No wonders Why she is a skin expert....i mean the way she was handeling Jessica and demonstrating everything... superb👌👍
Thank you Aarin!
Hi Nerida! I'm a big fan of your work ( surprise surprise) and an Esthetics student. I'd love to be your helper, swipe your floor, whatever, just to learn with you since you're my inspiration to become a professional Esthetician in the future.
:)) you are so kind. I have much more coming for you all this year...super excited!!
I love your videos! Your voice is soothing and you can tell you know what your doing! 😃
Thank you so much Jessica!
Doctors talking is so soothing, I'm getting sleepy almost 👌
can you PLEASE make a video talking about how to deal with rosacea?
Kristal Bodon I second this suggestion!
But the client cheeks are so red but why I think she is rosacea skin type and had open pores on the cheeks as well
Redness can be inflammation, couperouse and sensitivities too
My skin always , always itches when I get a facial or massage , could it be diet or skin sensitivity ?
it could be the friction of the massage on the skin or the products being used. try a coconut oil on the body and a deeper slower massage
@@NeridaJoySkincare thank you 🥰
Thank you so much for tips on how to get rid of scars!
Hello Nerida, approximately how long is one of your facial service? I really enjoy doing the massage for the same reasons you listed but our school rushes us to get the facials done and I feel like we don’t spend much time in the treatment room as I believe we should.
could you do a video on blackhead removal!
Absolutely! I'll add this to the list
Arouge Rehman oh yes this is one I'd be very interested in watching. X
.
Massage is the key and movement as you say (in my experience). I've been told I look young for my age and asked what I do. I absolutely love skincare and keep regular with it, but think it's exercise that makes the skin, in conjunction with regular skin care, to look more youthful. Great video! Ty!!
Please please do more treatment videos! I love watching you work and I'm sure others would say the same :D You've got a great voice, are very easy to follow and obviously know what you're doing ^^ I think you would get a massive following with more videos like these :D (Ps loved watching your segment on Beauty experience, and was so excited to see you made a channel :D )
Hi khia555! Will definitely be doing more treatment videos. We have some great videos coming up within the next couple of weeks. Thank you so much for your support
Yay!! So excited! Can't wait to see them :D
Please teach self massage techniques :)
If you use the Flavonoid at night, do you leave it on wipe it off after a while? Does it stain the skin yellow?
You leave it on. Use little, and if it picks up a lot of the yellow color, it because your skin is dry:)) layer and use little ox
Thank you for your excellent advice... Im a training aesthetician and this is really helping me. I love your uploads!
Thank you Annette. Glad to be of help:))
Hi Nerida Joy! I really enjoy your video, very enlightening. 👍👍 Just one question, what type of exfoliator that has buffing effect? instead of the typical scratchy granules? Could you give some example?
the rejuvi exfoliating mask has a buffing and absorbing effect. I use it in all my videos and talk about effects. La praise have one called the 3 minute peel and valmont have one called the clarifyng pack also. Rejuvi is seen at my site educateyourskin.com
Wouldn't they take off the nose piercing!!??
Sometimes not:((
How would you target puffy eyelids with massage?
Drain away for the the tear ducts both on the lower and upper lids:)
Will do dear, I feel like i massage too hard with my fingers. But love all your tips.
Got from a friend the body shop face roller but not sure how to use it.
yes, gentle light pressure around the eyes is good daily:))
what would you recomend as an eye cream and a moisturizer?
I put her videos in an asmr playlist for myself because she gives me unintentional asmr and I always fall asleep when watching these 🤗
Thats funny:))xoxo
So informative...what kind of massage cream is your favorite for facials?
Hello Virginia,
Depending on the skin I am working on, I have different treatment products and cream masks I use to massage with. One of my favorite is a very thick hydrating mask that I mix with a selected treatment cream or oil. I like my massage product to stay very lubricant as I massage the skin a lot during my facials on most of my clients. They key is to find good hydrating products that do not clog the skin causing future breakouts after the facial.
I just found your channel and such great info! My skin is oily but dry at the same time, such a struggle to keep acne away 😐
I talk about this alot in my videos..... Surface dryness is a huge problem for acetic skins..... do not use a foaming cleanser:))
One dout mam on cheeks u r doin downwards... But we have to do upwards circles right?
its all about the pressure! deeper pressure upwards yes:))
what advice to have on natural dry skin, that is on gold tone African American skin 40'ish no wrinkles or acne, no fine line. use retain A cream 0.25 percent to 1percent nightly every day,!!!
Look at Kritika's videos:))
When doing a double cleansing, how long should you massage the product in before washing it off ?
