- The Turbo Boost across the ravine when KITT is self-driving was used in the earlier episode "The Topaz Connection"
From Season 1 Episode 21 "Nobody Does it Better": Michael joins forces with a private investigator when a man who designs video games is suspected of selling company secrets.
Welcome to the official home of Knight Rider on UA-cam! A shadowy flight into the dangerous world of a man who does not exist. Michael Knight, a young loner on a crusade to champion the cause of the innocent, the powerless, the helpless in a world of criminals who operate above the law.

1:16 I’ll always love that shot with the front of KITTs beautiful scanner, drifting on muddy dirt with that roaring engine. Best cars of all time.
It’s so amazing how KITT got so clean at the end 😂😂. My childhood tv show. Always loved David Hasselhoff ❤ 😊
"Nobody Does It Better." One of my favorite episodes.
0:13 - I wonder why Hasselhoff was so heavily replaced by stuntmen in fight scenes, while in scenes like this one you can clearly see the guy was very fit and capable of performing somewhat injury-risky stunts on his own. If he could jump over KITT's roof on regular basis, they could have easily made him do cool kicks and that sort of stuff.
Bad guy driving a Mazda with a rotary engine? No wonder he had to switch to a tow truck to get away.
Best comment of the day. 🤣👍

I always loved turbo boost
They’re like “we built a ramp, we are using it more than once.”
Show will always be a classic my favourite episode is trust doesn’t rust
Really. Always preffered KITT vs KARR season 3
Two turbo boosts ! Jaw dropped!!
Jaw dropped so hard they knocked the second "p" from the title! Noice! Droping...
KITT still do this day is better than any car that was every built. You cant even compare KITT to no other car this day in age. "Whoooo" (Micheal Knight voice) lol
Love how Michael used to say "Whooo!!!" a lot after a Turbo Boost landing. I think he says it more in Season 1, then kind of toned it down a bit in the other 3 seasons.
I like that, too. Not sure I'm crazy about the "Yahhh" in this episode, though. However, it's one of my favorite episodes.
I do notice that in season 4, he often yells "TURBO BOOST!!" before he presses it. I guess to add to the drama? I think it's silly, just press it.
Not only do we get two turbo boosts here, but also two different implementations. The first one is the so-called flivver car, basically a VW Dune buggy with the rubber shell of a Trans Am on top of it (that's why it looks so "empty"), the second one is done with the actual jump car from what I can tell: a real Trans Am, specially prepared for jumps by adding a roll cage, acrylic windows, heavier shocks, a steel bottom plate et c.
Rubber could have only been practical for the real T/A's armour. It's heavy and lacks stiffness to keep the right shape on its own in big elements. Flivver clearly must have had skin made of fiberglass-reinforced polyester resin, the thing commonly known simply as 'fiberglass'.
@@piotrmalewski8178 nope, it rested on the roll cage of the buggy and they tied it down with ropes on the bottom of the car. And it was a pretty thick piece with car paint on top. You can clearly see the front of the flivver car bend and then pop back into shape in some jumps. They also used rubber for the nose of the car in season 4.
@@Theratron Not convinced unless I see a photo. Thin fiberglass will be floppy as well, only it will break frequently.
That mazda rx7 was fantastic!!
Seem more an more every day we get closer too a car like kitt. We got self healing metals in the research.
Wow I only just noticed the very subtle edit at 1min 42 when drifting through water...that editing only became more common place in the 1990's. There's still lots of Knight rider tech that's slowly coming true 😂 the big one that came true was air brakes from super persuit mode on high performance sports cars😂🎉
Nice one.
Two turbo boosts in one chase?! Is this Christmas???
Did anyone else notice at 33 seconds what looked like the fall guy truck in the parking lot?? Just needed the stickers on the door.
Yep, I noticed that too.
This is what you call a turbo boost. I have owned porsches that couldn't match kitt's Turbo Boost capabilities.
I used to use turbo boost on my bike while jumping curbs as a kid.
Score one for the Flivver car✌️
They cdnt keep KITT off dirt with this show cd they. Did they cover some streets with soil for this!?
Ah, back in the days when no-one knew what bad studio editing was.
Back then people knew the difference between what is real and what is fake.
The average TV was so cheap back in the day you wouldn't notice these things. My phone has a lot better screen than my TV did 40 years ago. 🤣
I totally couldn’t follow the relation of kitt and the tow truck before the jump! Is looked like kitt was jumping over a barricade of cars the the tow truck slided into!!! wtf???
Also the landing when the ground is dry but then when the they turn around it’s wet
KNGHT RIDER 2 GTA
Where'd they get all this grip in mud?
Dropping*
2:22 did you mean “wrecking” K.I.T.T?
1983
I remember during the 1990s looking at the clean hard nozzled off lights on the modified cars like knight rider and stuff

Such a perfect car to run away in. A tow truck with a dead car hitched to it.
I mean perfect setup for a super high-speed chase
