It's so nice to see another form of wildlife in Australia that's not just the Great Barrier Reef or insanely deadly creatures. Like, dont the Great Barrier Reef is insanley cool, and so is all of Australia's terrestrial life, but this is just next level cool and has beautiful level of peace. (I believe this is Australia , please forgive me if I'm wrong)
It’s Australia
Tell you what mate, you keep putting videos out like this and previous ones and you’re going to go a long way.
Your team and guests knowledge is brilliant, what stands out is how you take advice and don’t take over when speaking to someone like a lot of other fish/aquarium so called experts do.
Keep up the good work 👍🏻
Love these wild excursion videos
Hey man love your three videos
when are you uploading a new video?
Have to mention Harlan's bravery under fire. First it was killer wasps and now pinching prawns!!!! True dedication to duty! 😁😁😁😁
Nick, again you have made a terrific nature documentary. Just keep doing what makes you happy & we'll come along for the ride
we will need an update of your fish tank setup once you're done with it. I want to see how you will scape it to make it look natural and types of fish you will put in there. It'll be fascinating.
McCoys creek in Bundaberg is full of purple spotted gudgeons, and the some blue claw.
Made a great tank
This photography is amazing and the music was good too . Not too loud or obtrusive. Beautiful!!
Keep the great work
For me u are one of the best creators
I've got a tank full of the Cherax Depressus, largest one i've got is around 15cm in length (Yes they do get that big) Just be careful though if you're going to put them in a tank with other fish, I have found they nip the ends of larger fish fins and will even take down fish twice the size of them if they've got a good hiding spot where they can trap the fish. I've also had them cut the bottom ends of thin plants and eat the root systems. I've actually done a fair bit of research into the Depressus (Made a wikipedia page about them) and you'd also want to be weary with adding too many at a time. I've found that if you add too many yabbies at once into the enviroment they'll just fight and end up killing each other, I've found what works best is putting a few similar-sized yabbies in at once, giving them a while to adapt and then slowly over time adding more to the tank
Cool video Nick, that water was freezing but once you got used to it, it wasn't to bad, it's an amazing spot and it changes so much from the warmer weather to the cold and from the wet and the dry, it's amazing when the water is there how abundant with fish it is, I've been there many times when it is almost totally dry with it flowing underground with just small pockets of water housing the fish until the next wet season, it was a fun day out, you should enjoy the aquarium setup 🙂
G'day Jason, what would you estimate the temperature range of the water in the creek? Would it have been due to all of the recent rains or is the water normally that cold? I was wondering whether the rainbowfish would spawn in water that cold/cool.
@@rrotley1 I've never actually taken a reading but it gets cold enough in winter to turn your hands blue and a fair bit warmer in the summer but still a bit cooler then down the bottom of the mountain, in winter I wouldn't be surprised if it gets cooler then 10deg c, in summer probably low 20s, it does feel cooler because the outside temps where in the mid 30s, these fish are tougher then what people think, I have seen them that cold they can't move in winter but they seem to bounce back with no issues.
😍 So schön!!!
thanks for taking us along with you on your trips, really enjoy it
This is my favourite series. Not sure why but these creek exploration videos are so relaxing
Thank you for another fantastic video. After a crappy day at work it’s a bit of escapism before naps.
Seeing Australia has always been a bucket list to do for me since I was younger! What ate the best places to visit for waterfalls, child friendly and romantic?
This is absolutely beautiful. Thanks for sharing.
So clear that river, amazing 😍
Great video, looking forward to seeing your new tank when finished.
Beautiful scenery and great photography. Thanks.
I can't wait to see what you do with your display tank, it's going to be so beautiful! I wish the freshwater here was as pretty.❤
those carpet pythons are dope to see
Your videos are so high quality and informative. So enjoyable to watch. Keep these coming, love you work mate.
Love to see that you r entering into aquascaping ❤ that would be interesting
So cute 😊
Great video Nick, I was up that way last week with the kids, beautiful spot. Looking forward to you documenting the tank build, its pretty mich the exaxt tank I've been wanting to set up as well, already keep duboulayi, awesome fish.
Please do a cardinal tetra breeding guide I'm puzzled and other video guides I have seen aren't clear. I loved your guppy and shrimp breeding guide they worked amazingly!!
Well done Jason and Nick, I love ❤ these videos 📹 to explore in nature
I can't wait to go to Australia, rainbow fish are what started my breeding obsession 3+ years ago and i still cant get enough of them. Much love from the states❤🤙 those gudeons might have to join my mudskipper tank if they're compatible when i build it
Outstanding. Nature is the ultimate luxury.
I can't wait for the new scape. Great tour of nature.
Local here, best if you keen the name of the place out of the videos to preserve the eco system of the creek. Great video!!
I didn't know fish would have eggs in cold water .I learned something new today ..love when you go out in the field as they say to do your show ..love seeing the country side in your country ..I'm in Kentucky USA ...so beautiful there ..thanks for sharing
Do not forget a snake for the tank as well 😂
Simply awesome 😎👍
Videos of the habitats our fishy friends come from in great. From a keeper's prospective, what is the actual temp of the water? As a Canadian, my idea of 'freezing' is somewhat different than yours, I suspect!
love it
Dude i love your videos I just got a new 150 litre tank you have inspired me so much and taught me so many things. Love your work. 👍
Incredible footage. Love these travel nature videos you do!
