Diluc was my first five star. I got him on the standard banner around when I first started playing. It was REALLY lucky role considering I had almost no clue how banners worked and I had practically no pity. I was upset at the time bc I didn’t realize how good he was and I just didn’t like him. Now he’s carried me to AR 50 and I’m incredibly grateful for him.

Diluc, Xingqiu, Bennett and Zhongli is one of my favourite comps just because of the raw uninterrupted damage it provides. Plus it’s pretty dynamic throughout the entirety of the spiral abyss.
I hate how Im only missing Bennett...

Ayeeee that’s basically what I use although I JUST pulled Benny yesterday so I’m still kinda building him but I had Keqing instead of him for a while, kinda just swapping Diluc and Keqing as DPS and using Xingqiu and Zhongli to back her up when Pyro wasn’t ideal. She’s my only built Electro unit and was the first 5* I pulled (Diluc the next day) so I’ve used them together since the very beginning xD

i didn't know chongyun and diluc works well together, i just use them both because they're cute😂😂
they really don't, bc after diluc's ult - he has pyro normal attacks so he cannot aply cryo with chon E, unless u constantly swap between them when normal attacking which is a lot of downtime.
@@lokilaufeyson7035 Indeed, I have no idea why he placed that comp as #1. I think Xingqiu would be much more useful than Chongyun, for constantly proccing Vaporize.

Chongyun is great. Advantage: Melt > Vaporize. Disadvantage: Need to be careful when to use Ult and less damage on Autoattacks otherwise since Cryo (made up for by Melt)
Xinqiu is also really good: Vaporize is worse than Melt for total damage, but he is fast enough to vaporize basically every single attack Diluc throws out, and allows him to make full use of his Pyro% and Ult. He also has damage reduction and a bit of healing build in, so overall id say he is the strongest support.
Another decent option is Kaeya actually. His Q is probably the best for Diluc Melt procs. The downside is the uptime and cost.

Hello! The way you present info is nicely structured, well done! Not too sure about Comp 2 combo tho: you don't want Fischl to hit mobs with Q early, because Mona's ult amplifies the first hit within Omen duration, and Diluc is most likely be better invested + guaranteed good vaporize proc.

So question. How does Jean compare to Venti and Sucrose in terms of cc/grouping? I usually hold e on Jean then knock them all up straight into the air to get them grouped but is there a more efficient method in comparison to Venti and Sucrose? Thanks
Jean’s role in the team isn’t to group, it’s to provide both healing and short bursts, depending on how you build her. Unlike Venti and Sucrose, she doesn’t have a real skill to group them. It is not viable to use her to group, as she uses too much stamina and it will be hard to maintain this level of grouping in domains/abyss floors in which stamina is already scarce (e.g floor 12). Because of this, Jean is a comparatively worse grouper/cc bot than Venti or Sucrose.
Jean's most notable ability is her burst which cleanses constantly, followed by the falling dmg caused by her E.

Dropped sucrose for me yesterday, which is the next best thing to venti for diluc.
Do the dragonspine festering sword quests and event, it drops a BOATLOAD of free primogems while easily levelling a free 4 star sword.

I would like to ask for recommend weapons like the Fishl video for future characters and redo of videos.
Prototype Aminus, the one you can craft, it is the best free to play weapon for him, good base atk, good secondary stat and effect it awesome when it procs
Really wanna see a video for a team around qiqi. She's been my main dps and healing for awhile now. I have her paired with xiangling as a secondary dps and elemental reaction, I just got klee and an experimenting with her as another dps maybe, as well as having 2 pyros on my team now for the extra damage over all. And lastly is Beidou for quick burst damage with her E as well as somewhat of a tank

razor fischl xiangling and barbara seems to work the best for me. overload and electro-charged as the main reactions combos. if you don’t have fischl there’s an event in a few days you can get her for free in. hope this helps haha
Razor as a phys dps + QiQi or Kaeya to proc superconduct
I was using razor, kaeya, mona and bennett, had to improvise a bit since I didn't have a lot of ch... but it worked pretty well and I was doing 600 dmg with razor sometimes a bit more, depending on the combos
Something thats working well for me is that if you're using the 1st team comp, is to proc at least one enemy with cryo, then use sucrose e to affect the other enemies, then diluc burst.

Great guide! Hope you make one for Mona. Fyi Aarchaic Petra set is mistranslated, it gives 35% elemental dmg buff to your team depending on shard element, so it could be good dmg buff to Diluc.

Chongyun is in a weird spot. his field converts melee to ice so it ruins alot of characters dps but gains them attack speed. also cyro doesnt have a artifact set to make them a good carry or main damage dealer. His ultimate is not great it just doesnt do great damage but you get to use it alot. His constellations arent great. I would say he is an average character but could become a better one in future with cyro artifacts/cryo teamates who deal huge cyro damage.