Also, can you do a video that delves into topical dryness a bit more and determining which cleanser (no brand in particular) is best for specific skin types (oily, combo, normal, sensitive) ?
No foaming always...... massage for about 30 seconds the whole face. I remove my eye makeup on cotton rounds first with my cleanser.:))
I Love her analyst very peaceful tone enjoy this.,🏘️🏖️🌋🌆🌅🌄🕌⛩️🕋💈💈💈💈💈🌉🎭🚌🚍🚈🚅🎰🚄🚎🚉🚦🚥.
I want to know what products you use?
Mostly rejuvi educateyourskin.com
Are dermalogica and Isabelle lancray gud products for facials
Yes, they can be..... just start your cleanse with a non foaming cleanser so you set the skin right for your treatment products there after.
Omg I love Nerida, I literally made the decision last night to accept my passion and what I truly enjoy. I started watching videos and found you I would get on a plane just to see you or attend any of your event no matter what. You are an example of what living a fulfilling life feels like💗💗
Wow, thank you so much Diamond:)) Hope to meet you at one of my speaking events xoxo
hi narida,
can we buy your products
thanks
Lumipearl is one I have been working presently. You can bye it online :)
doesn't the lymph fluid need to be pushed downward towards the heart or else it gets clogged up back into the face if you don't pull it downwards ?
Yes, you can drain it in your final massage moves down the sides of the neck..... some people its more important for sure:))
thanks just wondering :)
Can you recommend over the counter retinoids and a great eye cream and gel
You can try a new line on-line I have been working on with Angie Harmon called Lumipearl. Its has it all for face and eyes and It's AHA's and retinols, and wonderful:)) but there are many good ones out there also
TY Nerdia where do I find it, do you have a link?
Is she Australian?
Yes, I am an Auzzie!
I just started esthetician school and we are having to do everything online. Do you have any encouragement?
You will learn a lot from watching my videos and others...... enjoy and take notes on what you like for you. Congrats and welcome to a beautiful industry:))
hey thank you for up loading this! I saw a video with you in it before beauty magazine or something. I am happy to see that your coming out with your own videos.
Thank you so much for watching!
Nerida, what amount is considered a mild retinol? i thought you shouldn't combine AHA's with Retinol's?
Hello Deanna,
Any Non-prescription retinol is what I am referring to as mild. Some over the counter brands are stronger than others, so to use on a nightly basis (assuming the skin could be a little sensitive) use a serum first. AHA's cream's are used in the daytime with an SPF. By using a retinol at night and AHA w/SPF for your day moisturizer, you are going to have a more youthful, healthy skin altogether.
Thank you so much for the help Nerida. So by putting a serum on before a night time retinol (mild), is that providing a little protective layer to the skin since it could be sensitive? And one more thing which number SPF would you recommend to wear daily?
Depending where you and how much you are out doors, I would say average a SPF45 to SPF65 is great. Tizo 3, colorscience sunforgetables, total block are some great brands
Nerida Joy thanks for all the advice
Retinol at night and aha's in the day is perfect mostly. Over the counter ( no prescription needed) are considered mild retinol:))
Very good video and very good tips. You've got a new subscriber. Greetings from Germany!
Thank you and hello Alessandra :))
can you also please mention the products brand used on her.. I took Accutane 4 months back for 5 months.. I am also dealing with scars.. I am using CeraVe which I really like, however in this harsh winters I want to add something more moisturizing.
I do mention...rejuvi. Watch the videos on Carol and Thuy skin if you are dealing with scaring also:))
@@NeridaJoySkincare oh I may have skip that.. i have a quick question, can i do laser hair removal home treatment if I have light scarring left on my face? Thanks aton :)
I am not sure on the laser hair removal home treatment..... never seen it to advise you ..sorry;) @@ankitaahuja111
What does it mean when her cheeks get hot and red?
flushed.... stimulation .....best to stay away from heat, hot showers, spicy foods, alcohol, tomatoes and peppers.... sensitive heated system.... foods play a large factor in this and genes:)) this is general info I have listed here as an outline!
this video is old but watching it I come to find out that I may have surface dry skin, even though my skin is SUPER OILY, like, after 2 hours of washing it it turns into the inside of a frying pan. And I don’t know what to do. I hace to find lines you mentioned all over my forehead and a bit on my cheeks
You are funny:)) Yes, surface dryness is a big problem for many people with oily skin. Do you wash with a foaming cleanser? Change to a non foaming if you are. Also, try using a buffing exfoliant rather then a granular one....if that be the case:) Surface dryness is the biggest problem I see on all skin types:)
Can we chemical peels on a have lupus..?
it depends on the type of chemical peel and the individual client:)
What product do you use on the face when doing massage?
