuse that Sigurd was allowing. Sure it sucks Marianne’s unique special is limited to close range fights, but at least it does allow Marianne to be more of an offense unit and it also cannot be affected by isolation.
I’m so looking forward to pairing her with Harmonized Catria and LByleth on ARD. Quad to ensure special trigger, Omni Orders to negate the 1 movement restriction and LByleth to let her use another B skill.
The 70% damage reduction is good, the only problem I see is that, you can do galeforce better. She would prefer a galeforce type of thing into dance a lot more. But since she can't it is a huge blow to her viability. A special that doesn't do anything besides refresh an opponent and restricts them to gravity movement isn't that good when you have dances that can debuff, add movement, buff. It seems like the dance only goes off after combat, like galeforce. If she dies, it doesn't activate. So adding 0 damage or go through damage reduction really sucks.

I'm SO happy with Brave Eirika and Brave Gatekeeper! Sacred Stones is in my top three favorite FE games (it's a close competition between it, Awakening, and Three Houses and the order of those them in my top three is constantly changing lol) so how Eirika turned out has me so happy and OMG GATEKEEPER. I was expecting him to be a pretty generic melee armored wall but he's so much more interesting than I ever expected? He's definitely my second pick.
Marianne is also really cool, I just feel kinda bad that Marianne probably got nerfed big time thanks to L!Sigurd, and Marth sure is Marth, but just with MORE of everything, and tbh that's a little disappointing. Maybe my opinion will change once I get my hands on him, but it's hard to be excited about a sword infantry unit in feh LMAO.

They cheated Marianne so hard. The special is such a gimmick. Yeah, she can dance another dancer but she has to initiate combat first. If there's no enemy around she can't 'dance' and even then, the unit she danced has a gravity effect applied to them, which limits their options even further.
Any Enemy unit running Pulse Smoke, Guard, or a Tier 4 stance skill is basically going to shut down her entire game plan and make it very hard for her to activate her special. She desperately needs Flashing Blade or Special Spiral just to do something that Peony could do for you. I've seen some people say that she's broken, some people say she's terrible...I guess we'll have to see but I'm not convinced AT ALL that she'll be as meta-defining as some people think. The special is too restrictive and her skills aren't really all that special. Like, compare how many effects Eirika has in her kit (Guard negation, defense negation for all special, Canto, armor and cav effectiveness, damage mitigation, etc.) and compare it to Marianne and Marianne start to look like the banner's demote. And she was the *first place winner.*
I will say compared to the other CYL heroes' books worth of effects, she seems kinda underwhelming. I think she'll be really strong though
Her best use is probably in catria ball since everyone has orders so you can bypass her restriction she could be used in galeforce but then she can't run nfu since she will need won so she might just get screwed and not trigger her dance and probably won't kill
