For me, Beidou is not bad with Childe as her ult is good for proc-ing electro charge too but Fischl is still better.

i mostly pulled for Ning copies, I got childe on one my alt accounts he's fun to play, but main dps LOL no, he needs party truly around him make that work, personally being bow user best he be is sub dps at most or ulitity, id just use him for water damage and giving your main dps +1 auto attack

My beidou is still lvl 30 and when in world 2 her retribution kept getting dirupted that make me stop using her :( should i build her? My current team is childe fischl xiangling and chongyun

Thank you for making a team build guide that isn't *"USE CHILE DILUC QIQI AND MONA PEPEGA"* and actually providing practical builds that f2p (AND low spenders tbh) can actually use.
And that build isnt even the best for synergy. Imo the whale build with childe, mona, sucrose, bennet|chongyun, beidou, childe, fischl|childe, xingqiu maz constellation, fischl, chonyun| or whatever would be better.
but I don’t have Diluc and Qiqi ;-;

Use sucrose it's really gonna help childe and Noelle that heals the other 2 should be beidou and xianling well if you get beidou

Xiangling+Childe isn't as good for Childe, as Xiangling ends up procing vaporise more than Childe
Edit: Even though Childe doesn't proc the vaporise, as you saw, it's still probably the strongest reaction usable with Childe; electro-charge as well.

@@pengwins2111 Maybe you're thinking that you will wait for Gouba to attack first then childe? This only works for the first attack because the monster still has no elements applied. In the middle of the fight, the monster has already hydro because of Childe and when Gouba will attack him, Vaporize will trigger because of Gouba/Xiangling. You still have to switch character to remove that hydro but it will not be worth it as it removes him from his Melee Stance.
@@pengwins2111 no because childes riptide will re apply hydro, so the next vaporize will be xianglings bear
Use Bennett and Childe even those two can hit 100k dmg.
Xiangling is optional if you don't have bennett in the team.

Childe is such a complicated character, took me 2 days to figure out the best out of him. as f2p n still low ar with limited resource, here's what i found.
childe + electro works rly well on melee form, as electro will spread among mobs. i use fischl for oz to deal most of the dmg, then just spam auto in melee, and beido for electro shield if needed + 1 healer.
for bossing, pyro is preferable, vaporize is rly great, u can use bennet for aura (sadly i dont have it with childe atm), or just xiangling then ULT in range, then spam ur melee then ULT in melee.
btw his aim shot + riptide is crazy too

Beidou burst combined with Childe melee stance is really good too

His burst is a flat hydro dps buff that can even out damage Bennett’s burst because it’s mobile. Not to mention Xingqiu’s burst also applied a debuff to enemies reducing their hydro resistance by 15%. Pair that with the fact that his rain swords even provide a tiny bit of healing for extra utility. He is one of the best supports for Childe. Period
Also adding Barbara to that team comp is excellent too because Barbara can buff hydro damage by 15% as well. Throw Qiqi for freeze and overkill healing or Fischl for Oz to just rip and tear through mobs

I use Kaeya ult, Child melee and then Diluc. Idk if this is the best for him but I'm still building them and husbando team >>

I knooow and I will pull for him but he most likely won't fit in my team 💀 with Kaeya, Childe and Diluc I bring Barbara so she is the healing mage. Plus 2 hydro team comp give + healing and less pyro damage for my self burning Diluc. Loosing that for another melee with a geo shield is hmm 😕

