Thank you so much. I definitely learn best by watching, my brain doesn’t like written instructions so your tutorials are a real blessing with so many ‘lightbulb’ moments.♥️
What a triumph! Truly delicious designs :) I know what you mean about the wood-mounted background stamps not always giving an even imprint. I ripped mine off their mountings in the end so finger pressure could be used which makes a huge difference. I'm really enjoying your channel; you have a lovely personality & I've learnt so much, thank you :)
Thank you for your wonderful comments, in future if you want to take more stamps off wooden blocks, if you pop them in the microwave for a short while it melts the glue a little and they will come off really easily without any damage
@@Chrissieannie Thank you, I wish I'd known that! Fortunately the red rubber ones are pretty robust, but I'd much prefer to be able to remove them without having to stretch them :)
If you pop them in the microwave a little at a time (so add not to cook them), they simply peel off, then they can be used in a stamping platform, where you can overprint accurately if you don't get a perfect impression the first time.😊
I know what you mean...stamping with the card on some foam helps, and if you are really careful, you can flip the card and stamp over and press with your fingers on the back of the paper to get an even print.
Beautiful cards. I need to start compiling a list of techniques with the name of your video as when i go to try something I have forgotten what to do!!! 😬❤️
Thank you so much Christine, I really really enjoyed watching you creating this gorgeous and stunning card. I really really love ❤️ the result’s so elegant and stylish too. I’m binge watching you now!!!!!!! Please stay safe and well too xxx Mags
Thanks Christine for showing how you made this card. I saw it on Facebook and, being one of those people who need to see in the flesh how things are made, was over the moon when I saw this video, and appreciate you going to the trouble of making it xx
@@Chrissieannie Ramble on Christine please! I’ve watched some crafting videos over the years and yours are the most natural and enjoyable ones I’ve ever seen. Every time you post one on UA-cam I get such a buzz and just know there will be something exciting in store xx
Absolutely gorgeous! Found you a couple of weeks ago and can’t get enough of watching your videos! So much I am learning from you. Thanks for sharing your talent!💜💞💞💞
You hit it out of the ballpark again Chrissy. I have done the emboss resist technique but always just wiped it with a paper towel not a baby wipe. That does a much better job - thank you for yet another useful tip!!!!! Awesome card.
Lovely and afordable achevable with what we all have in our stash and i just love the way your stamping space gets smaller and smaller as you go on lol just like mine .I end up doing a 6 inch card in 4 inch space even though lol got a 6 foot table space have you ever watched jennifer maguire fantastic cards although she sometimes uses about £100 worth of equipment to make one card lol xxx Ann golding

Really appreciate your tips for making this card. I don't think I would have realized that I needed to leave the stencil in place while wiping the excess ink off the embossing. I'm always in such a hurry to clean the stencil. Both these cards are beautiful.
Oh my, Christine, your card is so beautiful 😍, I have only just came across your site, and so glad i have, im completely new and learning and wow, your demo and card is superb, thanks so much for sharing and look forward to seeing more of your videos x

Hi Christine, Thank you so much for another idea for a CAS card. I have enjoyed your video and I would love to try this but I have never used Mylar and made my own stencils please can you tell me should I be looking for a definite thickness? I think I have this butterfly die and I love how you have used it and one of my daughters has a birthday soon so would love to make it for her. So pleased you enjoyed your Holiday and envious of your lovely tan. xx
I think the Mylar I have is 250 microns. Make sure you use a large enough piece to mask all of the card apart from the butterfly area. Have fun... It was a great holiday!
Fabulous video and stunning card! Love the technique & I think I even have that beautiful die...bonus time! So enjoy your videos and the slight differences in our English! You say "a dhesive" and we say "ad.hesive". Makes you wonder how that happened through the years....LOL!

Hi Christine! Loved the video! I’m thinking of using this lovely design or something similar for a wedding card. I think it would be lovely! Thanks for sharing and I’ve just subscribed 😃
Another great card, excuse my ignorance but would it work just as well if you cut the butterfly base out of pattered paper and embossed it in white then put the filigree on top then stick the whole thing onto your card then cut overlaps off. Just my brain whirling away
