I'm not gonna lie, at first I thought the jump rope activity was kinda dumb but it's actually pretty cool how it accurately tracks your reps and sets in free mode. Great job Garmin.

It's not for my garmin smartwatch, it's for NEW MODELS of garmin smartwatches.

Brightness adjustment for the green LED at the Tactix would be great outside the night vision mode.

@@rrosomasa Makes complete sense now that I think about it. Still going to upgrade from my Fénix 6 Pro Solar…hardest part is should I get 7x Pro or try and hold off for the 8! 🤔🤔
@@MrATC35 at this point in the year, i would wait out for the 8.... but also, keep in mind that once the 8 comes out the 7 is likely to drop in price

There are no chips in the fenix 6 that prevent it from doing auto transitions, Garmin have never been that good at rolling out new features to anything but the newest range. Keeps you buying more t@@rrosomasa

I went for a run on a sunny day and my Garmin venu screen burned in. Garmin said I was 1 month out of my 12 month warranty. When will garmin have a fix for that?
Please confirm if 165 have gyroscope or not?! If not , how is it going to track all your activities? It will be inaccurate?

How do you undo an accidental press of lap undo? better to have more lap splits then less right?
Hi MrJhockley. If you happen to accidentally discard a lap within the 8-second Lap Undo window you can simply press the Lap button on your smartwatch to manually create a new lap. Hope this helps and thanks for watching.

Im sad about no new features for instincts
Has anyone noticed that in the other garmin channels on youtube all those who talk about the latest firmware with the new features have 1 or 2 smart rings, the black one stands out, I can't identify it.
Could it be the Garmin smart ring? 😇

You're not the first person over the last few years to notice the ring on my left hand. While you may be disappointed to learn it's just a titanium wedding band, my wife will be pleased to hear it's still catching eyes nearly a decade after our wedding.

Thank you for your questions. Yes, we just released an update that adds the Sleep Coach glance to the Forerunner 165. As for your second question...no, the Forerunner 165 does not have a gyroscope. The activity tracking comes from the onboard accelerometer.

The gyroscope plays a bigger role in activities where there are complex movements (ex. pool swimming) and/or to help improve position accuracy when there is a lack of GPS signal (ex. You have to add the new FR 165..

Wtf! Venu 3 is the only watch with call options and it has zero real sports modes. Add training readyness, cross country skiing and all the other running modes. Venu 3 is a joke!