I went with Diluc, Childe, Fischl, Barbara (defensive) or Xiangling (offensive). The damage is absolutely insane. Just get Sacrificial Bow on him, you don't need to worry much about his Elemental skill CD, since you'll want Diluc to finish the job with his massive dps. You could swap Bennett or Razor if you don't have Diluc.
Building for vaporize seems silly for Childe. His damage comes from a lot of hits, not big hits. With the cooldown on vaporize, he'll probably get the bonus from about one out of every four to five hits. His burst does deal a lot, but it is also dealt over multiple hits while in melee form. If there's a bonus for Vaporize then sure, go for it, but it doesn't seem like a good focus outside of specific areas.
Electro-charge on the other hand seems much better for him. It has a much shorter cooldown and you have way more options of characters to pair him with - Beidou, Fish, and Lisa are your main girls to consider.
But his burst does a lot of damage, i run a vaporize comp with klee as my main so everyone is on fire and then i use childe's ult to proc vaporize.
It seems better than xiangling imo bcse it's the water that triggers the reaction so it does more damage
I do both I have Fish and Ben so for his burst I trigger vaporize but regularly I just just put down Fishes skill. Electro Charge along with riptide slash rips through enemies.
burst does a lot, but main issue people forget he is bow user, he's never going shine compared to melee character and his E has longer cool down the longer you stay in that mode, he's really cool and unique character came to game, but he never be more then sub dps or just unit to have to boost up your actual main dps, his passive is amazing though getting +1 normal attacks is amazing great at lease have him there for you diluc, keqing, etc.
It will also always be Xiangling that triggers vaporize due to the speed at which Childe applies wet. So this won't support him at all.
constelation 6 fischl to add that electro dmg on all his fast hits and also proc electro charged on everything
thank you for this video man, it really helps as someone running him as main dps. i’ll probably opt for comp 3 unless i completely luck out and get jean/zhongli when rolling for chongyun constellations but it still seems like a very strong comp to run on him
If u have fischle or beidou use it instead of xianling pls pyro not good with childe
Childe / Xingqui / Klee (C4) / Bennett
You get extra hydro and pyro energy to keep all 4 characters energy fed, hydro resistance reduction from Xingqui, both hydro and pyro resonance, ability to break shields with Klee, defense reduction with Klee E and amazing burst support with C4 Q, and when Childe E is on CD, you have Klee as not only a good support but an alternate carry.
I think this may be stronger in general than running Anemo supports. Hydro resonance will make your Xingqui and Bennett healing that much more effective too.
I'm kinda surprised your disregard Xingqui that easily. Double Hydro for extra energy gain, interruption resistance, damage reduction, healing, hydro resistance reduction, and persistent support E and Q. Really good.
Yeah thats probably the best, alternative would be Xiangling instead of Klee since she can main dps
Yeah I haven’t tested xingqui with him fully but him lowering water res seems insane on top of just more water orbs. Does his bonus water dmg with sword only apply to himself tho? I thought it was to whoever had the sword but the talent seems to imply only him.
I don’t get the desire to disregard xingqiu tho. I get water team bonus is a little lack listed but it has uses.
@@devinslater6939 yes Xingqui lowers the targets hydro resistance every time a rain sword from his ult hits the target, which will constantly apply to multiple targets and has a long duration. The lowered res will apply to Childe damage as well.
Klee C4? Well... Nothing to consider here for me aside from Xingqiu.

From the way his ult works i believe it would be better if we use his ranged ult as an aura applier, and then follow by using an electro support dps ult (any of choice - lisa or fischl ult [I'm not sure about how beidou's ult reacts with childe, so if anyone knows pls share]), then whe can swirl (I at least dont really care if it siwrls hydro or electro since on electro charged we are proccing electro damage as well). And as the last slot i would prefer an electro support for healing, but since that isnt a thing yet I would either go with: Dragons Slayers Barbara, since quite a few people might have a C2 Barbara, if we just throw the combo and switch to her before going childe its already a 15% hydro bonus from her E plus the 40% atk bonus from the weapon, or Prototype Malice Lisa for that electro ressonance wich will also give particles to keep using that ult for healing (dont know if the healing will be enough though, just theorycrafting here).
Not sure how it'll go if the battle isnt over by te end of his E, but since i only have compund bow for Fischl I think this might be more viable since I can just switch to her and keep dealing damage while I wait or just start healing as barbara.

well personally he's only going be sub dps in your squad or utility at best, main reason to use him is that +1 normal attack passive, you don't even have to use him, he already giving a nice buff to your main dps

May I point out a single mistake you made? Vaporize doubles the hydro damage you use ONLY when the enemy ALREADY has pyro on him and with how fast Childe is to apply hydro on enemies he will almost NEVER benefit from vaporize. Usually Xiangling will be the one getting the 1.5 boost to damage. We actually lack a good pyro support able to constantly apply pyro on enemies. Vaporize is most useful on bursts right now. so i think an anemo (with viridescent) and a geo (with petra) are more useful right now. Barbara and Xingqiu also raise hydro damage and lowers hydro res. I'm not a fanatic of party building and I actually have to raise Childe first so I can't really test teams right now. But i think xiangling is definitely redundant here.

