I forgotten all about my stamping foam. Watching your previous videos is surely a great reminder Ms.Chrissie. Hoping you’re resting & recuperating from your Caribbean trip. Bye for now👋🏻
Oh my Christine - you have me giggling again 🤭about the paper being on the floor and have been rolled over with your wheels. Goodness, that would be me too. LOVE the dragon flies! They have always been my favorite. Use of leaf veins is VERY creative too. Using nature with card art. You truly are a woman after my own heart. We have huge dragonflies up here on the mountain - about 5" across their wings. Sat one evening and watched about 20 of them fly about in the sunset - wings all gold with the setting sunlight - magnificent. You GO girl - great job!! Keep up the great job!!
I have a couple of Zig pens and I've never used them! I wasn't sure what to do. You are the only person I have seen using them so thank you! I can smell the mint on your lovely card!
This is the second time I’ve watched this video and I think I enjoyed it more than the first viewing. What a creative idea with the leaves and it is so realistic looking. You come up with the greatest ideas. That foam is fantastic, I have used it as well. Well back to bed it is 4:25 my time in Ontario Canada.
Fabulous card! I’m so stoked (pun intended) 😁 as I have that background die and the dragonfly from STAMPlorations. WooHoo. I do not have any mint leaves and here in Florida one does not bring foliage into the house. Never know what kind of ‘no-see-em’ bugs you bring in with the leaves. Love all of your clean and simple card layouts you share with us. Hugs
So glad you won the battle with the technology Chris and many thanks for another technique video. Your clear, concise instructions are always easy to follow. I shall order some stamping foam so that I can give it a try.
Hello, Christine. New to your channel and so happy to have found you. Not a newbie to cardmaking, but been in a bit of a slump creatively. You already have opened my mind to a ton of ideas! I love your style. Thank you for sharing.😉
Damselflies. What a lovely name. I think I may have forgotten they exist in real life. Another brilliant idea, Christine. So glad I found your channel. I have so much mint...an embarrassment of riches. it's always grown wild in my yard. I even have stamping foam as I mistakenly purchased it instead of stamping felt for a technique I wanted to try. And, of course, I have dragon/damselfly dies. Have a lovely day/night.
Cool idea. Since you are cutting the pieces out, I think that if you cut off the stem end of the leaves a bit more, the smaller veining might be more prominent in view vs. the larger veins at the stem end of the mint...I found some stamping sponges that work the same as these at Goodwill on Sunday, I think this might be fun to try... :) Thank you! Blessings!
So creative and beautiful! I have both mint and sage and will experiment with both when I return home. Sage has a very delicate vein in it. I love the prints I've made with it and I think it might work well with this.
What a brilliant idea. We have a lovely Rose bush in our garden, so I might take a leaf from that and see how it goes. I love the effect you created, it’s fab. Thank you for another amazing project. Love to you and to all - Dawn 🌅
Oh, I love this idea. I was wondering what it would look like if you just inked up the leaves, would that work even. You would have an inverted effect. Either way, I love the fact that you come up with these fabulous ways of doing things. Thinking out of the box. It’s true creativity when you do things like this.
Absolutely amazing! You share the most creative ways of using just about anything! I love press n seal, a great product! Your card is gorgeous! Thanks for sharing another awesome project! Hugs!💜🤗
That's cool, I haven't stamped leaves in a long time. I think it would look really interesting to have a direct stamp of the leaves as well. Then the "veins" of the dragon fly would be dark and everything else light. Very nice, thanks.
Great idea to add to block. I was thinking if you had a smaller block, you can wrap it around, and tape to the top of block and pick up leaf. Then you can reuse the press and seal-it can be used more than once.
Wow Chris how do you do it? What a fantastic idea that you turned into an amazing technique, which ended up with a stunning card into the bargain. I’m itching to have a go, although I don’t possess any PressnSeal, but will try and adapt something else. Thank you for taking the time to share this gem 🥰 xx
Wow I love it, you are so clever, Please don't ever give up doing your video's I really don't know what I would do without your beautiful card's and your tips that you give, can you tell me where I can purchase the honeycomb die from please, 🙂🤗
How very cool! I’m so glad I came across your channel last week! I really love your style of cardmaking and your skill in paper crafting in general! It might have been Jennifer McGuire’s channel that introduced you to Press ‘n’ Seal™️ . She introduced its use in cardmaking if I’m not mistaken and uses it fairly often. As an added bonus, her husband _invented_ it! He works for the corporation that makes it as an engineer, I believe, and doesn’t - does NOT- get any royalties off of the selling of it. It’s just a remarkable coincidence.
Thanks for all this info…I think you’re right it may have been a floating die technique where I first heard about press n seal! I’m pleased you are enjoy my videos. Long may it continue! 😊😊😊
@@Chrissieannie what is the name of the die with holes. I went on sizzix site and couldnt figure a name so couldnt find it. Would love to get that die if it's still available..
What a great idea! It gives such a unique textured look to the dragon fly. What is the name and brand of the die you are using to make the random dots/holes? I love the look of the different color variations (layer underneath) showing thru the holes. These are beautiful cards. TFS
@@Chrissieannie Good grief. I feel like an IDIOT! Had I paid attention, I would have seen the information I requested posted under your name. I hit the "show more" and assumed I would see it there. Duh..... Thank you so much for your reply! I guess I need to change my name to: CLUELESS
Great card and Idea! i would have never thought that one could make a stamping foam impression of mint leaves. Bye the bye I think people want to know the specific background die you used, which I am pretty sure is part of this set: Sizzix Thinlits Die Set 4PK - Mixed Media #1 by Tim Holtz #660220

So clever!!! That’s interesting to hear that press & seal isn’t available in the UK.
It is available, that’s how I got it… from Amazon, but it’s not readily available in grocery stores!
How beautiful… I wonder what will happen if you stamped immediately with the leaves…
The leaves can leave a great direct print too!
Fabulous idea and stunning cards you have created x tfs and happy crafting

How interesting and creative. Are the dies available in the US, and what is the company name again? Cutflorations?
The dragonfly is by Cutplorations stamplorations.com/miscellaneous-dies/p/dragonfly-layering-dies
Do you remember what die you used for the small holes for your card?
It was a Sizzix from a set of 4 #660220A
