You need to add a lock washer between the washer and the wing nut. That will solve your problem. I am currently running 2 UV-18 tumblers. Been there, seen that. :)
do you have to fill the bowl 2/3 full? what if you only have a small batch of rocks and its just enough to cover the bottom of the bowl? can you still operate the vibratory
If you don’t have enough you have to use filler. Ceramic media is most common. You can see I have a lot in there. They won’t tumble right if the bowl isn’t full.
@@gayebishop559 Remember, you'll still need to do Step 1 in the rotary. The rocks should be basically rounded when they go into a vibe, but they do steps 2, 3 and 4 much faster. (I do 3 days in each, but some do as little as 1.5 days per step in a vibe.)
@@gayebishop559 I had one lady say that she does, but from what I have heard it will destroy your bowl. It's so course that between the grit and the sharper rocks your bowl will wear out pretty quickly. Those bowls aren't cheap so I do Step 1 in the rotary.
Lol. I have the Raytech and mine has a rubber nut that will go all the way down and I just have to tighten a bit! It’s fun!

I could, but honestly I think it's awesome! It hasn't come off unexpectedly... just cool to me that once I loosen it, it unwinds itself!

@@edcctf thank you. I just bought a leegol vibratory tumbler and not sure how to use it with rocks. I’ve always tumbled them in a rotary tumbler.

@@edcctf oops I goofed then. I used the really coarse grit in the vibratory. Why can’t you do step 1 in a vibratory tumbler?
