We Found this property driving around the neighborhood and left a flyer on the door. Found out this homeowner had lost her husband and everything outside hadn't been taken care of in years. She has a guy that comes and mows, but she said he doesn't really trim or edge.
She also had these two huge juniper bushes that hadn't been touched in quite awhile. At first I wasn't sure what to do with them, but then I reached out to my Aunt and she had mentioned I should shape them like a bonsai tree. That is what I did.

Every time you turned a corner there was something big to deal with! That juniper - all junipers - are such a pain! You did an exemplary job of clearing the dreck that they create underneath- oh my back was aching watching you do that. Hoping she is healing from her loss - that property is pretty amazing if the junk was hauled off! Kudos to you Brian - you go above and beyond every time 🎉😊
Take that big bush out because she's not going to be able to care for it or have the tools to care for it. Plus it will give her a lawn and sidewalk back and she will be able to look out on her front lawn and it keeps anyone from hiding behind the bush.

Well it looks butchered to you, but my eyes see a really nice job cutting it down, looks hundred times better than sprawling all over the sidewalk and taking up a huge part of her lawn. Good job is what I say and it looks beautiful to me.

You didn’t butcher the juniper tree but instead created a safer corner for traffic. It probably caused a lot of near misses in its state before. Property looks great now and with a few fall rains, the bushes and grass will get greener again. KS has its dry summers and looks like this property had a bad year. Kudos to you Brian and helper!!

What a HUGE difference the two of you made on this yard. So sorry you left your bagger at the dump. Call see if they will save for you. This lady I know was jumping up and down when she saw what all you did. Bless you guys. I am a volunteer and I did yard work at a place that helps people with guidance, prayer, food and clothing. I am a lady senior citizen and now I am sitting on the couch with the heating pad on my back taking Alive. But I want to keep helping and going instead of doing nothing.

The junipers were a work of art. You look through them and see their branches which are beautifully shaped. The before and afters were wonderful.

If you're choosing teams, I'm team "get rid of the juniper" Over the years, we've had several of them and by tge time we inherited them, they were overgrown and full of wasps nests.
