I remember the first double class arena back in the day. I got a warlock mage deck with Jaina DK as one of my first cards and heavily built around it, with 7 or 8 board clears including twisting nether, flamestrike the murlock that deals 2 etc. There were barely any discovers and carddraw in the game at that time so people ran out of cards very easily. Got to 12-0 by going to fatigue every single game. My 11th win I won in fatigue by a 1hp margin. Good memories

hunter mage is nuts with the guy that fires your hero power for each enemy. So i.e. 4 minions = 5 triggers (+1 cuz it counts heros, too). That's 4 mana 10 damage if your opponent has a board. Nutty

If they made a dual class gamemode it would breath so much life back into the game. The amount of time it would take people to optimize the decks would allow casual players to have fun for a pretty long time.

Rarran, the draft during arena is SO huge a part of watching arena content, how do you just skip most of it like that...
There are lots of cuts but he showed literally every card pick
imo the decision making for picks is what makes for the most interesting part of any arena content, so I'd personally like to see more
Understandable, Kolst might be more your style than Rarran tho, he has lots of in depth full arena runs in his YT
i sure do love watching someone take 5 minutes to decide between the 1 mana 1/1 taunt divine shield, a 2 mana 2/2 that summons a 1/1 or the 7 mana 7/7 do nothing then repeating that for every pick after.

at this point i can't tell if he picks some of the worst cards out of those offered on purpose because he knows it'll trigger people, or if he is genuinely that clueless as to what arena demands these days.
Warrior is so annoying to fight in arena, oh you don't like every massive taunt minion imaginable being thrown in your face while they stack armor and clear your board?

...is my community of peoples really that bad? I mean, maybe I just understand complaints with the game since I actively play like 6 different CCGs. I just appreciate it since it's very rare to find a CCG without a mana system, Vanguard being another one I enjoy... although I think depending on the format that it's just better than Yu-Gi-Oh!, it's just harder to find tournaments for since the community is smaller.

It really sucks when you watch a video for something described in the thumbnail/title and then it never shows up. Terrible viewer experience. I get that you want as many people to watch your videos as possible, and that you do your best to be entertaining, but don't lie to the viewer or you'll drive them away forever. Not saying that Rarran does this, but other UA-camrs do, trying to force UA-cam success
Arena has never been worse. Only 1 legendary that you are guaranteed to get as your first card, so everyone just picks the same few good legendries and builds their deck around it. The card draft is so consistent you will get anything you want any time. Druid? Just pick every dragon or every treant card. Warrior? All taunt and buffing taunt minions cards. You don't get forced to play with some bad cards and you will not get some crazy broken cards, all you get is what is essentially a premade arena deck that's just average.
Personally I'm having more fun in arena than ever. It never feels like me and my opponent's decks are extremely different power levels and most games feel close. The difference between a great deck and a bad deck in arena used to be SEVERE, now the difference doesn't feel too big.
And people pick the same legendary when it comes up, but those legendaries don't come up every time. I had a really successful mage arena run with Chromie, my friend went 11 wins with a synergistic mech warrior deck using Iron juggernaut
Druid specifically is samey, but that's more a problem with the druid set in Badlands and DoD than the arena draft system. All their cards are dragon synergy so of course all their decks will be dragon synergy
So standard?
With the new system I finally got my second 12 win run ever (the first one was before the achievements were introduced), and it wasn't a synergistic deck, but just a good DK deck with a bit of value from Farm Hand and Time Lost Protodrake. The legendary was Sheriff Barrelbrim, which saved me a couple of times, but is nowhere near the level of oppression that titans are.
has never been worse? ever watched or played any arena? the change has been pretty universally celebrated by the community.
True, they really need to make a new arena mode that is actually fresh and interesting instead of making lame changes

Where's the draft? Why should I watch the rest of the video if you're cutting out the best part? Its hard to feel invested when you cut out the decision making process.

pick a little bit slower next time or slow the editing down so we can see the choice/the card you pick. and show all choices ples ( i'm a non backseating arena nerd ty) . and i know you dont like decktracker, but maybe think about using it in arena. Makes it easier to follow and your cinematic point of view doesnt transalte to arena imo ( arena is about being competetive). much love :)
What I always thought about the killing is illegal video is that it doesn't mean anything in the context of hearthstone, in hearthstone you DESTROY minions, 99% of cards say destroy, so killing, even if it's obvious what it means, it made me feel weird, it should've been something simple like: but I can't destroy minions [Though this is a personal opinion and may not be akin to the lowest common denominator's opinion.]

How do you make money from playing a card game? Because you put your losses on your channel and be tilted throughout the game. A lot of poeple would be embarrassed about that.