One question I had would be, would it be unethical to bring some fish food to try and feed some of the fish? Not a lot but like drop a few brine shrimp next to the gudgeon nest or in the middle of the stream?
Recent subscriber here. I knew you were Australian but i hasn't realised you were this local to me! Small world.
Love your content!!
You should check out browns falls in Killarney, cool water systems and plenty of creeks/waterfalls around. Condamine river road is great in that area too !
I've done all through there but I'd like to do it again, the trouble is you have to get it when the water is clear, when it rains up that way the water goes slightly milky so hard to film.
Your mate swimming in the Vans Grosso Pro model needs protect those she’s at all costs 😂😂😂😂
inb4 Nick takes this style of video international!! love it mate, could see you cruising around the amazon
Another awesome video! Love the natural habitats you guys bring home to us; undiscovered slices of Australia. Keep up the great work! I can't wait until spring to poke around in our rivers and streams!
That is super cool, other than the spider lol
Love the video and I’m all about making it look super natural I think it’s just so cool also you should make a breeding video with pearl danios
Inspirational. . .
Outstanding work as always - great EP team.
Great video mate. Had to laugh @9:21 - I watch way too many true crime channels and gave me flashbacks lol
this is my favourite type of content from you
Beautiful thanks for sharing
🎵 👁 I can see clearly now👁🎵
Tolle Unterwasseraufnahmen von schönen, sehr sauberen Gewässern! 👍Da kann man sich echt Anregungen für die Gestaltung eines Naturaquariums holen! 😉
Love to see videos like this. Thanks for the sharing.❤
Hi Nick.
I have watched loads of your videos, I initially found them via looking for some shrimp keeping videos, I keep fish too and have watched so many of your videos not only because they are helpful and informative but they are massively entertaining, relaxing and inspiring too. You do a great job presenting and providing information. I initially watched some of your older videos and then others not in any order, so one video you are a young teenager, sometimes living at home, and now you have your own place!
It's brilliant stuff, love your genuine passion for all things aquatic, keep the videos coming.
Thanks, Steve.
P.S - I'm scared sh*tless of snakes so I'd have been back in the car as soon as I seen one!
Another great video thanks guys
Love this ❤
Can't wait to see your new tank set up!
That was awesome.
Beautiful day? Yeah, that's an understatement! Looks like a blast out there. This is a really neat idea, though, there are some swampy creeks around the Seattle metro I might need to take a hike in now. I hear you're coming over here soon, hope you enjoy your time.
Oh man I'd worry about crocs!
Haha not on Brisbane mate, too 'cold'.
Really great. Thanks for sharing your awesome experience.
Looking forward to seeing the aquascape you set up !!
So cute mmm wow
Super cool video. I really want to get to australia some day. I got some bug bugget coming to Minnesota!
😊nice video, thank u
Love these type of videos
amazing as always
This was exactly the video i was searching for, goatee channel
Halelo yeah
Sweet video! Also love the editing and music!
Nice! I was just up that way a few days ago, though I was mainly filming fungi instead of fish.
The carpet pythons are so cool!
You got a new subscriber 😊
Love the content ❤
Que suerte estar en australia para poder ver eso
Take me with you. ✌️☺️
Cool video man 👌😎
such a tease I wana go hahah
Amazing . Love the efforts mate. Wish u can expand your online business mate. Best of luck for the future mate.
Damn Nick your so good looking! Damn ! Tnx for the vid man !
Bravo from Romania Dracula land ❤🎉
*2:10** This scene looks exactly like that scene in Jurassic park 2...*
This question is of topic but the last shrimp video is a little older, so thought I would take my chances here.😅
I have been hearing different things about crush coral and or cuttlebone. Which one would be recommend more to help with shrimp molting? is both an option, is one more effective?
thank you!
❤️🐠
That carpet would be about a year old by the size of it maybe older if it did not have much food around.
I really liked this video! And I loooove rainbowfish :D Just a little bit of complaining... Sometimes, like at the end of this video, the volume of the music was so loud that it was difficult for me to hear what you were actually saying. I've noticed this in some other videos as well. So please, can you just turn down the volume of the music a bit? Because otherwise this videos are fantastic!
gudgeons! hooray!
Thought for a second the guy in the water in minute 9 was dead, lol 😅
hi
it was a wonderful
i just want to know the kind ok music that used in this video
damn boy got older!
did you re post this i swear i watched this last night
Whats the water temp there? We have fresh water crays (Koura) here in NZ but they will not survive in a tank unless you can keep it under 12-15c
To put that in perspective, my lounge aquarium runs at 25c without a heater and with the AC on during the day in summer.
Do you run a chiller for the tank?
I thought the buzzing was my fish tank. Water leaking, heater or light electric fuzzing.
Reaching out for advice. I have assasin snails in all three of my tanks. In two of them a few have been staying at the top for a couple days. All my parameters are in line with what they require. Should I be worried or are they just doing snail things?
what size tank do u recommend for a colony of bristle nose pleco
I'm having serious de ja vu
Are you able to ship your fish food to the USA? I cant seem to find it and really want to try some!
Do you have L264 sultan pleco?
If yes can you male a video about tank mates, diet, tank size and their gender?
Any livebearers down under?
I'd like some of that knot weed and some of that moss.