If its a single target i apply riptide with bow,switch to diluc apply pyro proc,switch to childe melee form and just use ult and ggwp,make sure when switching to melee u are farther away from enemy unit so as to not proc vaporize unintentionally
the thing for me is if you have fish child and venti becouse i dont have sucrose i need more bows |:D

fiscl with high elemental mastery works really well with childe because with childe high atk speed, oz will always proc electro charge
tahts right, i use both of them and im lovin the constant aoe hydro and electrocharged dmg combined

Thanks for this great guide. Unexpectedly got Childe (I was hoping for more Beidou const) and I'm at a loss on how to build him. Unfortunately all of my viable characters are in the "why not these" list lol 🤣
Me too, Beidou is my main dps since day 1. Now I'm thinking of letting Beidou take the stage when Childe's E is on cooldown. When she has her ult, pop it & change to Childe E to deal massive dps in 12 sec. Actually, Beidou's ult (mine is C2) works well with Childe since her ult gives a shield (C1), immune to 25~30% income dmg, increases resistance to interruptions, and a large amount of Beidou's electro dps. 2 other slots it Bennet/Xiangling and Barbara (dragon book) will provide more dmg increase and good recovery.
The same with me, i wanted beidou and in 70 rolls i've got none. But i've got jean and 2 childe lol i guess i should not complain
I dont know why he said beido burst is irrelevant lol, since i got childe, now my beido team is complete, the lightning on beido burst jumps every normal attack hits target, it jumps like to 4 targets if your beido is c2? And u know childe E aspd is fast, right? They carry me to abyss f12 lol, but now im stucked again hahaha need pyro carry there :/
Im not saying fiscl is bad, but compared to beido, the electro hits multiple targets while fiscl hits single. E childe also hits multiple targets, ever seen beido+childe against crowd? Electro-charged everywhere lol

no one's talking about my girl xinyan, she's great with childe. That ultimate procs so much vaporize damage it's not even funny
It's probably because if your running vaporize with childe, xinyan would be the one triggering it, same goes with xiangling
I don't think vaporize is the best reaction with childe because when he attacks, he make many little damages so the reaction will be on one of these. It will be really useful only with his melee burst.
Elecro would be I think better (fishle for example).
And a combo between an electro and a cryo would be great too for the moment when childe is with his bow waiting for the CD because it reduce the physical defense.
So for me the best team would be: childe, fishle, diona (you can permanently freeze the enemy for 10 sec with her burst and a good healer/support) and the last support u want like sucrose or Bennet.
youre right but think that because of childe hitting so fast the reaction almost always comes from the supp, so childe will put them wet and xianglings bear will cause the vaporize, and with xianglings ult they are getting on fire almost as fast as childe hits. but yeah he underestimated the cryo electro combo with him. anyways, in my opinion, you lose damage picking cryo over pyro
@@luiscarlospablo6010 yes with xiangling it's a very good combo because of the permanent Pyro by the gooba and the burst. And I recognize that the vaporize can be very strong against boss.
Both can be utilized and pretty equivalent I just wanted to put on the light the cryo element ;).
And in this game you can play everything you want it's all about which elements you prefer to play

if i use childe and xiangling, wouldnt the gouba proc the vaporize effect rather than childe?
once u get the timing right it's easy. almost all of my bursts with tartaglia proc vaporize
just hold your AA for a sec then your burst can easily proc vaporize.

I got it too. I was disappointed since my pity was reset and i wanted zhongli but i calculated it and i should be able to scrape enough for a soft pity for zhongli by the time hes out. Additionally i think that childe may be the best unit in the entire game maybe

hey i can do the childe xiangling fischl barb comp but i was wondering if diona can replace barb? but considering the hydro resonance and my c2 barb can boost the hydro damage, it might not be worth it?

Comp 2 is probably gonna work rlly well with Zhongli, because his shield also heals and his Dps istn't bad either so he could be used as Dps while waiting for Childs Skill Cooldown.

