The propaganda of USA is absolutely beyond me. Every word mentioned in these press briefings is well thought of before answering. Shameless!! Proudly 🇿🇦
A question from one reporter appeared to *transfer the burden of border closures* from Israel to Egypt. Forgotten was the fact that the U.S. warned Israel not to move into Rafah "without a convincing plan" to protect civilian lives. Despite the warning, Israel pressed ahead with an invasion of Rafah, which seems to be _escalating_ with every passing day. In response, Egypt has closed its side of the Rafah border to avoid a flood of refugees, which could lead to a _forced_ and _permanent_ displacement of Palestinians. Mr. Patel sought to distract from this by blaming Hamas for _"a recent attack near Karem Shalom crossing"_ and justifying Israel's border closures. Israel's restriction of humanitarian aid *predates* the alleged Hamas attack near Karem Shalom.🤨
How do we reconcile the administration's insistence that Israel has _"not been restricting aid"_ with its claim that it is _"pressing Israel to do more"_ to allow humanitarian aid? If Israel is doing all it can and is not actively restricting aid, why does the administration think it's worth pressing Israel "to do more"? The administration also repeatedly said that Israel has not committed war crimes to its knowledge, yet boasts about the "U.S. being *the only reason"* Israel has allowed aid. The implication is that Israel was _blocking_ food, water, medicine, electricity, and fuel _before_ U.S. intervention, which it was. Depriving a population of necessities is a war crime. *Repeated settler attacks* on aid convoys to _starve_ Gazans while IDF _idly_ watched on does not strike the administration as an urgent matter or part and parcel of Israel's policy of using hunger as a weapon.
It’s insane. They own/ control our representatives, including our president, our media, our college campuses, our entertainment industry, our communication systems, security systems, etc. And we was s’pose to be worried about Russia, China, N. Korea, but it’s Israel who turns out to be the villain we should legit be concerned about.
Mr. Patel plays dumb to _avoid_ questions or to provide _irrelevant_ answers. He knew full well that the question concerned the *accountability* that should have been placed by now in response to the murderous IDF *precision* strikes on _World Central Kitchen_ and other humanitarian convoys. _"Israel has the right to defend itself"_ is not the relevant *answer to every question* under the sky. The administration answers almost every question with that tired line.

Stop giving Israel Impunity 😡
If I had a nickel for every time Patel said how concerned he was about the lack of humanitarian aid I’d be a wealthy man.
It sounds perfunctory and not at all genuine, doesn't it?
No more talk we need action stop the genocide
Double talk, word salad, horrible in communication.
Total indifference from the state department for Palestinian people.
Our partners, our partners, partners, partners…..toxic, abusive partner is preventing peace.
The pattern….an excuse for Israel’s bad behavior, then “that being said” no solution.
I feel like this is Jonah Hill in character
Why doesn't WH spokesperson just say, "Put me down for what I said yesterday," when answering most questions
اللهم ارنا في امريكا عجائب قدرتك
Freedom for Palestine

Why do these always start mid sentence?
Every time they say "Izrael has the right to defend itself" the only thing I hear is _"they can do whatever they want"_
