Mirko, can you say if the Neo 6.4 software will work with the standard existing Neo? iow, will we be able to use a standard Neo to set up a motor driven tail on other helis? and when the 6.4 software will be available?
Omphobby m2 rebranded. Would be nice to get something similar but ground up. I would wait for SAB to respond with their 200~ size first with direct drive..their engineering is next level.

Mirko can you share why the Vbar is mounted on top of the OMP electronics module? Why can’t you do away with the OMP module altogether? I’ll buy one regardless, but simpler is better.
That OMP Module is made smaller that the one of the M2, inside there are the 2 ESC's and one BEC, one for the main motor (3S) and one for the tail motor (2S) and the BEC regulates them from the 3S battery input ;)

oh I see. So the OMP module contains the ESC’s and BEC, while the Neo does the stabilization and controls the ESC’s, so there’s no cyclic or collective input from the OMP module, so it’ll truly be a Vbar heli? Awesome. I was afraid you were just using the OMP stabilization unit to control everything and using the Neo as a receiver only. If that were the case I’d probably pass. When can I preorder? :-)
And will OMP be able to stock and sell the mikado version?

the Logo 200 looks way better and probably flies better too because it has a vbar vs a generic fbl system in the M2 so no, its not exactly the same.
Daniel Ionut Mihalache It’s not the same heli, it has been redesigned, here you have the knowledge of the 30 years of the Mikado experience in the Heli industry. The main difference is that it comes with the VBar NEO mini and the set-up is done by Professional Mikado Pilots. Basically there is a all service, reputation and knowledge behind. Mikado test every heli before sending them out, this mean that you will get a perfect professional flying heli. But everyone is free to make his own decision ;) Mirko
Mirko Cesena - CesiX I don’t get your point. 1. Same frame, including mechanics. 2. Same electronics except VBar. Where is the redesign? Should I also point out that vbar is added on top of the original omphobby unit lol. What a Redisign that is...you could remove the old unit and only keep the vbar, cost savings right? This Heli is also meant to be used by advanced pilots who they could obviously set their FBL unit for sure, no need for “30 years experience” to do that. At the end of the day nothing that bad with this Heli, just put it in the right picture man.
I’m guessing the OMP module is required to do the mixing for the tail motor, since the Vbar can’t do a motor driven tail, as far as I know. Perhaps a later neo software update would make it possible?