Hey Concept2 just pulled Childe today on the 76th pull, wanted to put a team together and I remember watching your video, I love the teams and how they work except I am simply not a sucrose fan. I was wondering which of the following teams would be better
1. Childe, Xingqiu, Xiangling, and Bennett. Double pyro for increased damage and double hydro for more healing since bennett only goes to 70% and xingqiu only heals for a little, also lots of energy recharge
2. Childe, Fischl, Bennett/Jean, Xiangling

Barbara at C2 gives a 15% hydro damage bonus when her E is active. Does that change anything in terms of comp possibilities?
I mean, if you consider the elemental resonance of Hydro (+Healing%), it's not exactly viable for a team based around Childe.
the problem is you're also wet and you know how bad it is when mobs shoot you or tackle you with electro and cryo

As a f2p I guess I was right in building my team as childe, fischl, xiangling, and barbara.
As long as u don't use Childe as Main DPS yes.
In terms of DPS's i think childe sucks at it. I see him as a support character, he can break pyro shields faster than barbara.

Xiangling is basically going be your main dps, because childe can't be one, melee form has its draw backs and he's bow user, bow users can't compare to melee characters in dps even if you give him rust or compound bow he never do numbers like other dps units, even Bennett can out dps him in situations

🌸❤️Geo always has and always shall be my favorite amongst the elements. I absolutely adore Geo’s neutrality in relation to the other elements and main Ningguang (c6) as my main dps.
Geo is perfect for those players such as myself that want to focus on one main dps on the field 90% of the time only swapping to proc the elemental skill/burst of supporting team members off cool down.
At current I use on my team
- Ningguang as main dps
- Barbara for heals
- Amber to use in combination with Sucrose off ult cool down.
- Sucrose to abuse environmental and elemental reactions.
One day hope to build a full Geo team and Zhongli will be a huge step toward that aim, have 19k primogems ready for once he releases (had 21k but pulled for Childe and got him on 1st 10 pull)❤️🌸
I plan on getting Zhong Li, his synergy looks very fun, as yiu said I kind getting annoyed at having to be switching and focusing on elemental reactions, though I will build Zhong Li as a main DPS if I need xD

Can some1 explain why u guys like geo element? Because it is least interesting for me but few said it’s best element. Now I’m a bit confused.
If player doesn’t want to trigger reaction. Any element should be fine. We just can’t use same element as the target and geo is not exception. Also, compare to anemo which always come with crowd control, crystal shield is not that awesome. Or perhaps some1 can teach me what’s special benefit it give?

- Starting Elemental Reactions
It is factually incorrect that Geo-Element does not possess elemental reactions, it would be more accurate to say that “Geo-Element possesses no offensive elemental reactions”, but rather it has defensive elemental reactions in that it reacts to the other elements by producing a “shield of that element” through crystallization.
- Geo Uses
You are incorrect on your assessment here as well. Geo-Elements value lies in the fact that “it is the neutral element of Genshin Impact”, and thus it deals neutral damage across the board and is only resisted by itself. This make Geo-Based characters perfect for players such as myself “whom desire a more simplistic play-style and just want to focus on one main dps that will take the field 90% of the time only to be swapped out so to say when needed to proc an e-skill off cool down such as heal/buff (my team posted above for an example)
You can indeed use Geo all the time unless confronted by another Geo-Element, and that is only the case if your character basic attack (Ningguang) does Geo-Based normal attacks, if you possess a character that is Geo and deals normal auto attack damage, you never have to swap them out if you do not want to.
- Geo Vs Anemo
Geo-Element in my opinion is superior to Anemo-Element on account as mentioned i do not prioritize “elemental reactions” (there is no need when a properly built Ningguang (mine at c6) even at c0 can obliterate any and everything not of Geo-Element in the blink of an eye). Also due to Anemo tending to be a more supportive element, Anemo cannot be effective on its own, it needs other elements to react to (which again I do not prioritize).

Instead of Swirling Xiangling's Guoba with Sucrose's ESkill and EBurst, I think it's better if you Swirl Childe's Hydro instead since he's your main Carry.
Why I always open with aimed shot, and then venti E to get that debuff to hydro running.

