I remember the 2016 Tasmania and 2020 in Victoria mount Martha was asking parents to buy together, they refused lol no one believed, watched most of your videos very inspiring .
Another great video Todd!!! This one ranks right up there as one of the best as it is the limiting factor for the majority of people who don't even know this is possible!!!
Great insights and video. Shows the power of research. Really the key message being, live at home:). Which is music to the ears of owners of 4 or 5 bed homes as more and more kids need to live with parents for longer therefore more demand for those properties as opposed to 1 bed apartments or similar.
Everyone talks about borrowing money against equity and not talking about purchasing your additional properties process. Does that equate to the bank giving you that loan reflecting your equity and no need to put down deposits on new purchases after your first property purchase. Does your property need to become positive cash flow before you can borrow more money against equity.
So many ways to approach lending. Great advice. A lot of tunnel vision most of the time due to poor advice. Most people are just told, you need to earn more, sorry. Awesome video!
Yeah but so’s borrowing $1m on that income, the point of the ep was just to get people thinking about the options we do have to move forward despite all the market changes 😊
haha "i wish i never brought that property" mate not every market goes up like have you ever been to darwin before ???!!!! im an agent here and there are still properties in negative equity from 10 years ago!
then the market will adjust down either by a bit or a lot, and i'll continue to hold income producing assets that need to be used in no matter the economy. Honestly I respect your opinion dude but if you look back through the past 50 years the people that keep calling for a crash / bubble bursting have missed out on more gains than they've protected themselves form from loss aversion and inaction. fear is a bad investment guide bro
@@pizzaandproperty1246 Any random ASX200 portfolio with 20 stocks gave average 13% yields growth for the past 40 years. Teaching people to leverage themselves based on past figures it’s not the right call as they can lose everything. I know a couple that lost everything in this forever up market because of this sort of BS that you propagate. My point is risk taking and this strategy is proven to be VERY MUCH WRONG.
For property share, I'd like to know if I did this with a friend lets say 50% each share ownership. For next property i heard thr banks assess you as if you are 100% owner of the property and not 50%. Can you please clarify this? Thanks

Thanks mate! You manage to get into the market now?
Great video. I’ve got 3 sons that have purchased a property in 2017 and are now using equity to buy a second property.
That's amazing! Setting up for success! 🙂
I'll be saving this one, thanks 👍
You’re welcome mate 👍🏼

Most people live at what they call home.

Hey mate, sounds like you're wanting to get a better understanding of exactly how equity works, have I understood you right?
Yes that's correct and also do you need a deposit for all future property purchases when using equity.
Fantastic episode!
Would have loved to hear about Overtime and lending also
Great suggestion!

Don’t forget capital gains tax and stamp duty 😮
They generally don’t come into play when applying for a loan but 100% want to have them in the numbers for the overall purchase and if you sell 🙌🏼
Trying to find a decent broker…
Have you spoken with John? I think his contact details are somewhere in the description

Exactly they account for 50% of the income and 100% of the debt.. fun times lol
