- Neighbor came out and complained about this overgrown yard while I was mowing it!
The homeowner which is a friend of mine is trying to sell this house because he's planning on moving out of country. I decided as a going away present that I would mow this jungle for free! So y'all sit back and enjoy the transformation of this yard from a overgrown eyesore to a nice cut lawn!

Good to help your friend. Important to have a neat front yard to present for selling, as well. It makes all the difference on whether people stop to look. You mentioned neighbors being unhappy with the overgrowth, now they will be back in good graces. Three wins. You made excellent progress.
The patio and seat could be an attraction, a nice place to sit. Might need a bucket with fake flowers, a fall arrangement or something by the front door, as an accent. (The front flower bed border being disarrayed stands-out at 8:46.) (Even the streetside border stones.) The lawn looks like there is grass. Weekly mowing technically would improve it fairly rapidly. Possible assets: a good yard for larger dogs; potential storage.
I appreciate everything that you are saying but I have a question for you. Are you by chance a Realtor? Just curious. 😆
@@TeePeeMowing Not a realtor. Ecclectic in interests. Watched a lot of videos called the "Unsellables" and they talked about what makes a sale work and how to catch people's interest. Training in Landscaping, Treework, and on a practical level, go out and do small free cleanups.

I think your friend needs to live in an apartment, where all lawn maintenance is done by the apartment manager. He obviously doesn’t do any lawn maintenance here at this nice house. What is he, in the military?
I agree with you on that, no he isn’t military. He has severe allergies and ends up at the Dr’s after mowing.

I don’t blame you. Cooler weather has finally arrived in Ontario, except for today. It’s 22C or 71.6 degrees Fahrenheit today. It will gradually get cooler as the weekend and next week arrive.

It is, but it’s a little unusual for this time of year. We stopped buying real pumpkins to carve for Halloween because it’s too warm and they rot before the 31st. 🧙👻🎃
Maybe you can get one with the cooler weather.

These edges are not crispy
The edges on the street side are nonexistent because of how they pave the street. They basically spray tar down and pour gravel on it which causes a crazy edge.
So the driveway sides are like that too? The other yards looks like crispy edges