I got him at a random single pull hoping for sucrose, and now I don't know what do do with him because I have Klee as my dps 💀💀
For abyss there are two teams teams use him on the other one
build him as sub dps or second dps for the abyss
if u already have a dps for your 2nd team, you can build Childe as a burst reactor for your Klee team. Use Stringless and 4pc Noblesse.
given that most reactions cant keep up with tartaglia's attacks, there is no reason to use him in a reaction-based comp.
imo running Tartaglia / Xingqiu / Sucrose / Bennett will most likely give the best damage possible.
my reasoning:
-If you have Xingqiu C2, he can reduce enemy RES by 15%, Sucrose increases that with another 35% if she is using viridescent.
-With how fast Tartaglia can attack during his "E", you will most likely be getting 14/15 attacks from Xingqiu's Ult.
-Bennett's ult is just broken as a support, giving a great healing up to 70% and a considerable boost to ATK. Xingqiu can use his heal to go past 70% HP.
-During tartaglia's "E", he generates a lot of energy, that will regenerate Xingqiu's Ult very fast, mainly if you have a considerable amount of Energy Recharge on Xingqiu.
-Bennett himself is a great dps aswell, so even when fighting a water immune enemy you will not have many problems.
-There are other things i can list about this, but i don't really feel like reactions-based comps with tartaglia can outdamage this team as of 1.1-
Edit: After further research, it was found that Tartaglia / Xingqiu / Sucrose / Fischl could outdamage this team by alot.I have to say that i still hold my argument that there is no reason to use Tartaglia in a reaction-based comp, since its not the elemental reactions damage, but Fischl's "E" and her second passive's damage that makes her better than Bennett.
isn't the xingqiu debuff only on his c2? also, double water has poor resonance compared to double pyro. but i do see your points. If we had a character like xingqiu but for fire, that would be op af

also, even though double water is not a great resonance, Xingqiu's ult will over compensate that, since the damage on his ult is straight-up broken, and if for some reason you have a Xingqiu C6, he becomes questionably the best Burst Support in the game atm, since it will almost guarantee you that his ult will be back, and it increases the ult's damage by about 33% since it adds another water sword in the ult attacks.
Same craziness if you happen to have a C6 Fischl. I will be at C5 after this event, needing 1 more. Then I would probably do Venti/Childe/Xingqiu(C4)/Fischl(C6)
If Tartaglia is at C6, this team can work but when Tartaglia havent reach C6, its best to sub in another good main DPS like Diluc Nigguang or whoever. Cuz the E cooldown duration is too long

and heres me using using childe only his elemental and when he's in cooldown switched to my main dps (not sure it is good combo but oh well)
A good combo I like is Child, Bennett, Beto and chi Chi or that new cryo-healer

@@relvinandika2108 You're loosing a lot of potential by having 2 Main DPS, as Childe is one as well. Try using Childe and Fischl instead of Childe and Keqing. I got both too at lvl80 but Keqing is my Main DPS for the 2nd Abyss Team
Hey, ive been running Childe, fischl, xianling and qiqi and i think cryo is sometimes good cuz i can freeze metachurls with geo shields and take them this way easier, but im gonna try it with sucrose/other (im f2p btw)

lemme explain
Having keqing as my other party primary dps i run my childe party with Childe, Klee, Xiangling, and barbara, for the fire resonance damage bonus, the vaporise proc, the hydro damage bonus from barbaras constellation 2, the attak bonus from the thrilling tales of dragon slayers, and klee to allow for a strong dps switch when childes 'e' is in cooldown and to deal with cryo enemys without freezing, gets truly insane damage and clear speed because of the raw damage that more than makes up for the lack of grouping from having no anemo characters, 10/10 recomend this comp, makes up for klees squishyness and childes melee time limit by meshing them as a dual dps team with good versatility
Currently use the same comps, but unfortunately I didn't have klee 😩 so I use bennet intead to use the atk+ from his Q

I have Childe, Diluc and Klee. I have no idea how to do make a good comp with this one. Klee, Fischl, Sucrose and Barbara is usually my normal comp, but I guess Childe, Klee, Sucrose, Barbara or Bennett would work

childe applies hydro instantly, you need to wait for fire proc before hitting with melee or else ur xiangling will proc vaporize and mess up ur damage
seems really wonky if u have to wait which messes up ur overall dps, childe seems to be the elemental applier not the reactor, there is freeze, the issue is that he cant shatter, second is vaporize needs pyro then hydro reaction to do 200% damage otherwise you’ll do 150% if hydro then pyro. electro charge seems to be the best choice w fish, since childe does a lot of aoe damage electro charge complements that.
he's totally a sub dps character, i find is only good at applying water not chain reacting
