YES!!!!!! Someone with oily skin that shares dilemmas of so many of us. The amount of dinero I have spent trying to find the right product is absolutely ridiculous. I just replaced everything. I am at home recovering from my 4th. surgery after breast cancer diagnosis. I am literally spending my days learning about make-up. Thank you so much for all this great information. You are gorgeous!
I have to say something about spf products in general. It's said that to achieve the rated spf you have to use a certain amount of the product. Some ppl say 2 fingers for the face (not including the neck which one shouldn't forget) but there's a way to calculate the right amount for your face bc not every face is of the same size obviously. So the pea size you use is by far not enough to get the spf of 30. Maybe you already know but I wanted to let you know in case you didn't.. for a long time I wasn't aware as well but if you make the effort and use spf you should use it the correct way to really be safe :)

Yes you are right, no where near enough spf, you must use at least a 1/4 teaspoon for face and neck to get the stated spf level and re-aplied every 2 hours
Yeah I read once rule of thumb was about a quarter size to get the full benefits.
What I did was buying one of those baking measurement scoops and use the smallest (1 ml or 1.25 ml depending on the brand) to measure the amount I need to use on my face 😊

Literally makes me so happy to see u recommend the revlon foundation and L’Oréal concealer because that’s all I’ve been using with ur setting powder and it is sooooo good. Also using the GC setting spray with ur code of course. Tysm ily!!!
I must say, I’m a ☀️ sunscreen junkie! And I’ve used them all and in my opinion the best one is Ultraceuticals 50+ Protective Daily Moisturiser, it’s absolutely beautiful, it feels just like a Moisturiser, it comes in a Mattifying for oily skin, hydrating for dry and a standard 50+ 😊
I also swear by Ultraceuticals and it’s also an Australian brand. The SPF 50+ is currently being reformulated. Another awesome sunscreen is the Mecca Mineral Gel Cream SPF30 which is also being reformulated.
Dermalogica has outdated filters. Dr Dray doesn’t recommend Dermalogica.

I don't use a primer, and I've discovered that my skin actually looks and feels better without it, and my foundation sticks better to my skin. I don't need all that extra texture.

Beautiful. Both concealers r amazing. The L’Oréal one I’m so impressed with Doesn’t crease and I don’t even need to set it. And it’s less drying then tart shape tape.
The loreal has replaced my shape tape! Cheaper, easier to get, and like you said it's not as drying. The ELF camo concealer is a good one too. To me it's more like the shape tape, it can be a little drying. But it dont move! Dries matte. I have to set everything, even the loreal one. But I dont have to set the ELF one.
Beautiful! I love the whisper coverage of primer with the NJC Velvet Finishing powder. Love the NJCVFP so, so much. I have combo skin (dry, except T-zone) and your powder has made my skin BETTER. Also no irritating for those people with skin issues of an autoimmune type (if you're feeling Lupey)......Beautiful with or without make-up Nikkia and that comes from the inside out. :)
I just got your powder and it's amazing. I use it with the new urban decay foundation and I've been able to do 12 hrs (HOT) days with minimal fading. Thank you for putting out amazing products.

No joke the Nikkia Joy perfecting sponge is hands down the best I've used! And I'm very pickey when it comes to my products and you can feel that the pores of the sponge are smaller than other sponges while you're applying your foundation it just feels and looks incredible! Absolutely LOVE IT!

I also discovered a sunblock that I really love as well that costs the fraction of many others and actually makes my makeup last longer: Sunprise Mild Airy Finish by Etude House (SPF50/PA+++). I reapply sunblock in powder, which is also a new discovery. I use Sunkill powder by Catrin, but I have not yet used it long enough to make up my mind fully. It does not break me out and works fine as a touch-up powder.

Awesome vid Nikkia. Really luv learning how to keep my base to last. I’m a vet nurse so wear my makeup for bout 12hrs. I do end up getting sweaty so I always get separation happening round my chin & also wearing off top of my lip from blowing my nose. If u hav any further tips that may help pls let me no!!
