Nobody is equal as a player because the operators are all different and have their specialties, so they have to make everything else more conformed. A ranked mode with so many possible objectives would make it harder to create consistent play, so they made bomb the ranked mode. Once there were more and more and more operators and maps, it became more and more inconsistent because there were more variables in each match, but they can't just remove operators or maps (usually), so they made a map and operator ban in ranked to give each team a chance to narrow down the play of the match. Casual play should be kept to casual playlists to make the ranked more consistent, therefore more attractive to a competitive community, which is what Ubisoft wants with Siege, to be an E-sport.