@@kylemenos Only reason his field mattered was due to physical DMG, but now we now that only really applies to Razor and somewhat Keqing.
For Diluc and Bennett, Chongyun is amazing. They don't use physical DMG, so the cryo autos don't matter, and their skills are pyro with low cooldown, so melt happens very often.
His Burst does very decent damage, as each hit can do melt damage, AND crit.
Great video, please do one for Xiangling or Razor as the carry next! :)
Is the first team comp viable if I switch Chong with C6 fischl ( who would you recommend), I refuse to let the fire resonance go ( to good of a buff),also I’ve been having a hard time choosing between C0 venti or C4 sucrose.

Gaming beginner here: I find your videos incredibly interesting and helpful. For me another example that gamers have to be very intelligent. I have a question tho: I watched your "biggest mistakes" video and it says you shouldn't waste mora and stuff on building many characters/weapons/artifacts. Instead you should rather focus on a main team. I focus on diluc, Chongyun, xiangling, qiqi. I have sucrose too but I wouldn't have a healer if I used her and I don't wanna use sucrose and qiqi bc they both are supporting characters. But this leaves me with two pyro, two ice which isn't very useful in the abyss/other spheres where you should have more elements at hand.
I just don't understand how you can create a good group that works for single bosses AND for mobs AND for spheres. For example I am stuck at the end of the quest "in the mountains", where I'm finally at the top portal point but there are weird flying ruin monsters which I can't reach without a character that can shoot bows. But my fischl is underleveled bc I can't level all my characters.
Maybe someone can give me a tip 😭

I got lucky and rolled Keqing on my 3rd wish ever.
Now on my first 90 pity wish I got Diluc!
I'm almost entirely F2P, spend maybe 10 bucks a month on it.
But thanks to your videos I've turned my keqing into an electro MONSTER main DPS, and now diluc will do that for my "second" team.

Diona is new to the game and I’m just curious if her shield plus cyro, and healing is a better fit with diluc now than chongyun?
Diluc need some one do consistent debuff for a long time cuz his skills are take some time, like fischl/chongyun/xingqiu. I think Diona is a very interesting choice for Diluc. But her biggest issue is only her Q deal consistent cryo, and it's cost 80 energy, so C1 is necessary. Chongyun can do that easily with his E. I think her better choice is Razor: shield, superconduct, healing is massive boost for him and does not depend too much on her Q.

For team comp 1, xingqui would be much better as a sub dps rather than chongyun since diluc can vaporize each swing with xq burst
bro I think it's kinda wrong a bit, xingqiu shoot water water aftef you auto attack :v so he'll do vapo ( when diluc use burst turn his attack to pyro). But well I know what you mean, without burst diluc just hit then E to do vapo. In the end I still prefer chongyun, Ez and simple

Sacrificial is a must for Xingqiu don't care if it's level 1. The Sacrificial I got twice is the Claymore. Damn!
I literally was using the team comp 4 before watching this video lmaoo also random combo for xiangling and Jean which I find works well for clearing out small hilichurl camps is to use guoba and then switching to Jean and holding down on her charged attack. It lifts them all in the air and roast them dealing some effective damage lol. Then again I haven’t reached AR 40 yet so i don’t know how it does late game.

Diluc for main damage

Just saw this and Razors guide that you made. Literally realized im world level 5 and have all of Dilucs optimal units built and not most of Razors. I dont even have Diluc. Oops
Ok, I'd like to ask for some advice on my team comps, because I just got the point where too many of my characters are supposedly "too good" in general, or with the other characters I want to use and I don't know if I should invest in the new ones.
My teams are:
Diluc, Albedo, Benett, Fischl (In general)
Diluc, Albedo, Benett, Chongyun (Against Electro)
Razor, Albedo, Benett, Chongyun(/Fischl, since I've been farming Clear Pool and Mountain Cavern) (Against Pyro)
Diluc, Chongyun, Benett, Fischl (Against Geo)
All of these characters are lvl55 and I just got adventure rank 40. Benett is C2, Fischl, Chongyun and Razor are C1, Diluc and Albedo are C0.
Just got Xinqiu, so I'm thinking of switching Fischl and Chongyun out for him (except against hydro enemies, where I'd still use Fischl), is he worth it at this stage of the game? But I also got Sucrose recently and she's supposedly really good too, but I don't know how I could fit her in anywhere and still have good elemental reactions.
(I also have Xiangling (C4), Barbara(C1), Noelle and Xinyan but I don't think they fit anywhere, or that they are needed)
I also have way too good artifacts for Albedo (compared to my other characters at least), especially with Festering Desire, he just deals too much dmg too frequently to not use anywhere I can.
Fischl is pretty easy to artifact at this stage of the game, so she's pretty decent too, especially with The Stringless (Ref2), that's why I'm a bit reluctant to build up Xinqiu to switch her out. I don't have a Sacrificial Sword or any other 4* (or 5*) energy recharge sword (besides Festering on Albedo ofc), only 4* I have is Lion's Roar and The Flute.
And Diluc is Diluc.
I'm also NOT at the point where I have the proper sets on my units. I've been trying to get a half decent Noblesse set for Benett for like the past month.
So, am I too narrow minded or stubborn to think about new comps, or are these good enough and I should just focus on them?

