One of the big problems with dr boom for me is that hes a warrior with no armor or big board clears. His main win condition is killing the enemy with bombs but he doesn't have a lot of good methods to delay until the opponents deck grows thin. Hes a control deck built like it was for aggro
installed to play and left after facing 8 arfus in a row and losing 7 of them lol. this is why online tcgs are dying, people don't want to have fun anymore they're just insecure and pick the top deck a website tells them to

I enjoy bronze through gold where I can play meme decks and have fun. But I don’t even try to hit legend anymore. It’s D5 then stop, BG’s for the rest of the month lol. My two cents are that play whatever format and I’ll watch it, as long as it’s not like aggressively metadecking, your personality and having fun with a fun deck/concept makes your content enjoyable

I really love this new twist format because it allows a constant rock-paper-scissors with so many choices. You only need 1 card to play a full deck too so it's easier for people to play.
As someone who played a ton of control warrior in duels, watching rarran say “he has so many bombs in his deck why isn’t he dead” was very funny because that was basically the deck in a nutshell

Str builds are a lot of fun in ER. Int is something I've heard is hard to make work, but you can do a faith build to get a lot of the same effects. Faith also lets you use Rykard's sword which is hilariously broken.
Honestly? I really enjoy watching the more silly stuff. Twists, Dungeon Run challenges, custom formats with friends (every minion has taunt, etc), Do You Know Hearthstone, all that stuff. I'm a relatively new viewer, so I still have a lot of content to watch through, but those are definitely my favorites, and I'd love to see more
I think elden ring vods would be kinda nice to watch, this seems to kinda just be some chill gameplay with rarran chatting about life and stuff which you could definitely do during some downtime stuff in elden ring, maybe grinding or going through some of the catacombs or stuff
This format is super cool in terms of different new-ish gameplay and accessibility! The dream is probably having people craft a legendary to play in twist and then transferring that card in a deck in another format
Most of the twist decks are really fun to play, which matters more to me than potential balance. Main thing is that a couple decks could use slightly better consistency; Leeroy kinda lives or dies depending on top decking draw power, same with Krush, C'thun could maybe use a 1-of of the revive and taunt imbue guys in the main deck so he's less inconsistent, Windlord's kinda built around playing one big guy a turn, but his reward for doing so is really bad until 6 mana, etc.
i really enjoy c thun it brings me back to were the meta was a value meta i especially love cthun mirror matches because its just value match up its so much fun(also i would think it would be fun to watch you play other games as well as contaminate on this channel)
I wouldn't mind watching Elden Ring here. Rarran is definitely hearthstone content but more Rarran I'm definitely here for your talks and shenanigans. Also would give me the motivation to play Elden Ring again.
I like watching this Twist format. There's always the odd non-game here or there but that's no different from any other format regardless of the card game. There's a lot of really fun and nifty decks in the format, and hopefully the health changes (and potentially some bigger changes down the line) get people to play more than just the two best decks like we had on the second day. (and ultimately I'll probably click on any HS video that pops up here - other games, eh bit more variable)

Maybe you, Mister Rarran, could create highlight reels of Hearthstone, Slay the Spire and other streamed/recorded games and upload them to this or your main channel. Splicing in clips between fun HS moments with some light editing could make your audience more welcoming and interested in variety content. Creating a playlist with numbered highlight videos would also be good Evergreen content and fun to binge-watch. I think it would be a good strategy to both increase viewing time, uploads and the utilization of clips from other games to grow and diversify. I love these live commentary videos btw
I think you know and have found out good layouts for videos to where you dont have to specifically play one game one way. The collabs, standard, this twist, its all been entertaining.

I love decks I don't have to make because I have little cards so Twist is fantstic, but they do need to make it more accessible like at least making the craftables epic or rare, and not legendary if they go this route again
I still think Arfus should have been nerfed by taking the hero power from 3 corpses to 2 max spent, or changing the static ability to either count excavate as common twice, rare twice, epic twice, then one rare reward, or even make the excavate only happen after you've played frost then unholy, blood then frost, unholy then blood, not every time. Just cutting health seems lazy but it might be the only quick hot fix they could do. I have been playing twist almost exclusively, except when I get a daily that wants me to play a rogue or priest since I'm missing maybe a third of the legends and don't really feel like crafting any.

Usually a few weeks after mini-sets I get a lil tired of standard Hearthstone. Then I usually pivot to BGs until next expansion. Now however I'm really enjoying Twist instead, yes Arfus is annoying (but more manageable now), but having cool Hero Powers, passives, unique decks with nice combinations and a more slowed down game mode clicks right for me. I'll probably get tired of it in a few weeks, but for now Im enjoying it and testing out lots of heroes.

My issue with twist is that im stucky playing the free characters as ive spent most of my dust on playable legendaries and standard cards. It feels awful to spend 1600 dust on dr. Boom just to play a limited time deck.
The biggest thing I dont like about twist is that it just feels like what tavern brawl could have been, but didnt. Though that's more of a jab at tavern brawls rather than twist itself
I feel like I would like to see more creative wild decks kinda like Mark does when he plays hearthstone. Or that video where you did winning with mech cthun

To be honest I've been climbing with Arfus to Diamond 5. I'm not ashamed. And it was fun even in mirrors. I get the frustration and Blizzard should've tested decks more. But this format has a lot of potential. And current version is fun enough. I hope it'll get better with balance. The dumbest thing still is that Twist will be going away for a time. The balance is secondary for me.
Bombs hated me ;w; I could shuffle so many bombs to make their deck above 40 cards...and they still kept drawing an actual card. Only saw one bomb explode, but it was the one that mattered...but I'm still annoyed >.
For me personally, the format doesn't matter, as long as it's "traditional hearthstone", i.e. anything besides Battlegrounds and mercs (simply cuz then i don't understand what I'm looking at)
It's like playing Diablo 3, you get to the end of a build potential and realize Cocaine Bear is the only build you want What I'm saying is after a certain amount of cocaine people will see the limitations of "Static Decklist" As you say and show a Meta will be found I feel if we were able to swap 5/10 cards for other things either given or personal collection it can make for a boring experience after the first week once you see the decks maximum potential
the problem i have with this twist is that if u want to play all the decks u need to craft the legendary cards, and thats too expensive for a player like me, that doesnt expend money on the game and only play on standard and not wild, i hope they leave next twist decks playable for free
I very much like twist as a casual player who rarely plays so i dont have good decent decks and am way too scared to craft new decks for fear of completely wasting my time and dust.
This feels like its exactly what Twist should be, like a mid point between ranked and solo mode

played this yesterday, the other player had like 17 bombs in their deck and didn't drew ONCE for at least 5 turns

As much as I miss the daily off meta decks, it's clear to see you're just a much more positive personality these days

Arfus has 25 health, but he has way more effective health because of lifesteal, he's still broken b/c of heal options