Rejuvi.... educateyourskin.com :))
Is it a specific Rejuv I product?
ครีมมาเลเซีย ตะวันออกกลาง ตะวันตก ยุโรปเยอรมันนี ครีมรองพื้น นวดผิวพรรณ
how often should we massage our faces ?
Daily for 30 seconds when applying your moisturizer
Can you provide a pricing chart for services using Kit 3?
Awesome..ma'am..can we use aroma oils for the facial massages for any skin types?
I don't use aroma therapy oils solely as a facial massage. Some are too strong and can burn the skin (chemical burn) and others are too comedogenic....risky business for me and how I do my treatments:))
Thank you ma'am...ur v sweet.. Stay blessed..
wow very useful info.. thank you for the video
With what kind of product do you massage with?
Hi Stacy,
Because i wanted the video’s to be educational and not about a product brand, i don’t mention brands on video, but because you are asking i will let you know i usually prefer to use a hydrating mask from rejuvi as my massage cream in facial treatments. it is hydrating and healing and therefore I find it to be a great massage cream for most skin types.
so is surface dry associate with dry or oily? Or with dry or dehydrated? where would you find surface dryness?
ANY skin type can have the sub-condition of surface dryness. You can be oily with surface dryness. It just means you are using the wrong products .... an easy fix!
Love you
I'd love to know about the products you use in these videos. Including that flavanoid product you used on Jessica to nourish her skin.
I love serums..... treatment serums that feed the skin.... send me some brand names you like and i will add to the list for you:))
What do you recommend for use after vaso lipo on neck Nerida? I do I get rid of hard ridges under skin?
Firm massage...upward motion rolling :)
So pro! I love this video.
Thank you so much ox.

Hi Nerida, Love your videos.. Do you have any male clients with adult acne , what kind of skin routine can you suggest

i cannot understand this ...sorry
Thank you, I learned a lot from you!
wonderful, thank you:))
When you said surcade dry do you mean dehydration?
surface dry..... a sub-condition....not necessarily your skin type. Sub-condition you can change through the use of products....your skin the you cannot unless you take drastic measures like taking the prescription Acutain.
Wonderful tutorial. Who is Dr Wang?
Howdy :D What are your thoughts around tretinoin compared to retinol? :)
Tretinoin is a form a retinol.... retinoid acid (one A vitamin molecule) doesn't offer the variety of A molecules that you can get out of a vitamin A complex product which I prefer:))
@@NeridaJoySkincare I've never heard of a vitamin a complex product. Does rejuvi have one?
@@CrankyCrunchyVirgo yes, its called the a night gel www.educateyourskin.com

Not sure what this says:)
interesting! I love watching your videos, I'm learning a lot. may I know how did the skin turn yellow around the dry areas? is it a special product that you use for diagnosis?
Yes, I like to use a bio flavonoid that is high in arnica. It is wonderful, soothing and healing for capillaries, scaring and sensitive skin, but does stain the skin a little temporarily.
Hi Nerida. I'm an esthy in DC. Would you mind sharing the bio flavonoid? Is this a pro product that I can order?
Nerida Joy thank you :D
I love the rejuvi Q flavonoid. It stains the skin a little yellow so use only a little, but it is one of my favorites :))
This was such a great video!
Thanks so much Alejandra!
I use retinol .5 every night on my face. Should I be applying a moisturizer after? And does it really make a difference if you use gel eye cream alternating day and night with cream? I use the same clinique eye cream day and night. Thank you!
I cannot answer the retinol question as it depends on your skin and its condition.
Its fine to use an eye cream twice a day..... just good to change it up to when you can. For example, an eye gel offers great solutions for dark circles and puffiness often, so i like not use mine in the PM. An eye cream offers a different type of hydration and protection:))
@@NeridaJoySkincare thank you!
Does she have permanent makeup?
No.... I do not:)
Are you sure you are massaging in the right direction on the cheeks....looks like you're going against gravity and pushing downward instead of upward
My upward movements are much firmer then my downwards movements....you just cannot see or feel that.......:))
Microneedling would be amazing for her scarring.
Not a fan;( Scaring you need to work from the inside out to heal it 100%. Microneedling can be effective with certain skin colors but long term stimulating collagen by-way-of the fibroblast cells with treatment products is better then forced trama to the skin.
What are your thoughts on laser trauma to stimulate collagen? A good long term solution or massage and daily care is the best?
Massage I personally believe is best. Topical products can stimulate collagen without any trama ....mild retinol and AHA's :))
@@NeridaJoySkincare same skin conditions I have on my cheeks. . Please help me 😭
