Those levi's commercials are so imaginative and charming - love stumbling upon bits like those!

Nothing says ‘70’s like those cool animated Levi’s commercials!

I wish those kinds of vans weren't so stigmatized now. They are so convenient with the ability to get up and walk around and hang out in the back. SUV's are basically just station wagons.

Man I was having a bad day but to see a commercial volume this epic....
Curse of The Black Widow was shown during the 90s on WABC during their Late Movie! Thank you for the link.
The ABC News Brief animation was created by Dolphin Productions - dig that Scanimate! Larry Kane was doing news in Philadelphia on ABC affiliate WPVI but on weekends would commute to New York and do the weekend edition of Eyewitness News on - again WABC!
Finally that Burger Chef ad my goodness what a treat that was not only with Violet from Willy Wonka but a lot of SW characters - even the posters themselves are probably hard to find these days.

Wow. That is not a great white shark in the Million Dollar Man preview. Lol.

Larry Kane became a confidant of the Beatles. Early in his career, he was the only broadcast journalist to travel to every stop on the Beatles' 1964 and 1965 American tours

Wow, that Burger Chef commercial is epic. And Ford Free-freewheelin'. And is that a blink and you miss him Jameson Parker in the Ultra Ban commercial? Great video.

Always love Burger Chef commercials. Never even heard of the San Pedro Beach Bums. Fun set of commercials all around and thanks for posting them.

2:49--Back before Hidden Valley salad dressings were available in bottled form.
3:20--Unfortunately most Sears stores in Iowa closed a couple years ago. Kind of sad to see them going the way of the passenger pigeon.
4:31--R.I.P. Denise Nickerson. Yes, Violet in "Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory" was probably her most famous role, but I loved her as Allison in "The Electric Company" too. That was my favorite TV show back then.
5:06--Back when Levi's commercials were actually good. Even in the 80's, many of them were too bizarre for my taste.
    6:06--Catchy jingle for Ford trucks!

      en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Burger_Chef
It was a chain based primarily in the midwest, but had over 1,000 locations at its peak in the early-mid 70s. They were bought out and their locations were converted to Hardees in 1982. If you were born after that it's unlikely that you ever would have heard of it.

I never got to go to a Burger Chef, as I was born in July 77 (a few months before these aired), and I think by the time I was old enough to enjoy going to restaurants (I remember being a fan of Big Boy as a kid), they were starting to get fazed out They were once one of the most popular fast food restaurants out there, and a lot of people have fond memories of them. These days, a lot of people remember the chain for the infamous "Burger Chef Murders" that happened in Speedway, Indiana in 1978. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Burger_Chef_murders

Yes; finally a volume from my home state! Then again, I just started watching these a little less than a year ago, and there are a lot of 80's and 90's volumes I haven't seen yet, so maybe I'll run across more. I lived in Cedar Rapids as a child and now live in Waterloo, so KGAN (formerly WMT), KWWL, and KCRG are the stations I would have been watching.

"T-Trademark? Where are you taking me? No, NO! My eyes weren't meant to see this! No human eyes were! My mind is warping, Trademark, warping into vistas of perception both horrible and beautiful at once! They say if thine eye offends thee, to pluck them out, but I can still see, Trademark! I CAN STILL SEE!!"