actually that is the basic standard Diluc comp or should I say the no. 1 Diluc team in the game imo Diluc, Xianling, Fishl, barbara... were both the same... my 2nd team consist of Razor main, Qiqi, kequing, Mona..
I choose razor over Kequing as 2nd main dps cuz everyone knows that claymore users are OP in terms of clearing mobs faster.. specially in Sprial abbyss... fcking time limit 😑

I think the best comp for Diluc overall is Diluc, Xiangling (C1+), Venti/Sucrose, and finally Qiqi. It's just stupid good with the CC and constant melt and healing that procs whenever you hit an enemy affected by the seal.

I use comp 4 with barbara rather then Jean and Comp 6. Working on lvl up my Venti might give that a try at some point.

Pretty lucky I'd say
Largest amount of results with minimal amount of effort with how simple his kit is and the fact that he is pyro, has innate crit rate upon ascension, and has pretty good synergies with f2p units.
Also, my financial situation doesn't allow me to say that 50 bucks is minimal spending (i'm dirt poor) but people have different circumstances, so yeah.
I’d say that was not very smart.. I got diluc on my first 2nd 10 pull in the beginning of the game. Just save ur gems atleast for 10 or save them until the end of the banner days for u can have a lot of gems

I have a similar comp to team #5, but instead of beidou it is c6 fischl, i usually run this against bosses since then i can electro charge them and do both vaporize and overloaded at the same time

Xingqiu is far better, run 4p noblesse on bennet and Xingqiu 2p noblesse 2p hydro set, Xingqiu does ALOT more damage, and is the only unit who can keep up with diluc well

it's all about character availability, it's okay if you go with that but sucrose is without a doubt the best pick if you have her

With my xiangling 5 con, diluc does an insane amount of damage tks to the lower fire resis on gouba
How is comp 4 going for you? I have the same compostion with sucrose as my anemo, but yesterday i got jean and as a f2p its such a waste not to use her. Is she compatible with diluc? Or does her skill synergizes better than sucrose's? An insight will be much appreciated thanks! ☺️

Me with 2 reroll accs with diluc. One with the Team comp 1 just missing the bennet, and another with the waifu buff beidou, is it obvious yet which one ill choose even if it means ill have a harder time in abyss?
Im currently playing Diluc, Bennet, ZhongLi and Qiqi. I find the comp indestructible as the Pyro resonance adds attack dmg, zhong's shield is great defense and stun and I also buffed his planet befall. Qjqi's is for healing and buffed her fortune preserving talent to decrease enemie's defense

I also run a diluc team, with: diluc, qiqi, fischl and xaing. When diluc is down on his e and q i use qiqi e to heal up team along with fischl e for super conduct. Then xiang for q for added damage. This comp shreads and is unkillable due to qiqi's great heals with auto attack.
This gives you options for overload, melt and super conduct. And vaporize when its either raining or fighting near water. IMHO the best synergies available in game atm.
Isn't Xingqiu better than Chongyun ? Chong become useless when you activate Diluc ult, where Xingqiu consistantly apply evaporate when Diluc auto

As a F2P Im Currently running with Diluc-Fischl-Xiangling-Sucrose but just yesterday I luckily got Jean with single pull in klee banner. Ive been searching for team line ups that synergizes well around Diluc and this video was great. I just want to know if Jean is worth ascending since i already have sucrose and im currently at AR33 and wasting exp mats to heroes i will not be using will be such a bad move. Any thoughts would help a lot. Cheers!
i made a team with characters i barely used ( diluc, chonghyun, sayu, diona ) and omg diluc + chong is a amazing duo
i use him, chong, barb and fischl- but i don't really use fischl as much as i should so i'm pulling for venti! :))

would diluc, mona, kujou sara/lisa, and sucrose be a good team? i have lisa maxed out but i hate having so many catalyst users on my main team :/ i have kaeya maxed as well but i hate his e if i’m being honest, he’s just a slow character for my team and play style, which is why i prefer mona for that position. i don’t have a fischl, and while i do want a healer, the only healers i have are bennett and barbara- i could buff diluc with bennett i suppose, but then i’d be leaving out an elemental reaction opportunity, though i suppose having a buff backup in general would be nice, so i might level him up just in case… i’m F2P btw if it’s not obvious lol
I just use whatever I have since I'm a F2P but I really like the Diluc, Beidou, Chongyung and Barbara team because they all help Diluc in some way😍😍 though I'm thinking of changing Chongyung with Xianling to have that extra pyro dmg 😏🥴
